Doctor Recommends Colonoscopy Over Alternative TestsAdded:
But what I'm getting at is what Bill and I are trying to help you understand, you've got to get these cancers before they become cancers.
Precancerous polyps that can be removed during a colonoscopy is your key.
And this test is going to miss miss 87% of those.
And that's why I am not going to indicate that personally I'm in favor of this test. I'm not going to tell you that you should or shouldn't get it. I leave that to you and your doctor for multiple reasons. There may be indications that this may be the best thing for you.
Um you may not be There are certain people because of blood thinners that can't have colonoscopies until they're off the blood thinners and this may be a great option for those people.
But if you are just like Bill and I, you're healthy, there's nothing going on, I urgently recommend please get a colonoscopy starting at age 45 or sooner if indicated and please talk to your provider before you go to an alternative because there are limitations to these alternatives.
