[00:00:21]Morning. Get ready with me to go on a one day shopping trip to Madrid.

[00:00:35]I am going to NS that's maybe that's mainly the reason for this trip. I want to get a few savings but then again I also want to try to see if I'll get a bag. I know that's almost impossible but I mean I'll try. for the major reason I'm going to MS and I'm going to Madrid. I think if you watch my last vlog you would know I would like to get um a bag a quarter bag but I also know one of the easiest way to get it is to have a relationship with a sales assistant. So, I want to have a relationship with a sales assistant in Madrid because Madrid is closer to Mia, which is where we have our apartment in Spain. I mean, I'm not expecting to get back today, but you never know.

[00:01:37]I forgot to mention the time. It is 4:52 a.m.

[00:01:43]Not this early because my train is for something 6:32 or so. Crazy how early I'm willing to wake up just to go shopping. But then again, it's a one day trip. I have to come back today and Madrid is 3 hours plus because I'm take I'm not taking the fast train. If I was taking a fast train, it would be 2 hours 40 something minutes. But because I'm taking the not so fast train, it is 3 hours 40 something minutes, which is not bad because the fast train was going to cost me more than I think twice what I've paid or more than twice what I've paid. So for this one and this one is first class train. So that's good. Or first class seats. Ah, I didn't show you what I just used.

[00:02:40]This is why I had to get up early because if I want to do all this, film all this content, I have to be early and they will take me to the train station in Merc. And it's not about to wait for me.

[00:04:17]Well, not for my daytime routine. my night time routine. I use a le night cream.

[00:04:25]I really do like my night cream, but I'm going to change it when it's finished because I really would just like to stick to one skinare brand when it's working for me.

[00:04:41]Like really really working for me. So today I'm going to be spending some of my money. I would say it's probably all of my husband's money, but then it's whatever I save from my allowance every month. So, yeah. Anyway, Abby gave me cash for Mother's Day and the Valentine's Day present because I told him I wanted a bag, but I ended up not buying it because I thought if I buy the bag in the UK, I'm not going to get my tax refund. So, I'm going to wait until I come back come to Spain to buy it. But now in Spain, well, I wanted a bag and a belt. So, a bag from Demellia. I wanted to buy a bag from Deia and I wanted a belt from MS. I didn't want to buy it from the UK because I'm not going to pay my tax refund. So, I decided to wait until I'm in Spain to buy it just because I know I'm going to get my tax refund.

[00:05:41]Um, so I'm going to be spending my Mother's Day present. Well, I'm going to be buying my Mother's Day present today and Valentine's Day present today.

[00:05:53]Probably will not be buying a bag. I'm not sure. Even if I'll be buying a bag, I'll have to go to um, what do they call it?

[00:06:59]Oh, and it says I was checking yesterday. It says 12 um 9 months after opening. So today if I have to buy back, it has to be a quarter bag. I'm always ready to buy that whenever I get offered it. But then again guys, I'm not desperate to be honest. I just love the MS brand and that's it. I've always loved them brand from way back before I could even my first oran slippers and to be honest whether I get back or not I really they don't really mean so much to me but I would like to get one and that's why I would rather wait to get from Mer Hermes Hermes and that's why I would rather wait to get from Hermes directly than to get from a um than to get secondhand that is so pricey because I don't care honestly now if I do get a good price from a retailer or what do they call it secondhand whatever good price I probably might get it I was very close to getting a ke on vinted recently But I'm just like the whole idea of paying over six, you know, over eight £8,000 for a used dog item. I don't see. That's why I've not really bought a a bag cuz yo, buying a used bag for that price.

[00:08:49]I'm not understand the when I can get a new one. I don't care if it takes ages to get the new one. I'm not going to spend that much money to get a used up bag. So, I curled my hair two nights ago. Yeah, it's not bad.

[00:09:25]This one So, this is not the first time I'm doing this, but the first time it didn't work out like this with this one is that I I used water. Okay. And it turned out nice.

[00:11:10]I'm not sure. I don't know. But we'll see. But I have a spending limit. I give myself a spending limit. I don't want to spend more than that. Even though I like the good things of life, I also like seeing money in my account. like seeing a lot of money in my account.

[00:11:38]That's why when I went out walking yesterday, my I had the scarf on because my rollers wasn't was in place.

[00:26:52]say You come say If you are a traveler, you really need to get used to using the map for walking. You know, there's a map for driving and there's another one for walking. Absolutely helpful to be honest. I can use the walking, the driving and you know the public transportation. Let's say if you taking a train, the bus stops and yeah, well that's by the way at this point I was getting close to where I was going to.

[00:28:38]say finally located this place. It is beautiful. Honestly, I feel like this thrift store is every woman's dream.

[00:29:05]Maybe not every woman's dream, but for the women that love shopping, okay, then you will love this place because there is absolutely no designer item that I did not find here. Chanel, Louis V, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, um, literally from ready to wear bags, Gucci, Prada. They had loads of um, Chanel bags, Chanel purses, everything. Just loads of it. I couldn't really film because they did not allow me to film.

[00:29:41]But yeah, they had um Burkin Curly.

[00:29:46]Really amazing. And then I walked to this other thrift store that is also very close to the one that I just left.

[00:29:53]I asked them if they had a male Rolex watch for male men because my husband has been looking around to get a Rolex watch and he's not been able to um find it. So, I asked if they had it and I sent pictures to my husband to know if any one of these watches are one of the ones he's looking for and I said no. But then they told me that they're going to they just opened and they haven't really opened officially. Like they just opened the store. So, they're tidying, putting things together, and they will open officially at I think about 10 or 11:00.

[00:30:26]I'm not sure cuz I was really early, guys. You guys saw that I left the house really early. So they told me to come back. So I had to leave. I went to another thrift store. To be honest, this place here, it did not look like a thrift store. It is a store where they sell other, you know, brand new items and stuff off. They also sell vintage bags. So I got in there and I was looking because the map told me this is the place. So I was looking and I couldn't find any, you know, designer vintage it. I had to ask one of the guys there and then he told me where to go.

[00:31:00]And as you can see, we're starting to see the vintage stuff of the bags. I think this store genuinely had more Louis Vuitton um stuff than anything else. But yeah, just a quick mirror selfie because why not? Or ot just showing you my outfit of the day. So I had to go upstairs to the, you know, place where they had all the designer bags. This store did not have a lot, but I mean they had a few and their price is actually good. I I would say the price is good. But to be honest, I wasn't looking to buy anything because mind you, my major reason for coming to Madrid was to go to Hermes. Hermes, I beg. I don't know, my pronunciation is not might not be correct, but I'm buying. Okay. Um, but yeah, so I came here and I saw different bags. I'm not a huge fan of Louis Vuitton because one, the logo. I'm not a big fan of so many logos on items and two is I'm boycotting um Louis Vuitton but then the Gucci bags I saw were really branded like brands everywhere and I also do not like you know even I like Gucci but not the really branded stuff.

And my reason for getting this Coach bag honestly was because the bag I was carrying, the um Gucci bag I carried for this trip or I took for this trip doesn't have a zipper. And when I was there, Andy was always telling me, "Be careful. Be careful. Your bag pick pockets is always in these big cities. Make sure you're careful." And I was just not relaxed.

[00:34:07]Okay? And the bag was full. So it it's easy for someone to just dip their hands inside and pick something. The bag was full. So I was a bit, you know, restless. So that's why I came to the store and see if I could get, you know, something. And I saw this Coach bag that I absolutely love. It's a vintage um vintage Coach. I've never seen this bag before, ever. So I honestly do not know.

[00:34:29]I asked the lady if she knows the name of the style. She said she doesn't. It is just so beautiful. never been honestly. And guys, the bag looks so clean like it's never been worn. It is absolutely stunning. People, a lot of people really take good care of their of their item because I don't think if I ever have to sell any of my bags, they will be in such impeccable condition, like stunning condition.

[00:38:00]And I think this bag was aboutund something. And I also got tax um tax back which is good. Most of the other vintage store I went to like the one the vintage store I just left the one with loads of Chanel bags and Hermes and all that did not do those um vintage stores don't do taxfree but this one does taxree which is really cool. So even though my tax was about €19 or so tax the taxree whatever the tax back was about €9 I you know I did appreciate it.

[00:38:39]And here I came back to the other store that said they are not open yet to come back. They have one downstairs and they have another one upstairs. So the one downstairs is for jewelries and the one upstairs is for ready to wear bags and the like. So I came to the one upstairs and you guys, I wasn't so impressed with this store, but I would say their price is not bad to be honest. I saw a few bags like this one from Valentino.

[00:39:08]That's nice. I don't know what's wrong with me lately. I've been so drawn to bags like this. Maybe because I'm a mom.

[00:39:14]And if you're an OG here, you would know. I never used to wear big bags. And then I saw this Bautga. I I'm not sure.

[00:39:22]Absolutely love it, but it's not my style anymore. I took a glance at, you know, the glasses section. That's a Jivoni bag right there. And this is a Gucci bag. Too small. Too small.

[00:39:33]Although I like this Gucci bag because the monogram the logo is not so pronounced.

[00:39:39]And then I saw these scarves. These are MS MS Emmes Emy's um scarves. I honestly wish I bought one of these because Anyway, so I saw the scarves, absolutely beautiful, but I'm like, hm, I would rather buy from the store to build my um spending whatever hopes of getting a bag in the future. So, I saw some Oruran sandals as well. This one looks really clean and I've been seeing the black on people lately and it is beautiful. So, I think my next um Oran sandals purchase will be a black sandals. And then this belt, guys, this is one of the reason I came to Madrid. I want to get this belt. This classic H belt. I saw this belt. I cannot remember how much it was going for, but you know, good price, probably good price, but the only thing that turned me off with this belt is the scratches on the hardware. And it is also not gold. Okay. I'm not sure if I can see it properly, but I think it wasn't gold cuz I wanted gold. If I had bought that, I probably would have also bought the gold cuz I'm I like gold.

[00:40:49]Silver is not bad, but I like gold.

[00:41:03]I also checked some scarves. They had some scarves there. And also this Coach bag. small, but you know, not bad. This is This is not bad to be honest.

[00:41:31]I would have gotten this dress, but sadly it wasn't in my size. And honestly, 99% of the ready toeares they have here were just big sizes and I'm like I was so so not happy. But yeah, I would have loved to get this dress because this dress was giving classy, elegant, and I like the pleing in the bottom or whatever they call those things. Um, yeah, I love it. So yeah, and that's when I decided to look at the glasses because I couldn't find any. Oh, another thing I like is this twopiece set. this silk twopiece set. Absolutely love it. Love it. I wish it was in my size because I probably would have got it. I probably would have got it. The lady was like, "You can try it because they honestly do not even have sizes on them." But she was like, "You can try it." But I mean, I can tell when I see something that will fit. I can tell it will fit. And this wasn't one of them.

[00:42:27]So, she was like, "You can go try. You can go to the fitting room and try." I was like, "Nah, not interested. Not going to try." But I did really really like this. Really really like this as well because again it is silk. I'm I love silk and it's not every time you see silk but I'm sure since I've started doing thrift shopping I'll probably be seeing a lot of silk because designer items most of the times they use good fabrics, they use silk, they use wool and all that. And then there's this Gucci jackets that honestly not my style. And this bag guys, this Dior bag.

[00:42:59]Oh. Oh, absolutely love it. Absolutely love it. But then again, wasn't planned, not in my budget, and I'm like, nah. But I do like this bag. Okay, I would rather get this Dior bag to the Louis Vuitton bag that looks like this. I don't know what they call it. Is it the tabby bag or No, it's not the tabby bag. But yeah, this is where I found the Louis V glasses. Absolutely love it. I asked her if I could try it and she said, "Yeah, why not?" But first, I asked at the price because, you know, that's the most important thing. So, I asked at the price. She told me the price. I tried it on, loved it. I think I called my husband and asked my husband if he liked it and he said it's really nice. So, I decided to get it. And it was 60 something I think. I'm not sure. You can pause to check the prices cuz I did film the prices. And then I saw this bucket art. I think I had a few bucket arts that I bought but never won. Or maybe one one or twi once or twice. I tried it on, I was like, "Nope, not me."

[00:44:05]I bought a Coach bag, which you guys probably saw, and I just bought a glasses.

[00:44:18]And yeah, I'm going to Hermes now.

[00:44:22]I'm going to Herman now. Um, yeah, I bought, to be honest, the reason I bought the the reason I bought the bag, the porch bag is because, yo, I was just hyper sensitive. I don't know if that's I was so worried.

[00:44:42]So freaking worried because I was like, "No, I think I'm going to get robbed." Pockets. So, I was so scared of pick pockets. That's why I got the bag cuz this bag has got a zipper and my Gucci bag that I took does not have a zipper and because it is so full I was just a bit worried I could get easily accessible.

[00:45:07]It could be easily accessible by picket.

[00:45:10]So yeah and you guys were finally at Hermes and I go inside was greeted nicely. She asked me what I wanted. I told her, she assigned me a sales assistant. And you guys, this place took my time because I waited for so freaking long. Waited so long. And then finally the sales assistant came to me and she asked me what I wanted. I told her and she said, "Oh, you cannot get the brown or sandals because it's a classic. You can't get any of the classic colors in store. You have to get them online." I was like, "What?" So I said, "Okay, what about the belt?" Which is the classic H belt. She said they don't have that in gold at the moment. They only have it in silver and I do not want it. So, because they didn't have the two most important things I wanted, I just thought to leave. So, I left. And she also recommend me going to the other store, the other Hermes store in Madrid. I didn't want to go, but when I spoke to Andy Andy was like, "You're already in Madrid. You're already, you know, there.

[00:46:15]Just go." So, I decided to go. sales assistant was not she wasn't the best to be honest. The sales assistant that attended to me in this store wasn't the best. She wasn't nice to Yeah, she wasn't really all that.

[00:47:06]And then the belt I want, they don't have it in gold, but I want it in gold.

[00:47:16]Anyway, so I think I'm going to go to the other branch in Spain. I'm not sure.

[00:47:25]But then again, if I have to wait for that long, I don't want to miss my train.
