Endometriosis pain often involves pelvic floor dysfunction, which can be addressed through heat, vibration therapy, and trigger point access, but red light therapy devices should not be marketed as cures for endometriosis itself; instead, they may help manage pain symptoms when used correctly under professional guidance from a pelvic floor physical therapist.

If you don’t understand endometriosis, it’s easy to see why you’d think she’s talking about usingAdded:
Would you believe me if I told you this could help you manage your endometriosis pain?
>> Can the light saber for your hoo-ha help manage your endometriosis pain? I'm going to answer that, but this girl's been getting a lot of hate. And there's some stuff we got to talk about in the endometriosis community.
>> This right here is the French light therapy wand. Red light and near infrared light are going to directly target the inflammation in your pelvis.
>> Okay, red light therapy can help with inflammation, but to say it directly targets the inflammation in your pelvis, I don't know that we really have any evidence to be able to say that clearly right now.
>> Now, there are two things that set this device apart from your average pelvic wand or your average red light device.
One is the blue light therapy, which is actually amazing for bacteria.
>> 10 out of 10, I hate that feature. Your vaginal ecology should be rich in lactobacillus organisms. Anything that disrupts those organisms from doing their job puts you at risk for bacterial vaginosis, yeast vaginitis, so >> The other thing is that this device has vibration therapy.
>> Heat, vibration therapy, and accessing trigger points, which this device could theoretically do, those can help endometriosis-related pain symptoms. Now, it's not the same thing as treating endometriosis, which she didn't say that it was treating endometriosis, but many women with endometriosis have pelvic floor dysfunction, and we go through excision surgery and our pain persists, and that can be due to pelvic floor dysfunction.
If you're going to use a device like this or any other device that's to access trigger points, you should be working with a pelvic floor physical therapist.
>> Whether you're dealing with a tight pelvic floor or a weak pelvic floor, this has a balancing effect.
>> I don't think so. I don't think it does.
Uh so, here's the thing. Most women with endometriosis, per what the pelvic PTs are telling me, have hypertonic, that is tight, pelvic floor muscles. To say that this device can help balance that, I don't know even know what that means, but without guidance from a pelvic PT, a professional, I don't think I don't think so. Trigger warning for self-harm, but we got to talk about something in the endometriosis community. Now, no shade to that creator cuz I do believe that she thought she found something that could be really helpful for the endometriosis community. And you know what? It might be. Is it worth the price point? I don't know. I don't know the manufacturing cost, but I would invest that in the public PT. That's what I would do if you have access to one. But here's the thing we got to talk about is that we know that 50 freaking percent of those with endometriosis have had thoughts about taking their own life.
And if you freaking know that and you work in endometriosis care or hating on people in the endometriosis community, you are contributing to mental health issues and self-harm. So, how dare you ever call yourself an advocate if you spend all your time hating on women who are finding solutions and sharing anything that might possibly help and they're doing it with good intentions.
There is a good way to come in and to help support them and help educate, but the way you're doing it is causing harm.
