This video masterfully deconstructs how systemic bias infiltrates mundane commercial spaces, proving that digital documentation is now the only effective check on institutionalized prejudice. It’s a sobering reminder that the "customer experience" remains a privilege deeply fractured along racial lines.

DINING WHILE BLACKAdded:
OGTV45 tapping in. Now, something went down yesterday in the state of South Carolina that I'm not feeling.
Now, probably the most popular black food critic in the state went into a racist redneck establishment by the name of Percy and Willies in Florence, South Carolina, and they gave him the [ __ ] treatment.
>> I know my law. Don't tell me. Don't tell me.
>> I have it, sir.
>> Don't tell me. Don't touch me, boy.
>> This right here, a picture of the owner of Percy and Willies grabbing on me after I asked him not to touch me 30,000 times. Him and the manager got a touching problem. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation. I was surrounded by a lot of angry men and they all had pocket knives. Not to mention, they kept touching me. Look at him leaning on me, pushing me with his stomach. Y'all not supposed to do that.
I had to get him off of me. So, I pushed them off me once again. I told him to get off of me. And look, he's still leaning in for body contact. Hm. All I wanted to do was give my food review.
>> I only weigh 100 something pounds, sir.
You can't be pushing and leaning on me like that.
>> Let me show you how it all began, though. What's up?
>> Yeah. Tell you right now, we at Percy and Willies in Florence, South Carolina.
We just going to see what's going on.
What's up? Now, before I break down this footage and we collectively decide whether or not this was indeed an act of racism or just a horrible business decision on behalf of Percy and Willies, before we break that down, I just want to say that whenever any establishment is exposed for bigotry or being racist towards black Americans and you continue to support that establishment, Just because you like the food there or you like their service or whatever it is they provide. You overlook the fact and you know that they're racist establishment that doesn't like our people and wishes harm and bad things for our people and you continue to support them and give them your money. Don't be surprised if anything ever happened, you know, some civil unrest ever goes down on US soil and the rest of the [ __ ] come after you first. Don't be surprised.
Damn though. They say our way are hungry right now.
>> It's a server that's willing to take you just because it's you.
>> Oh, real.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, yeah. Let's get it then. Hell yeah.
Silverware. They already starting off bad. Uh, sweet tea.
>> Sweet tea.
>> Yeah. [laughter] You said y'all out of the what?
>> Prime roast sandwich.
>> No tip.
>> I ended up ordering the baby back ribs.
I hope it's solidified.
>> Now, if you're not familiar with Ben Critic, he's a food critic out of South Carolina. I know that in the black social media space, the most popular guy or the guy who comes to mind first when you say food critic is Keith Lee. Shout out to Keith Lee. I like Keith Lee's work, too. But this guy been a critic.
He's my guy. He's a South Carolina guy.
I'm showing South Carolina favoritism.
And he's also a comedic guy. He's got a sense of humor. He's got a whole little bit that he does when he does his food criticism. And he's highly entertaining to me. And you can tell by his following that a lot of people agree with me. He keeps it real simple. He's got two food ratings. If he likes your food, it's just a little bud.
A little damn.
>> And if he doesn't like your food, NO.
That chicken dry AS HELL.
NO. That [ __ ] sweet as hell. What's up?
Now we going to take this thing back to the top and look at exactly what happened with Ben Critic at Percy and Willies.
>> Let's see how this restroom look. That [ __ ] probably dirty as hell.
>> Pretty clean. Pretty clean. I don't got too much to say about that. What's up?
>> What's that? What's that?
>> Remember him? That's the manager that kept pushing me with his stomach.
[music] He didn't seem that mad just then. He asked me how I'm doing and everything. What's up?
>> How you doing?
What you about, man? This bar packet and the [ __ ] >> All right, now y'all time to bring the popcorn out.
>> You hit me at the front door, >> huh?
>> Come to the front door with me.
>> Who are you?
>> I'm asking you to come to the front door.
>> Oh, yeah. Come on.
>> See, I thought he wanted to talk some business until I noticed his facial expression and body language.
>> Who you?
>> I'm the manager. Please come to the front door.
>> Are you the manager? Who you want me to come to the front door for?
>> I'm asking you to leave the business.
>> Why?
>> We don't allow videoing in here.
Y'all heard that? This man said call the police. Man, I only said why.
>> Okay. I don't allow video in here.
Please go to the front door. I'm asking you to leave. Please leave.
>> Man, shout.
>> Sir, man. Shout. That's why I'm saying why you acting like that? You could have asked me better.
>> You could have asked me better than mind leaving. I've asked you to go to the front door.
>> Yeah, I don't care about leaving. You could have asked me better than that.
That why I'm saying >> you go to the front door.
>> At this moment right here, my whole life reflecting in front of me. I feel like they want to get me locked up cuz peep this. We weren't even talking for 15 seconds and he already been calling the police. And guess what? I never said no.
I had to take a deep breath. Tell you right now, what's up? Watch out.
Anyway, boy. I about solidify. I [ __ ] personally. That's the crazy part about it. So why would you why would you kick me out anyway?
>> Did I was I asked you to leave?
>> What was I doing wrong?
>> Ask you to leave. What did I do wrong?
>> I literally came in here, sat down, ordered my food, and did nothing wrong.
>> Okay, then why you just said Why didn't you just say no video? I would have stopped video.
>> I would have stopped videoing.
>> I asked you to come to the front door.
>> I would have stopped videoing. All you had to say is no video and I would have stopped video.
>> Why would you have to kick me out?
>> I'm the owner and you need to leave. I'm going to put you in jail.
>> I won't go to jail. I promise you I won't.
>> I promise you I won't. I know my law.
Don't tell me. Don't tell me, >> sir. Don't tell me. Don't take me, boy.
Don't touch me, dog. I'm telling you.
[ __ ] to get real in that [ __ ] boy.
Don't do it.
>> I'm just walking up.
>> Don't do it. Don't tap me, boy. I'm telling you, ma'am. Don't touch me.
>> Don't touch me. I walk up to the police immediately. Joe immediately.
>> He's already assaulted me right in my face.
>> Did y'all just hear the owner of Percy and Willy's lying to the police?
I'm not a racebait Democrat who cries racism every time I have a disagreement or a situation with the YT person. I don't move like that. I try to keep the focus on the issue at hand. So initially I tried to give Percy and Willings the benefit of the doubt and say maybe they didn't just want a food critic in there period because they didn't want to take a chance at a bad review because it may be harmful to their business. So they wanted him out because merely he was a food critic.
But it was that point right there when he said that that man assaulted him and that man never raised his hand to him.
That let me see the years and years of deep rooted racism in that redneck cracker.
And I'm going tell you why.
Cuz they believe that whatever they tell the law a [ __ ] did, the law is automatically going to believe them cuz the [ __ ] is inferior to them. And he showed that in his actions.
So I can't give him no pass.
He brought back memories of Emit Till.
He brought back memories of Rosewood. I can't give him no pass. That is racism.
And we must together stop Percy and Willies from getting any more [ __ ] money. They don't deserve another black American dollar ever. It's that same hidden vitriol that destination smokehouse had for Unk tendonism.
They was upset when that brother came to give him that $4,000 and he was getting all that limelight and flare in their establishment.
So when Ben Critic walked up in there and he getting all in love like he's a celebrity, everybody sitting down in there dining recognized that man and acknowledged him and shouted him out.
That kind of pissed them off cuz see they they put the they put the nail in the woods on the floor. They feel like all the praise supposed to come to them.
Not this [ __ ] >> Ain't nobody assault you, boy. You on candy camera.
>> That's how innocent people get locked up right there. If I didn't have my own evidence, he would have swore up and down I hit him.
>> Screaming assault. Really? You sound like a little girl. What's up?
>> He's already assaulted me right in my face. I shot you on camera, boy.
You're on camera. You on cameras, too?
Yeah. Did I assault you? Yeah, man. All right. You sir, don't lie. Don't lie. I will sue you. Don't lie.
>> Don't lie, boy.
>> Calling me A BOY NOW.
>> BOY, [screaming] DON'T LIE, BOY.
>> HEY, time to go.
>> Let me get the [ __ ] out of here before I flip this [ __ ] He on the phone telling lies to the police.
>> I'm sorry, sweetheart. They tripping for no reason. I don't know what wrong with him.
He tweaking. I don't know him. Do what you got to do.
>> He tweaking, buddy.
>> Yeah. Everybody love me in here.
>> You can't stop the love.
>> Everybody love me in here. Shout it.
>> That's another one.
>> You're going to jail.
>> Yeah. Okay. We going to see EVERYTHING ON CAMERA, BUDDY. IT'S everything on camera, buddy. Camera right here.
>> Yeah. Everything on camera, buddy. I would never go to jail. You want >> the door to go out the door? You touching me?
>> No, I'm touching the door.
>> You touching me?
>> You were touching me.
>> Why you touching me?
>> WHY DID YOU OWN ME?
>> WHY YOU ON ME?
>> You got to make ME PIPE UP IN THIS [ __ ] I AIN'T TOUCH NOBODY. SO DON'T TOUCH ME.
>> DON'T TOUCH ME, SHOTTY.
Don't cut me, boy.
Don't cut me, Shotty.
Don't cut me, boy.
>> That's a hit right there. That's a hit record right there. I don't know if you know it or not, Woo, but but that that's a hit record. All you got to do is put a James Brown beath behind that right there. You going platinum with that [ __ ] brother.
>> Mhm. Look at him. Still grabbing me.
Still touching me. You don't supposed to be touching me. I'm walking out. You invaded my personal space.
>> That's why I was saying [ __ ] off me when I was pushing you. Get off me.
>> [ __ ] off me.
>> I have to be 100% honest with you. For the most part, you don't see blatant racism like that in South Carolina every day. Regardless of what you may have heard or what you know from a historical perspective or what you may believe that people are still holding in their hearts, that might be very true. But I'm saying what you see with the naked eye every day, you don't see that. Majority of the white people in South Carolina are extremely hospitable. They'll pull over, help you change your tire, stuff like that on the side of the road. Like I said, I can't see what's in their heart, but what they display outwardly is nowhere like what was displayed outwardly in Percy and Willies on an everyday basis.
But because the Percy and Willies of the world do exist, stay woke.
