And Russell famously replied, "Not enough evidence." Not enough evidence. What kind of evidence counts? Would it be fire from heaven? I often ask my atheist friends who bring this up. I say, "Okay, suppose God does a miracle before you today. Something astounding and you're taken aback by it. You've You've lost your breath. You say, 'Wow, great. I I believe.' What happens tomorrow when you wake up and say, 'Did that really happen?' Or if you go home and you tell your wife, who's also an atheist, is she going to say, 'Well, that's nice. I mean, you you may think you had that experience, but really I didn't. So, God has to do it for me, too.' What about next week when the excitement kind of wears down a little bit and you start telling other people?

[00:00:50]Would God need to do it over and over again? Would he need to be the performing monkey to keep assuaging your doubts? Well, he could do something bigger. Why doesn't God write his name on the moon? Okay, he could. But if God did that 3,000 years ago, would people today hold that written nature of the moon up as proof or would they dismiss it as part of the natural world? Think about the resurrection of Jesus, who showed himself to disciples, who showed himself to other people. What kind of undoubtable sign do you think we can provide if they all get dismissed in this way?
