[00:00:00]There's a fast-track to Chinese fluency that most people don't know about.

[00:00:03]Fluency isn't about studying for years, it's about learning a few thousand common words quickly and effectively. So first, learn characters using the hands that move you method, our memory palace technique [music] that makes Chinese characters stick permanently. Next, tackle words using mnemonic association.

[00:00:18]With this method, you can easily learn 30 to 50, even 100 words per day comfortably. Lock everything in with spaced repetition flash cards so you retain what you've actually learned efficiently. Now while building this foundation, find useful example sentences containing your new words.

[00:00:34]Listen to them on repeat every single day while reading along. After anywhere from 30 to 100 repetitions, you'll be shadowing them comfortably. [music] And finally, do retrieval practice where you produce Chinese from English translations or your imagination or AI prompts out loud. And once you can do this with a few thousand common words, you'll speak Chinese at a decent [music] level. Continue this approach incorporating more and more native Chinese content into your routine and you can reach any level of Chinese you want pretty damn fast.
