When I was 28 years old, I was diagnosed with sacroiliac injury. I'd have two or three adjustments and around every four or five years I could feel that the SI joint would move. I'm 62 now, so a couple of years ago I started having a little bit more low back ache, muscular.
I have been an athlete most of my life since 14. I was playing pickleball and I went into spasm, referred pain from my low back into my gluteus. I was off for pickleball for almost four months. It's something I love, it's very social and I missed that part. Went to physio and in the meantime I was looking for a program that I could do at home. I found the program really informative. My pain went away fairly quickly within around eight weeks of the program starting and I was ready to get going to strengthen my lower back, stretch my hips. I'm a casual nurse and I did all my exercises on my lunch. Just came back from Southeast Asia. I was surprised that sitting on a plane for 16 and a half hours didn't elicit any increased pain.
So everything went away, I came back, I was a zero. Started playing pickleball.
My mobility on the court when I'm playing, I really feel that has improved a lot. I really enjoyed all the support from the coaches. Start the program right away. The longer you wait, the longer you have back pain. If you commit, then you'd see the results.
