Bill C-34, Canada's 'Safe Social Media Act,' mandates age verification for all social media users through government ID uploads, facial scans, and AI age estimation, effectively ending online anonymity and creating a comprehensive user database under the guise of protecting children. The legislation raises the minimum social media age to 16 and requires every user, including adults, to verify their identity, with vague categories like 'hatred' and 'incitement' potentially leading to over-censorship of lawful speech. This represents a significant shift toward government surveillance and digital control, raising concerns about privacy, free speech, and the potential for mass data collection that may not be deleted as promised.

Bill C-34: The End Of Anonymous Internet In Canada – What You NEED TO KNOW!!
Added:Last month, the Canadian government tabled another one of their so-called safe social media act bills, Bill C-34.
And if you value your privacy or your right to speak freely without Big Brother watching, you might want to pay close attention to this one. Because this isn't about keeping kids safe as they will try to tell you. This is about ending anonymity online and forcing ID checks on every single user. So, in this video, I'm going to break down exactly what this bill does, what you can do about it, and why it must be rejected.
In the name of protecting the children, the Carney government has tabled Bill C-34. It raises the minimum age for social media accounts to 16. And to keep anyone under 16 off of these platforms, every single user, including adults, has to have their age verified. That means government ID uploads, facial scans, and AI age estimation from your face, or whatever acceptable method their new digital safety commission decides. Yes, you heard that right, folks. No more anonymous scrolling, no more private thoughts online. Your life, your data, and your every post all tracked, traced, and databased under the warm, fuzzy banner of protecting the children.
>> [laughter] >> Won't somebody please please think of the children?
>> Folks, age verification only works if they build a database on the entire user base. The bill even admits it. They collect your data and then promise to delete it later. Yeah, cuz the government has such a great track record of keeping their promises on data privacy, don't they? This is the same crew that's been pushing digital IDs, vaccine passports, and every other tool to track and control you. Well, now they're coming for your online voice.
They're reviving the spirit of the old online harms act that died once before when government was prorogued. Now, it's back with AI thrown in for good measure.
Vague categories like hatred, incitement, and terrorist content mean platforms will over censor lawful speech just to avoid the hammer. Anonymity dies at the sign up screen and their only safeguard is a pinky promise to delete the data later. This is full-blown digital control. This is about turning the open internet into a monitored, age-gated, censorship, surveillance grid. It's all about ending anonymous descent, tracking every Canadian online, and giving the government and their big tech partners the tools to decide what you can see and say. How many times are we going to fall for the think of the children routine while they strip our freedoms away?
>> Won't somebody, please, think of the children?
>> So, the big question now is what the heck are we going to do about this?
Well, I want to get into that, but just before I do real quick, I want to tell you about this shocking news from Canada. The innovative tech company Equibit was on the verge of disrupting a $10 billion securities industry when it was targeted and destroyed. Founder Chris Horlacher says critical tech was stolen. They tried to frame him for fraud and CSIS harassment nearly crushed everything. Well, now he's fighting back major lawsuit against CSIS and others to expose the truth and defend the rule of law. Don't let government sabotage kill innovation. This could happen to any entrepreneur. A fake.net website was created for damage control and a second fake site was created by the same person. So, make sure you visit the real site at equibitlawsuit.com.
To learn more about this, watch my exclusive interview The Assassination of Equibit Revealed by Insider Who's Suing Cesis and the follow-up They Stole His Tech and Tried to Frame Him: The Shocking Equibit Scandal Revealed. All right, guys. So, what do we do about Bill C-34? Well, the simple answer is don't comply. Opt out of every single biometric or ID check they throw at you.
Support platforms and businesses that push back against this and boycott the ones that roll over. Use cash as much as you can and get rid of your smartphone if you have to because mass non-compliance is the only language these tyrants understand. So, this is your wake-up call. They're not protecting children. They're grooming the next generation for a life under total digital control. Free speech, privacy, and the open internet are all on the chopping block. So, if you're ready to reject this Canadian chapter of the digital prison, let me know in the comment section below. Support independent voices like Press For Truth because the legacy media won't touch this truthfully. They're too busy parroting the government line. Please like and subscribe if you're standing up for truth and share this video far and wide because nothing is ever going to change unless there's enough people who know there's a problem in the first place. So, that's all for today, guys. I just wanted to bring that to your attention. Thank you so much for watching. As always, stay vigilant, keep fighting the good fight, and stay tuned.
I'm going to have more video reports coming soon, God willing. This is Dan Dicks reporting for Press For Truth.
We all want truth.
