Arabic verbs form the core of Arabic grammar through a derivation system that includes 18 verb forms, with 10 being most commonly used. Understanding this system allows learners to generate new vocabulary from the root system rather than memorizing individual words. Each verb form has a specific meaning and usage, making mastery of this derivation system essential for effective Arabic language learning.
