Oil and gas analyst Jamei says even energy producing nations like Malaysia are not immune to these volatilities. Jamil says Malaysia's policy direction is broadly on track, but delays in approvals, coordination issues, and commercialization hurdles continue to slow progress. As global energy uncertainty persists, Malaysia's push towards diversification must not be a mere environmental transition, but a strategy for long-term economic resilience.
