Rainy Day And Still Made Over $300 On Roadie

[00:00:00]What's going on, guys? Welcome back to the channel. Today is Saturday, May 23rd, and we're starting the day off with a route from Roadie XD.

[00:00:11]Surprisingly enough, these routes are actually really, really good this morning. There was a route I was tempted to take. It was for like 200 $22, but it was going into New York City. So, I'm like, h, let me see if I can get a route that's uh close to $170 that's staying in New Jersey. Because if I were to take that route that that was going into NYC, and I would have to pay like 30 something dollars in tolls just to get there and back to New York to Jersey plus gas. So, I actually did get a really good route, probably the best route they had up here at the time. So, this route is 16 deliveries, but 14 stops, 81 miles for $16,221.

[00:00:55]It would be nice if I could get another route that's going in the exact same direction because lately I haven't been able to get any any like two or three routes at a time. Uh, it's only one, but some people are able to get two routes.

[00:01:08]I'm apparently just not there's one of them that can't. So, yeah. Uh, we got about 25 minutes to get to the XD dock.

[00:01:15]And unfortunately, we have another rain rainy day today. It's going to be raining like all day. It's already starting. I'm not looking forward to that. But hey, I got to get this money.

But, um yeah, it is starting to rain heavier and it's getting cold and I hate the cold. So, I obviously got the heat on right now. I think it's like 50 something degrees.

[00:02:01]Yeah. And rain is going to be getting heavier throughout the day. So, I'm trying to make as much money as quickly as possible. I see some curry orders coming out. So hopefully while I'm down, cuz I think I'm going to like Lakewood.

[00:02:12]Hopefully while I'm down there, I can get some curry orders that are going back up to uh my location. All right, y'all. So this is what we're looking like. We got 1 2 3 four boxes, rig boxes, tires, bunch of small boxes, and filters. Perfect. 37 minutes of the first drive. Let's go. All right, y'all.

[00:05:47]Probably bags of bird food or something like that. But here's the thing that surprised me. I'm very far away from this place. like it's going to take me almost an hour to get to get to this pickup. Yet, I still got it. So, I guess I'm the only one here that's um trailer certified. All right, so we got 53 minutes to get to the pickup. Let's go.

[00:06:06]All right, y'all. Finally here. App says we're picking up bird food and dog food. Dog food is actually the heavy stuff. All right, cool. Okay, so this is what we're picking up.

[00:06:44]Okay, we got 14 minutes of the drop off and Roie tried to give me a an add-on from Best Buy going 15 m 13 hours. Like, no, I'm not taking that. All right, let's go. All right, so we I think I'm here at the drop off. Problem is I called the person three times. It rings once and then it just disconnects.

[00:07:05]I don't know what's up with that. I don't even know if this is the right place cuz there's this place and then there's another place back there.

[00:07:27]I might have to just take this back to the store cuz I can't even get in contact with this person.

[00:07:31]Okay, so someone just showed up cuz I was about to go back to the store, but they talking about they want me to wait here 10 minutes. I'm like, I'm not doing that. So, it's all the way in the back.

[00:08:17]All right, dropped that off. Gave me a $20 tip. So, that turned into a $60 order. Awesome. Um, still pretty far from home. So, I'm going to see if I can get maybe one more order that's going in my direction. If not, then 220. I'm cool with that. Well, we'll see. Actually, I'm headed back to the Roi XD dock because the routes just came out at like 3:00 and like the these routes seem to come out like randomly throughout the day. Know there's no like set time. So, you got to make sure that you keep your eyes on this map. I got a route for 16 deliveries, 15 stops, 49 miles for $110, which would bring my total for today up to $330.

[00:09:02]Awesome. Probably will be come back out here tomorrow. Hopefully, it's much better weather because it's just drizzling throughout the entire day. All right, we got 25 minutes to get to the dock. Let's go. All right, back at the dock. Not a line in sight. That is unbelievable. Damn. I need to come out and work on Sundays more often. This is crazy.
