This is why South Africans march against African immigration than Europe & Asia illegal immigrants

[00:00:02]Hi guys, welcome to our YouTube channel which is unpacking with me shock. So I see that a lot of people are praised by the fact that they are endless matches against illegal immigration in South Africa. We've seen in the likes of Johannesburg, Durban and all that. So a lot of people are saying that why does it looks like the people that are behind these matches are only targeting African foreigners.

[00:00:34]They're not targeting European, Asian like illegal immigration. Why is that the immigration or rather the match is directed at African illegal immigration.

[00:00:47]So yeah, partly agree with that agreement as much as I partly agree with the match because honestly this is beyond control because even the government is doing nothing about this illegal immigration. So that's why now people are taking it upon themselves to can fix this problem because it affects them directly more specially in townships. Why do I say in townships?

[00:01:15]I think I once stayed in Ivory Park. I think it was 2012 to like 2015. There are a lot of people from Zim and Mozambique that are owning RDP houses there that are getting SASSA money which I think they are robbing the locals of that because there are a lot of locals that are renting from Zimbabwean people and Mozambican people that are landlords now because our laws are very weak. So you see that it becomes a problem when the locals there are those locals that are suffering staying in shacks whilst they are illegal immigrants who enter this country. Now, they've bought IDs and all that. They are now like South Africans, like they they enjoy benefits of South Africans, you know? So, another thing you see with domestic workers, uh, people who do plumbing, electrics and all that. So, if you are a South African with certificates to can do plumbing or electricity, it means you must compete with illegal immigration.

[00:02:29]So, meaning if now you say, "Okay, you're going to do a job for 5,000." And then those people because they want to survive, they want money for rent, they want money for to buy food. They are not looking for comfort. So, they can say, "We can do that job for 2,000 or 2.5." Because all they want is survival. Unlike South Africans who will go for comfort, like to want more money to can sustain themselves and their kids and all that.

[00:02:58]So, that's why a lot of people from townships are marching against illegal immigration. And a lot of people doesn't seem to understand that logic to say, "Why are you only directing your frustrations on African illegal immigration than your Asia and Europe?"

[00:03:16]Because those Europe illegal immigration are not in townships. They are in suburbs. They are paying uh 10,000 rent. They are paying for their They are paying for private schools.

[00:03:30]They are paying for private hospitals and doctors. But when you check with the Zim and Mozambicans and Malawians, those ones are going to the public infrastructure, public schools, uh, public clinics, public hospitals.

[00:03:47]They are competing uh for those low-income jobs with locals. So, that's why you see a lot of people from the townships marching against those people because you cannot go to a suburb and march against a foreigner who comes from Germany and who's paying his rent, who's going to a private doctor, going to a private clinic hospital, because those people doesn't affect your limited resources like when you check with your public clinics, public schools. Imagine now if you you want to take your your kid to school maybe in township and then they say there's no space and when you check there are a lot of kids from illegal immigrants that are taking the space that was supposed to be the space for your child. So, I think a lot of people misunderstand that part and feels like now it seems like those matches are against African illegal immigrants as opposed to it focusing on anyone who comes into a country illegally.
