THE ECONOMIC CALENDAR WEEKLY WRAP #economy #economiccalendar #trading #tradinginsights #marketupdateAdded:
Okay, here's this week's trading calendar. Really, really important.
We're looking at the economic calendar, not the corporate calendar. Perhaps the single most important thing that's going to come out this week is European CPI, but US jobless claims. The market's really looking to see where the US economy is. Jobless claims are a really good forward indicator, and the PMI numbers tend to suggest where economic activity is for big US companies. So, a lot of GDP data, some inflation data coming out of Europe, some Fed minutes that I think are marked as high impact, but we kind of already know what they've been vibing and thinking, but the big focus is going to be on the US economy.
