Why China Is Obsessed With Jade 🤯Hinzugefügt:
In China, people consider jade stone very valuable because it is used to create beautiful artworks known as jade carving. First, the stone is thoroughly cleaned with water. Then, a special sand called jade polishing sand is finely ground and used. With this sand and water, the stone is continuously rubbed for many days until it becomes softer and easier to shape. After that, it is cut using a chisel and hammer as needed and placed on an old machine where water keeps dripping continuously. This process helps create holes and shapes in the stone. Then, artisans draw designs on it and carve very fine patterns with great precision. Even a small mistake can ruin the entire work, so extreme care is taken. Finally, it is polished again with fine sand, cleaned with lime water, and given a shine using plant wax. In the end, the stone becomes an extremely beautiful and valuable art piece. People in China have been doing this for over 300 years.
