[00:00:00]Another very important biioarker to get on your labs is lipoprotein A. This is a sticky nasty cholesterol particle that is inherited. One in five people actually have it. And even if you have a normal LDL and a normal apo B, if your lipoprotein A is elevated, it puts you at much higher risk for heart attack and cardiovascular disease, even stroke than someone who does not have lipoprotein A.
