How We Find Wholesale Inventory to Sell on eBay in 2026Added:
Okay, so I got this large box in the mail today. Uh, this is a a bulk order that I purchased. It's actually three different orders. A grand total of $1,115 that I paid for everything in this box.
I'm going to put it down.
Also, before we open this box, use a shipping box to ship, guys. This is like a moving box and not a heavy duty one at that. tape it up a lot better or use like a heavy duty box if you're shipping something heavy, especially if it's $1,000 plus in inventory. Okay, let's open up this box and see what's inside.
Oh, and then also when I'm done showing what's in this box at the end of today's video, I want to talk about how I find inventory like this because this isn't just a showand tell type reselling channel. I want to be open with the business. And at the end of today's video, we'll talk about how I found this inventory and how you can go find inventory to flip online for a profit yourselves. A lot of people, I think, are ready to start buying in bulk or buying wholesale or liquidation or, you know, just expanding their inventory, but they don't really know where to look. Also, I have no shoes on. Don't judge me. I'm at my house. Okay, let's open this box up. Here we go. What's inside the box?
All of this stuff will end up either on our whatnot show um which we are rally roots on whatnot. I'll put a link in the description of today's video. If you click on that link, you get $15 to spend if you've never used whatnot before. You doesn't even have to be in our stuff. Um but I'll put that link in the description of today's video and a link to our eBay store as well. So you'll have our whatnot link and our eBay store link. All of this stuff will end up either on whatnot or on eBay. And this is not just vintage t-shirts. I know there are some vintage t-shirts in here, but there's some other stuff, too. Some good eBay inventory. So, uh, but there are also some vintage t-shirts.
Here we go. The rock wrap tee. Nice.
Dwayne the Rock Johnson, future president of the United States.
All right, what do we got? Go ahead.
Make my night. This is a older one.
Looks like 70s. Go ahead, make my night like 80s7s or 80s t-shirt.
We've got a is that King Tuten Common? Is that who that is? This one looks um I would say probably 70s. Cool piece.
This is a size medium. Little NASCAR piece. Daryl Wal Trip. Medium. Size medium one. Ooh yeah.
Ultra rare size large changes tag cane.
Such a good one with the back. This is I think one of the best wrestling TE's on a changes tag. Dated 1998. And then another solid wrestling piece. Size extra large on this one. WCW NWO. And another one size large. This is actually a pretty expensive shirt I believe.
Impact Wrestling. And it's got the back hit on it as well. I think this is probably what, like over $100 T. I'd have to look it up, but I remember it being expensive. We've got a Jesus T.
This is a reprint, not the '9s one, but 2000's on the Delta Tag Lord's Gem.
Still good with the back hit. Um, that's still worth a a good amount of money, but not the '9s one. Whoa.
The North Face.
The Northace lined jacket.
Uh, Gortex. Nice. Gortex XCR.
The North Face. I think this one should have a liner in it, too. You know, I saw a comment on one of our videos the other day where someone was talking about how they don't sell uh winter stuff. It's like not not the season for it and winter stuff just isn't selling. And I was like, I guess that's true to an extent. Uh, but winter stuff sells for us year round because we list international shipping, like eBay's global shipping, international shipping.
Um, and it's always cold somewhere. So, we still list winter stuff all year round. Yeah. Northace Summit Series. It does have the liner built in as well that can come out and you could just wear the that like fleece liner. So, it's got it's like two jackets in one.
The fleece and the jacket. That's a good one. We got a couple hats. Little 90s Stone Cold Steve Austin camouflage hat.
And we have the King of the Ring WF King of the Ring snapback hat. Whoa.
Oh, that is so cool.
What is this? I don't know what year this would be. Maybe 70s. It's a kids snap button denim Levis's jacket with like this crazy embroidery on it. That's really cool. I've never seen a jacket like that. It's got a white tag or white tab. Ooh, there's a little packing here labeled Pokemon games. We'll save this. We'll save this one. I'll show that in a second. This feels like wool. What is this? Ah, nice little Pendleton blazer.
a beige Pendleton wool blazer. Stanley DeSantis license and dated pullover.
Nice fade. By the way, as I'm going through this inventory, if you have stuff like this that you want to sell in bulk, feel free to send us a message on Instagram or shoot us an email. That's my email address right there. You can just shoot us an email. And if you have stuff like this, we can work out a price. Shipping. I don't mind paying for the shipping label to get the stuff here. And if it all works out for everybody, we can make some money. You can make some money and get rid of stuff. I have no problem doing that. But it's got to be quality stuff like this.
Like this. Like this.
Sting.
Vintage. Sting. This one is 1999.
1999. Sting wrestling shirt.
There's a blue bag. What's in this blue bag?
Oh, it's bubble wrapped nicely.
We got Okay, we have a camera on top. Olympus. What model are you? Olympus SZ-10.
Olympus digital camera. Digital cameras sell great for us on eBay. And then we have two VHS tapes. Um, these are actually pretty rare. Nvaganza.
I'll pop up comp so you guys can see what these are worth. We have the Nick Stravaganza and then uh winds of change.
This one is in kind of rough condition, the outside packaging of it. Winds of change, but another pretty rare VHS tape. I think the tape itself looks pretty good. So again, some stuff for eBay, some stuff for whatnot.
Uh what is this? Carheart. Feels like Carheart.
It is.
Are you car? Yes, it is Carheart 4XL Carheart jacket.
It's probably an eBay item. Nice one.
These are definitely eBay items. We have some uh toner. One of my favorite things to sell actually on eBay. Some toner.
This is Are you HP toner? Yeah. HP 83A laser jet toner. This stuff is I call it black gold because it sells pretty much instantly for us. Um these will all three get listed together and they'll probably sell the same day. Wow, look at this jacket. Oh, it's Woolrich. Size small. Made in the USA. Small size, but wow, the colors on that. I thought it was Pendleton at first, but Woolrich still very, very nice. That is a beautiful jacket. I'll show the tag. So you can see it up close there. Beautiful colors on that. I like that. What else we got down here? I see a polo bear hat. This looks uh I don't know if this is real.
Polo, are you real?
I don't know if you're real. That bear looks What do you guys think? Does that bear look a little sus to you?
Or is that a dog? Is that a dog? Oh, it's a dog. It's not a bear. Polo bear.
It's a dog. I'm just stupid.
I think it's good. Polo dog, not polo bear. Whoa.
Alli.
>> Oh my god.
>> That's cool.
>> That is amazing.
>> P. I don't know what P is.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> Wow. It's a really like high quality.
>> Ally likes it.
>> It's so cool.
>> It's very nice. That's so cool.
>> Yeah.
>> So cool.
>> What else we got? Another t-shirt. Oh, InSync.
Winterland tag.
Vintage Insync World Tour t-shirt. I'm assuming this is going to be Lulu. Yeah, Lululemon.
Um, looks like a size probably a size small. We've got What is this?
I don't know what this is.
H something. I'm sure it's some like streetear brand.
Keeping it going. Just a nice little Ralph Lauren classic fit button up shirt or button down. Actually, button down.
You guys know the difference. What makes it a button down or a button up? If the collar buttons down, then it's a button-down shirt. That's what makes it a button down. Hope you learned something today.
Uh Zoic MSRP $95 mountain bike shorts brand new with tags. Little like Aviator Nation uh cut off. Uh little free people we the free like jeans. There's an item missing.
That's not good.
There's a really expensive t-shirt that he didn't put in here. Dang. I'm going to have to hit him up. It's a Pixie shirt. I'll pop up a picture of it.
There's a Pixie shirt that is not in this box. Um, let me open up these Pokemon games so you can see these, too.
Last thing in the box, we got Pokemon Sapphire and we've got Pokemon Yellow.
These will definitely be eBay items for both of those. Okay, let me uh let me figure out where the shirt is and then I'll tell you let's uh talk about how to find inventory >> tomorrow.
>> All right, so good news. I reached out to the seller who sold me that box of stuff and he said it was just a a mistake, which I get it. Mistakes happen. Uh that shirt, he wore it. He put it in his laundry and he ended up finding it in his laundry basket. So he said he's going to ship it out to me and there we go. It's just funny that it was like the most expensive shirt, but this is someone I've actually done other deals with in the past. I consider him a friend. Um, so I knew it wasn't anything like malicious. Um, and mistakes happen.
So, no big deal. I'll get the shirt and I'll have all of the inventory. I think it was a fairly good deal. Adding everything up, I think, you know, altogether probably like $2,200 to $2,300 worth of inventory that again I paid like $1,100 for. Um, assuming, you know, when you're doing deals like this, you do have to take into account your time, the time to get the stuff, the time to take pictures, the time to list the stuff, the time to deal with customer service, um, shipping the items out once it sells, and also having your money tied up until the item sells. So, all of that has to be taken into consideration. Some people might look at it and go, "Oh, you only paid him $1,100. It's $2,200 worth of stuff. Uh, you're only paying them 50%." But at the end of the day, I feel like 50% for that type of inventory, such a mixture of stuff. Um, I feel like 50% off the extra value is really good because after fees and shipping and everything, um, I might make 30%. Which is about where we kind of run our business. You know, we make 30 to 40% net profit on what we do. And that works for us. We're more volume sellers, so we sell a lot of stuff to make that 30 to 40%. Um, at the end of the year, if you know, let's say we sell a million dollars worth of stuff, 30% of that is 300,000, 40% of that is 400,000.
That's fine for us. That pays our bills and keeps us happy. It also helps us do stuff like this. We're currently building a barnaminium house, and uh this is where we are in the in the process right now. Uh we should be continuing on fairly soon with more building. But yeah, this is a construction site of our barnaminium house. I'll link a video showing you like the full uh tour of this, but yeah, we're currently under construction, but I promised at the beginning of today's video that I would talk about um how to find inventory like this. So, the main way now that we get this type of inventory is by just asking for it. So, we've built this social media presence.
And I think this is why it's so important if you are a reseller in 2026 to use social media and build a bit of a social media presence. Uh you don't have to do it exactly how we've done it. You can share what you want to share. You can share your daily experiences or you can just make an account where you're showing stuff that you that you want to purchase. Um but building a little social media accounts and following can help people realize the type of stuff that you want to buy. So build up a social media presence and then let people know, hey, we're buying stuff all the time. So if you are out at like the Goodwill bins, for example, we deal with a lot of people who shop at the Goodwill bins and then they'll save up a bunch of stuff and then they'll sell us the stuff that they find at the Goodwill bins.
Now, why would they do that opposed to just listing the stuff on eBay themselves? It's exactly what I just talked about, right? So instead of taking the time to wait for the money to come in and list all the items themselves and do all the work, they can just go and do the fun part, which is digging and finding cool stuff and then they flip the inventory straight to us and we do all the dirty work, all the hard work that isn't as fun as sourcing.
For a lot of people, sourcing is the fun part and listing and selling is the annoying part. So yeah. Um, and that's another way that you can find products is actually by going to your local Goodwill bins and connecting with other sellers there, making friends with them, and letting them know, hey, I have some free capital. If you have found a bunch of stuff at the Goodwill bins, this is the type of stuff that I buy, and I would be interested in buying in bulk from you. We've met a lot of sellers at the bins that we have bought in bulk from just because they know that we that we have the capital and we are willing to buy stuff from them in bulk. Um, like we don't have the time to go to the Goodwill bins every single day. So instead of us going to the bins every day, we have people who will be on the lookout for stuff that they know that we like to buy and then they'll, you know, lot up a bunch of stuff. Maybe they'll pick for a month or two and then they'll take all their stuff and then sell it to us. So that's an option. Another good way to find bulk inventory. Um, and I'm not talking about wholesale here. I'm not talking about wholesale or uh you know buying liquidation or buying from a distributor um like brand new product and then listing that product replenishable stuff. That's a completely different business. It's not that that type of business doesn't work. That type of business can be very very profitable.
And we've done deals in the past where we buy you know hundreds of units of like coffee machines and appliances and we've done wholesale in the past and it it is good. It can be good. We usually do that around like Christmas time where people are looking for gifts for people.
So, that model can be good. And how you find those suppliers is by reaching out to distributors or reaching out to brands directly. Um, but for the sake of this video and for most people watching our channel, I think that most people are one-off sellers. They're selling stuff that they find at estate sales and garage sales and they're looking for smaller bulk deals. when you buy wholesale or when you do like private label or you're importing stuff, you're talking about a very capital intense exercise doing that. So, you have to have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on product uh to hope that it sells and then put in the marketing to make sure that it does sell where I think most people watching this channel um they might have an extra 500 to a,000 bucks laying around and they're looking to make their you know first wholesale purchase or buy some additional inventory to add to what they're doing.
So, I'm trying to talk to you guys on how to find stuff. And another good way to find stuff like that would be Facebook Marketplace. Uh I all the time, you know, Facebook Marketplace is a place where usually resellers are listing stuff. So, if you see, if you go on Facebook Marketplace and you just look for the type of stuff that you like to sell, look on Facebook Marketplace, um reach out to those sellers and same thing. You you never know until you ask.
So reach out to them and say, "Hey, if you have extra inventory or if you want to sell in bulk, I have $1,000. I'm looking to purchase." Just start the conversation. And you never know where that's going to lead to. Sometimes we'll even say like, "Hey, even if it's not you, if it's not something that you want to do, if you know anybody who has like bulk items that they want to sell and they're willing to, you know, sell them for 50% margin or they're just looking to liquidate and get some extra cash, it's just talking to people. And that's really the the easiest way to get bulk inventory in my opinion outside of going to like storage unit auctions or um buying like that. The easiest way in my opinion is to make connections and talk to people. So that's what you have to do. Reach out to other resellers. Find people who, you know, we have a lot of people who they don't want to sell vintage t-shirts. They only sell electronics, but they come across vintage all the time. So they'll reach out to us and say, "Hey Ryan, I bought the storage unit and it's got a bunch of vintage t-shirts in it. I don't want to sell them. Is that something that you would want to purchase?" And because we've made those relationships in the past, we can say, "Yeah, we'll buy that stuff. Please, anytime you get it, reach out to us." So, there you go. There's a few ways. I hope that helps. Oh, that's a beautiful view with the portaotti in the background there. Like I said, I'm on a construction site.
Um, yeah, guys. I hope that this video helps some of you out. And feel free to leave questions and comments. And please don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
