[00:17:08]I spent years trying to escape that woman's wickedness, while he found a way to stay inside it.

[00:17:31]The same dynamic, but a completely different level of consciousness.

[00:17:38]And for the first time, I saw my mother clearly.

[00:18:05]There are places in my life where I can now see how these dynamics continued to play out in more subtle ways, in more socially acceptable ways, but still rooted in the same misunderstanding of power.

[00:18:34]I saw the abuse of cosplay power.

[00:18:41]I adapted to it.

[00:18:43]I learned how to read it, anticipate it, survive it.

[00:18:51]But that was the first moment I saw it without adjusting myself to stay inside it.

[00:19:00]And once you see it that way, you do not participate the same way again.

[00:19:08]I had been liberated.
