Flaas effectively exposes the transactional nature of celebrity journalism, where advertising revenue consistently trumps the public's right to the truth. This critique serves as a necessary wake-up call regarding the manufactured "authenticity" of modern icons.

Something Is WRONG Here !!Added:
She told me this. This was really shocking to me. I had no idea that it was this bad.
>> Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Ashley Flor, journalist, Hollywood trutht teller, and your voice of reason in a town built on the illusion.
Sometimes I wonder if Blake and Ryan is actually watching this show because what Blake just did really makes me wonder.
Why did she just post a photo of her and Ryan that seems a bit more recent? I was just saying the other day that now Ryan is calling the paparazzi to re-upload old videos of them. So, it looks like they're still spending time together.
And guess what? Yesterday, Blake Lively posted a story of the two of them pretending that she still got the huts for her husband. She even zoomed in on different body parts and added this background music. Yummy, yummy, yummy.
Something. I don't know. Let's get into it. Also, yesterday I mentioned this survey that Katasha sent to me from Betty Buzz and I saw a lot of you left comments about that and some of you actually took the survey and it made me even ask more questions about this. Like for example, like why would they do the Servia Betty bus one a part of the company that they decided to already shut down? Let's look into that. And Ryan is trying to buy his way into the public's acceptance again. Now he's even paying to appear in the media. And someone in the industry sent me some really interesting observations.
One of them being about Ryan Reynolds on the cover of Time and another one of Blake Lively appearing alongside Hugh Jackman in Vogue. Now that we know the whole story here, all of this makes so much sense. Also, before I start, I was really looking forward to interview Dean Guzman this week. To me, he is like a true true hero. He helped save so many beagles from testing laboratories and is facing up to 31 years in prison for doing so. I received a message from him this morning that unfortunately he had to put his dog down today and it made me cry. Actually, I it made me so sad that I'm going to start crying when I talk about it. He saved this dog and now the dog is too sick and he has no other choice. I really hope I can get him on here at another point because I feel like this story is so important, very important for me and I hope it's important for you as well. What he has done to help so many of these dogs and I saw one of you guys commented as well that you had adopted one of the dogs coming from this specific testing lab.
So yeah, my heart breaks for Dean today.
Anyways, let's get into this crazy otherworld called Hollywood. So, as I mentioned yesterday, Betty Buzz Blake Lively's brand had this weird survey that Katasha sent me. Thank you again for sending this. I saw a lot of people commented on this in the comment section and I saw one person saying here, I submitted an application for the free product. It's obviously a marketing survey just to find out how people feel about Blake Lively. After answering that question, it says, if you you are chosen for a free shipment, we will email you.
So, there's no guarantee that you'll get the product. I mean, that in itself is so ridiculous. Why would people spend so much time filling out a survey when you're not even guaranteed to get a free soda for it? I mean, it's so ridiculous.
And I saw some people were speculating if this was actually a scam altogether.
And I don't think so because I did put this through AI as well. And the link to BettyBuzz Insiders is actually from another page called mysavings.com.
So when you go on that website, you get a message saying, "Sign up for the chance to get a free sample of Betty Bus sparkling sodas. Answer the questions on the linked page page. And if you're chosen, they will contact you via email for your shipping details. You'll receive it free with no obligation or payment information required as part of their sampling and feedback program.
It's so interesting why people would work so hard to get a free soda sent to them. I don't know if it's just one or if you actually get a bunch of them, but the whole idea of that to me is just like why would anyone bother? But what I also noticed is that they do have a link to something called Crowdley and they explain to you what they will use your information for. But anyways, my point is that I find it very weird that they would do this survey on a product that they are discontinuing. As you know, Betty Buzz is quietly shutting down as they said, and Betty Booze, the one with alcohol, are the products that are still for sale. So, why use these products that are they're planning to discontinue anyway to do this survey? So, what they could use this for is basically to see if Betty Buzz could survive without Blake Lively. But I'm not sure if that's the reason. And as you know, Betty Buzz is named after Blake Lively's daughter Betty and also her grandmother Betty. So Blake is so closely connected to this brand. So I don't think that they going to try to continue selling this brand without Blake Lively as a face of the brand. That doesn't make much sense at all. That was their power that they had a celebrity behind them. So the chances of them surviving or making more money without her. I don't think that's very likely. But what they could use this for is to see if all the backlash around Blake is just connected to what's happening on social media. to see if other people don't really know what's going on here or to see if consumers are actually avoiding the product. But what I do believe is the people who actually sign up for this survey who didn't do it because they just heard about it here on my channel. But other people, I don't think they will get anyone who already has a negative impression about Blake W to actually take the survey because they're like, "Oh, Betty Buzz, that's Blake. I'm not interested in that." Of course. So they would only get people to sign up for these free products who doesn't know her or who doesn't care what she did to Justin Baldi. But I guess they could get this small group of people who do anything for a free soda.
It's interesting when you look at Betty Buzz Instagram, there's not much activity there at all. But Betty Boos on the other hand have a bit more activity, but they had to close off their comment section and they're also hiding the likes on Instagram so you can't actually see how many likes they have. I just feel so sorry for all the people who spend so much time and energy and money into this brand to see one person's bad behavior ruin everything for all these people. Anyways, let's look at Blake Lively's post on Instagram or story. I have to say, as I mentioned before, every time Ryan or Blake posts a photo of the two of them together now, it's always like an old photo. And as I said the other day, I'm sure Ryan called this paparazzi to add or to repost this reel of the two of them walking hand in hand in New York City to pretend that the relationship is still going strong. And it's almost like Blake and Ryan watched that episode and now they're like, "Look, now we're going to post a photo of the two of us together." And Blake also made sure that we believe that she still has the hearts for her husband.
So, she added this music. Yummy, yummy, yummy. I can't play it for copyright reasons here on YouTube. And then she zoomed in on his bicep and tricep, like really closeups of his arms. She also did a close-up of the food that looks kind of nasty. But anyways, I actually don't think this picture is very recent either because when you look at Ryan Reynolds hair, the length of his hair in this photo, if that was taken just 3 hour, no, three days after his Colbear, Steven Colbear appearance, as you remember, he was a guest in the audience there making fun with some bananas and hugging some guy who didn't want to hug him. Well, his his hair looked very different that day. It looks like it's a lot shorter. So, I don't think it's possible that the hair grew that much in just 3 days. So, I believe this is also an old photo and now they're just like really desperately trying to make the public believe that they're still in love and that they still have a strong marriage, which I don't believe for a second. Okay, so let's get into some of this juicy stuff that this insider just told me. But before we talk about that, I wanted to thank the sponsor of this video.
You guys know I'm always careful talking about weight loss topics. GLP1s are not for people who just wants to lose a couple of pounds. These are serious medications for people who qualify based on health issues that they have. They should always be used responsibly under medical supervision. And even with GLP1, healthy eating really matters. There is no magic fix. Nutrition and long-term lifestyle changes are still incredibly important. What I like about Row is that they make the process less confusing.
Their free insurance checker lets you see if you are qualified for GLP1 medications without all the paperworks and phone calls. And if insurance doesn't cover it, they also offer more affordable FDA approved cash pay options. If I personally needed this report, this is the route that I'd take.
Join over three million people who've trusted Row to check their coverage for free. Go to row.co/flossom to see if you qualify. That's ro.co/flossom to get started on row and go to row.co/safety for boxed warning and full safety information about GLP1 medications.
Okay, so I just received an email from a person who's been in the industry for over 17 years working in some of the biggest media houses. I'm not going to say more about that. She wants to be anonymous for obvious reasons. But what she told me explains a lot about why some of the media houses or some of the publications has not been very balanced in the reporting of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. She told me this. This was really shocking to me. I had no idea that it was this bad. So she said when she was working for these big magazines, she said we would often hold stories or kill stories if they affected ad revenue. For example, we knew about Tiger Woods extra marital affairs a year and a half before the stories broke. One Tiger brand ambassador ad would easily bring in 100k per episode or per issue, for example. And each issue would run at least four of these ads. So they knew that he would lose these brands if this information got out there. So they just decided to sit on that information for one and a half years and get the money for these advertisements. And when you think about how the mainstream media has reported on this lawsuit, it makes total sense because we spoke about it so many times how much power Ryan Reynolds has.
and you know he has his marketing agency and you know he's making a lot of ads and he actually just did a paid collaboration with the Hollywood Reporter which I'll also talk about a little bit later but it really says a lot about why we sometimes or a lot of times can't trust the way things are reported. So, this person also told me, "It's interesting if you haven't covered it yet. Ryan's glaring Easter eggs on Time's cover." Remember, he was on the cover of Times. It was one from his from the front and then I think they did one from the back, which he thought was really funny. And it says on the cover it says, "How Ryan Reynolds rewrote the script."
Yes. Now that I told you everything about what Yumonia Dyke wrote in her expose on how Ryan Reynolds rewrote the entire script of it ends with us and rewrote the entire script of the lawsuit. This makes so much sense. And this cover, I think it was last year that he was on this cover and it was for his marketing agency, Maximum Effort.
And as he said so many times in interviews, he's just looking for a viral moment. He's looking for a viral moment and then he monetizes on that viral moment and that is his whole mindset of life. And I believe that Ryan sees everything as a marketing campaign.
I don't think he can separate real life from fiction. So this whole thing with Blake and it ends with us and this lawsuit. He just treated that the same way as he would treat any marketing campaign. She also mentioned to me the cover of Vogue. This was during It ends with us the promotion and Blake appeared alongside Ryan's BFF Hugh Jackman on the cover of Vogue. And the theme of this photo shoot that was created by Baz Lurman was to catch a thief. The movie by Alfred Hitchcock. Blake Lively was the thief. Yeah. Isn't that a quite fitting way to describe Blake? And I think when you know the sinister sense of humor that Ryan Reynolds has, these are the kind of Easter eggs that they love to plant just to mock Justin Baldoni and to just have a laugh behind his back. She's also mentioning how Ryan Reynolds used the same old banana trick when he was on Steven Colbear the other day. As you know, he was amongst the audience and he brought a bunch of bananas for some reason. I was like, that's not funny. But anyways, he thought so. and then he gave it to the keyboardist. Uh, and then he tried to hug him. This kind of weird. I mean, it's obvious sexual references. That's why he's bringing these bananas because as this person here is pointing out, he did the same banana joke with Joe Kiri.
Yummonia D who did the expose on Ryan Reynolds and how he took over this entire movie also did an expose on Ryan Reynolds and how he behaved with his co-star for free guy Joe Kiri during the entire promotion of that movie. Ryan was being really inappropriate with his co-star and he also brought in bananas and made him eat the banana in a way that of course was very suggestive and it just became really uncomfortable and disrespectful towards Joe who's also so much younger than him. Yeah, these patterns keep repeating themselves and now I feel like we're starting to really really know who Ryan Reynolds is. Also, thank you Lesie for mentioning this. I hadn't seen this article. So, remember how I talked about how Blake and Ryan's attorneys were building up the momentum around the Me Too law and how they were advocating advocating behind the scenes and pulling all the strings that they had available and all the connections they had in that world. And this article, this was published in 2024. I think it was in April. before they had launched this lawsuit obviously because that wasn't until the end of the year.
But again planting this seed here with Michael Gotautib in the New York Times same publication that published the story the expose of Justin Baldoni and the Wayfair parties we can bury anyone.
Well, here they have a big fat story on Michael Gotlib saying from Pizzagate to the 2020 election, forcing lawyers to pay or apologize.
Isn't that ironic how that headline didn't age very well? Anyways, it's a story on other clients that Michael got and that he is not a stranger to smear campaigns. Yes, very interesting. Thank you, Leslie, for that. Also, this shot up in my feed today. Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mack in a paid collaboration with the Hollywood Reporter. They're trying to push their documentary series about Rexom. And they paid for this. They paid for themselves to be interviewed here.
But the interesting part here for me was the comments. It's like, why would you even pay for a paid collaboration with the Hollywood Reporter when all you get is hate? Looking at these comments, there are no positive comments except the first one which is like a fire uh with from Amsterdam vintage watches.
Probably someone who sponsored Ryan once. And then it continues, "Ryan, no.
Mac, yes, paid partnership makes sense.
This guy really go away. It was his business partner. I If I was his business partner, I'd be cutting ties.
Learn from the examples him and his wife ex displayed to the world for the past year. Run, dude. No thanks. Who asked for this? No thanks. Absolutely not.
Boo. Who cares? Cancel. Let me think.
No. No. No thanks. Nope. Ew. Ew. No.
Yuck. Nope.
HR trying to make fetch happen.
And then a lot of memes with people going like or puking or whatever. So yeah, I feel sorry for Rob Mack who is stuck with a business partner who gets so much hate. It's amazing to me how Ryan just keeps pushing and pushing and pushing and it just gets worse and worse for him, but he just cannot stop.
Anyways, before I go, I wanted to mention this also. Thank you Ashley for sending this to me. She sent me a clip from the view where the women are talking about this case and it was interesting to see now how people are starting slowly to understand what really happened here. But they also had this reputational damage that I think is very difficult to combat ultimately because some of the reputational damage was that Blake Lively um was difficult to work with and that Ryan Reynolds sort of meddled in it and used his Hollywood heft to try to belittle this other guy Justin Baldoni that not that many people actually knew about and all of the claims Blake's claims against Justin were dismissed except for claims against his company. If any of these people on this around this table believed anything that Blake said, they would not talk about it like this. Okay guys, that's it for me today. Thank you so much for watching. I really hope you enjoy this episode. Please keep sending me tips.
You guys are so amazing. I could not do these episodes without you. As you probably noticed right now, so much of the things that I talk about here is because you guys helped me find it and you sent it to me. So, thank you for that. Anyways, if you haven't subscribed yet, please do and hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Lawsome Talk. And I'll see you soon.
