New Kingstown Fire Co. Surge | Vengeant Apparatus
Added:Keith here at Vengeant Apparatus.
Today's featured truck is our Surge body built on a Ford F-550 chassis built for New Kingstown Fire Department here in Pennsylvania.
We'll start at the front of the truck.
We have a Buckstop Outback replacement bumper.
The bumper includes a 30-in Whelen Summit stick with scene, warning, and building marker lights.
We have 500 V's on the front bumper as well.
They also include puddle lights when the vehicle is in park.
We'll move here to the side of the truck.
We have 500 V's over the front fenders.
They also include built-in puddle lights.
We did a uh aluminum rims for the customer to replace the uh stock Ford steel wheels.
We have a Liberty II light bar with uh built-in Opticom feature.
And the vehicle right now is in uh slider position three, emergency response, uh low power.
We have our custom-built uh Vengeant Grip Strut running boards. They include T-Ions.
All the graphics you're seeing on the truck today uh are done in-house here by our market graphics team.
So, we move down the side of the truck.
We're using Technic S34 DOT marker lights.
We have a Kussmaul 20 amp auto eject.
Up high on the truck, we have the 900 series Whelen warning lights next to the Hi-Viz Guardian Elite scene lights.
Low on the truck in the polished rub rails, we have the Mega T series Whelen lighting.
We're also featuring the Hi-Viz Sub-Aqua ground lights.
We have a set of custom mud flaps in the rear.
The rear of the apparatus features the Whelen 900 series warning lights with the Hi-Viz Guardian Elite scene lights below them.
The uh Whelen four light bezel with M6 uh backup, scene, warning, and reverse lights.
We have a Whelen 2250 arrow stick, which the third brake light overtakes uh any any pattern that that light stick is flashing.
We have a custom printed backup camera bezel that we we've done in-house to house the Ford factory backup camera.
We have a class four trailer hitch with a seven and four-pin plug for towing and also a winch power if the customer needs to to add a winch to the rear of the vehicle.
Passenger side of the vehicle mimics the driver side of the vehicle.
And like I said previously, all the graphics you see were done in-house by our market market graphics team.
As we come back to the front of the vehicle, I just want to point out the Whelen PAR 36 fog lights.
And the custom printed license plate we also did in-house here as well.
The vehicle's now in park position.
As you can see the Summit Stick marker lights, the 500V puddle lights down the side on the running boards.
The T-ions.
And the amber amber mode.
And the high-vis sub-aqua ground lighting.
This vehicle also features side hitch receivers.
Which were customer requested. They also have power for a portable winch on either side of the truck as well.
We're going to move into some compartment configuration.
We use slide master slides.
In this transverse compartment, we did half slides per the customer request.
We did custom fabrication of storage solutions.
Uh all built to customer specification.
This compartment was just left open for for customer future equipment adding. As you can see in our compartments, uh all PPC coated in-house. And we did a custom um vent cutout for the customer with their department number.
Adjustable shelves in the street side three compartment The rear of the apparatus features our chain box compartment utilizing space between the the frame rails.
We also added a small Technic E45 strip light.
Slide master tray custom PPC tray. Customer's going to use this for uh dirty equipment after after a incident.
Throw it on this tray utilizing it like a truck bed. Take it back to their station, clean it up.
Drain holes in the tray so they can just hose the tray off when they're when they're completed.
Also added some additional E45 strip lights inside the compartment up high in the corners to give additional lighting in this compartment.
The curb side rear features an adjustable shelf tail and deploy for the customers Amkus tools and a battery charging station for the batteries that power those tools.
SCBA storage cylinders >> [snorts] >> An adjustable shelf with a DNS net to hold the customer's cribbing in place.
And then the front transverse features another half slide master slide with a custom storage solution built for customer supplied equipment.
The lower portion of this compartment also features a nice area for customer to keep some additional equipment.
The interior of the cab features a Vengeance custom-made center console.
We have a door jar light, a sync plug to sync up with the Ford factory sync.
We have a high USB A C charging port, which also shows shows you voltage.
We have a Havis MDT dock for the computer for the customer's computer.
We have our Whelen core controller.
We have a customer supplied mobile radio.
We have a custom-made map book, two cup holders, and we did a portable radio mount on the back of the console for the customer.
We also mounted the customer's mobile radio speaker up high per their request and installed additional Tecnic dome lights controlled by the core controller.
Single push is white.
Double push turns those dome lights to red.
