In assault trials, physical evidence such as medical photographs of injuries (including bruising, swelling, and signs of strangulation) plays a crucial role in establishing the nature of the alleged assault, while defense strategies often focus on questioning the victim's credibility and presenting alternative explanations for the injuries.

Yung Filly Trial Shows Victim Injuries
Added:So, Young Philly's lawyer said to the woman accused him of rape, "So, after being slapped and having your breathing impeded and having been anally penetrated and having been bitten on multiple occasions, you asked Young Philly for chips to go." And the woman replied, "Yes, I did."
>> What?
>> And the craziest part about that is Young Philly turned around and said no to her. She cannot have fries and ordered himself a burger. You seriously asked for chips to go after that. And she answered, "Yes, I stupidly asked that. Yes." In other cases, they say when women have something of this nature happen to them by someone that they either like or they fancy or like, sometimes they're in denial at first.
But this was a ridiculous moment in court. During the cross-examination, it come out the woman actually admitted she worked as a promoter for the bar and nightclub, which she involved sharing photos and videos of the events at the club over her Instagram followers. She also admitted she was hoping to meet the star in person at the event and requested multiple times to enter the VIP area, which she did just before 2:30 a.m. after Young Philly's performance.
So, there was CCTV of these two arriving back at the hotel. She'd come with him.
She said she thought she was going to an after-party, but went back to the hotel with him. In the CCTV, it showed the woman walking some distance behind Young Philly in the hotel lobby. Philly could be heard on the footage talking about what time he had and he's leaving the next day, a casual conversation. She was not walking right next to him or holding his hand or arm. So, Young Philly's lawyer was saying she was in this hotel willingly. He's not grabbing her or pulling her, and she knows exactly what she's there for, intercourse rather than thinking it was an after-party. The complaint's response, she admitted she walked behind him, but she said she wasn't intimidated because he was with seven guys that she didn't know. She told the court, "I didn't want to interrupt or be rude or say something wrong." She maintained she still believed or hoped she was going to an after-party and felt uncomfortable about speaking up in the situation. The CCTV was shown alongside some earlier footage outside the club where she was seen giving a thumbs up and down signals towards the car Philly was in. The lawyer tried to portray her on CCTV as calm, voluntary, and consistent with someone going there for consensual sex, not someone being taken against their will. The lawyer was pressing her on these issues on the cross-examination and she broke down in tears in court multiple times. He said, "This is not what happened at all, is it? This is a pack of lies." She was pressed on the most traumatic details, the biting that broke the skin, choking, slapping, and anal penetration, and she was questioned about obviously the chips to go after the alleged assault, and she was shown footage of herself smiling or acting calm shortly before leaving the hotel.
Despite crying, she was answering the question. One thing we have to remember throughout this as well, Young Freebody is on trial for rape, but it's also just inflicting injuries charges as well. So, that's another thing they're trying to prove throughout this trial. But, now we've actually heard from the doctor in court as well. So, this is the woman Sai been put forward about her injuries she encountered during this alleged assault.
The Australian media actually spelt Young Freebody's name wrong actual Young Le Po. But, he had said that the trial had shown photographs of the alleged victim's injuries. Now, in this part there's a warning to the story contains details readers may find distressing including descriptions of the alleged sexual assault. So, I'll put that disclaimer in there myself, but we're going to get into it. Doctor Hoy took a series of close-up photographs of the 20-year-old's injuries, her neck, her breasts, and they were shown to the jury depicting multiple large bruising and swelling. These 21 photos what the doctor described as green and purple bruises on her neck, linear bruises on her neck, and large yellow bruising in area on her breast. Nearby on her breast was another bruise measuring 4 to 8 cm as well as a bruise that the doctor described as a yellow color describing these photos in detail as well as displayed in the court. The doctor said the bruises on her face included two linear red swollen bruises on her right cheek and bruise on the left side of her face and extended to her neck. The doctor said some of the bruising and swelling on the left side of the 20-year-old's neck could have been caused by obstructing the jugular vein, a form of strangulation. Young Freebody does have rape charges, but like I keep emphasizing one of them is impeding someone's breathing. This ain't just a love bite, these are series of injuries, and the only defense you can have when there's proof of the injuries is that the woman had done it to herself. I'm not saying that happened to myself, I'm just saying that's the only defense you can have when there is injuries that have been presented that are clear, not love-making and seriously aggressive.
This whole encounter with Young Philly has actually gone wrong within an hour or two. So, obviously, she reportedly called her friend at 5:31 a.m. shortly after leaving, according to earlier police documents, but we also see when they arrived back at the hotel. So, this is all happened within an hour or two, things have gone completely left. Young Philly's lawyer has responded to the injuries, but it's hard to determine what is unconsensual. I mean, was they both into it, was it roleplay? It is a one-night stand and the first time they've been together. We don't know what the woman was asking for the bedroom. This is a very complicated trial to break down in these circumstances.
>> The British rapper's defense lawyer said to the woman about her claims, "It's a pack of lies and never happened." The woman replied through tears, "I'm telling the truth." They asked why she didn't appear distressed in vision shown to the court after being allegedly abused by the 30-year-old, she insisted she was and said, "I put on a persona to act as calm as I could, so I wouldn't get abused or raped again." Pictures and videos of the woman's bruises after the encounter were shown to the jury. The 20-year-old heard saying the bruise on her cheek hurt. The defense lawyer questioning whether the marks could have been left by sucking rather than biting.
The woman disagreed.
>> The jury was also shown footage of the alleged victim leaving the nightclub and arriving at the hotel with the British YouTuber and his entourage. The 20-year-old was then seen leaving the Intercontinental Hotel after the alleged rape. She was on the phone, but told the court today she couldn't remember who she was speaking to, only to say it was likely her cousin, who she was with earlier that night. The defense His labeled this an inconsistency, saying she told prosecutors she only called her cab >> So they've known each other around 7 hours on this evening all together with the club stuff. I'm saying it was only at the hotel around an hour or two. I keep seeing tweets that are going viral referencing the girl's age in this situation. They're saying she's around 19-20 at the time, a lot younger than Young Philly, and he's not on trial for anything to do with her age. So this is a matter of public opinion, but tweets have been going viral like, "I knew Young Philly had an issue. He randomly got an Uber for some random 18-year-old sixth-former to his house that he saw on Snapchat a few years ago. No vetting, no talking, all because he thought she was hot." His lack of sexual discipline was always going to get him in problems. In terms of the legal process, it's not going to play a part how old someone was or if they expected better from him because he's older and a one-night stand, you shouldn't be comfortable to do certain things. It's not your partner. Maybe the jury will look at certain things like that in their own opinion, but in terms of a legal perspective of being found guilty here, it should be down to if he done the charges that actually been presented to him. They was both old enough to have intercourse with each other, and it started off consensual, but we're trying to determine at any point did it become unconsensual to the point where she got injuries. Young Philly obviously doesn't have any previous. He is in Australia, is an Australian jury looking at him, and an Australian victim involved. We'd hope he gets a fair trial, but we have to see what happened. People have also been discussing just the way he treated the woman. Obviously he got himself a burger, didn't get her fries. That is one thing that has been mocked in this trial as a little bit crazy, but someone said, "Listen to an update on the court proceedings for Young Philly, and the man ruined his own career being an animal. Apparently his 19-year-old victim met him at the club. Wanted to say hi because she was a fan. They went back together, and she assumed she's going to party. The bodyguard took her phone. At the hotel they were staying in, it started off consensual. He started getting into it and doing crazy things, but it was basically saying the stuff he was saying was horrible like, "Say I'm Young Philly's hoe. Say I'm a fat pig. Say I'm fat. I'm fat. What the hell?" The trial is ongoing, but it's crazy. Seemingly a good guy can be so twisted, but let's see how it unfolds.
So we're 3 days in out of 10, and what is the summary so far? So, the way this started is her putting across her side and the brutal night she had with Young Philly. Day two, things changed a lot.
It was inconsistencies that Young Philly saw and did a very good job at poking holes in. And day three, now the injuries are being presented. So, she's played both of her cards and Young Philly will come back again tomorrow with more defense on these photos. And already he's described it as sucking.
More holes will be poked. We're not even halfway through this trial, yeah. There is a time zone difference, so it is quite hard to cover this. So, to support me, just leave a like on the video and subscribe to the channel and I'll catch you guys in the next one.
