I Put 15 $SOL Into This Insane Platform (Making $212/Day)

[00:00:00]So, this isn't clickbait. I actually invested 15 Solana into this project and it's making me about $212 per day.

[00:00:09]Let's break it down. I feel like it's important to preface this by saying don't blindly invest more than you can afford to lose because the most important thing in crypto overall risk management and protecting your investments. With that being said, I'm Tony aka Inspector. Welcome back to the Mind Blow Show and this is the mushroom farm. The mushroom farm on Solana.

[00:00:31]Fairly new project, less than 1,000 followers on X. Obviously high risk and also high reward. About a 5-day ROI return of investment with almost 400 Solana locked right now where the founders don't have access to this. So, how does this work in reality where you Well, you're getting a 9% daily yield [music] based on how much you invest. As I said in the intro, as it shows in the title as well, I have invested 15 Solana. This is actually factual. So, I invested 15 Solana into this, planted 15 shrooms.

[00:01:04]Currently I have 4.3 or 4.03 Solana ready to harvest. I'm not going to do that because you do get certain penalties when harvesting. So, I'm going to do that when I get my return of investment. Now, one thing I will do actually in this video, I will reinvest $400 more into this. But, one more thing I do want to say before we continue going with this is this video is not sponsored. I replied to a few of their comments on X, a few of their posts on X and they said, "We noticed you showed interest in working with us on content.

[00:01:41]Well, they decided to go with officially and they said, "We're a small group of guys trying to revive the old vibes of the OG Baked Beans. We've seen too many rugs, too much deception in the space.

[00:01:52]So, we're doing our best to do things right based on the blockchain." The way they do this is right here. Once V4 is fully battle tested, they're renouncing any authority over the program. No one, including them, will be able to ever modify the smart contract again. The code becomes permanent and immutable on chain. So, we won't have to trust them.

[00:02:11]The math is just locked in forever. So, that's obviously one of the reasons why I decided to invest 15 Solana into this.

[00:02:18]And of course, the V4 update did happen some 10 days ago. So, basically no admin keys, no upgrades, no backdoors. This amount right here is kind of permanently locked towards the smart contract and it goes back to the people. This amount can go up, it can go down. Obviously we want to see it go up. But, as people are taking their Solana out, it's also going to go down. They have full documentation explaining all of this, all the bonding curves, all the compounding stuff. But, basically it's very simple. You put in your amount of Solana and you plant the shroom. Why am I explaining this? Let me just do it.

[00:02:50]All right, I got Yeah. My antivirus doesn't really like crypto websites looks like. I got 400 USDC here. We're going to convert it into 4.5 Solana. We're going to go back to the website. We're going to type in 4.5 Solana. Going to get some shrooms in return. I'm going to plant them.

We never know what can happen with projects like this. What if everybody decides to go out? Well, this goes to zero. So, just be careful. Don't over invest and that's all I can say. It's totally up to you what you do with the rest. I'm doing with my money what I want. You do with your money what you want. I'm just here to report on what's out there. And this for me is actually extremely fun. So, I will do 4.5 more. This is exciting. All right, planting. Then we're going to go to grow and harvest to explain those parts as well. And I'm curious to see what my daily Solana yield is going to be now after another 400 bucks.

[00:03:52]Currently I have 4.4 Solana to withdraw.

[00:03:55]I'm not going to do it yet until I get my initial investment back. Oh boy, I got the Cosmic Overlord card. Don't mind if I do. Let me download that. That looks sweet. Once we go to grow, my projected daily earnings now are 3.34 Solana. So, that's even more than what I said in the title. 3.34 * 88.25 bucks, which is the current price of Solana, is almost 300 bucks per day. That amount is going to go down obviously. Now, here's the thing, the compounding, the grace period. Every 8 hours you will have the opportunity to compound. Whatever you have gotten, you can put back into it.

[00:04:27]And with each day of compounding or well, 8 hours three times per day, you will get a multiplier on the yield. So, it's not going to be 9% anymore, but 0.5% more on day one, 1.5% on day two, 3% on day three and so on until you get to 10% on day seven and more, day six and more.

[00:04:51]My personal strategy, I'm not going to do any more compounding. I'm done with compounding. I want to get my return of investment back just so I'm on the safe side. And then whatever happens, I'm good. I took my investment out. And then anything I get on top of this is just extra bonus, free money. I'm I'm in. I'm I'm for it, you know. That's just my personal strategy. Of course, you can do your strategy however you want to do your strategy. But, once you're ready to harvest, you just click harvest. I'm not going to do it now. As I said, there is sort of a penalty for it. If we go to the documentation, I'm sure we can find out exactly what it is also. Oh, there we go. The rapid harvest tax. To discourage rapid withdrawals to deplete the pool, a sliding tax applies if you harvest more than once in a 48-hour window. So, if you harvest the first time, there's 0% tax. If you harvest the second time within 48 hours, there's a 5% tax up until a 15% tax on four time harvesting in a 2-day period. So, I guess if I harvest this now, nothing would happen. But, I don't necessarily need to harvest this now. I can just chill. There's another early harvest fee. So, to protect the pool from rapid deposit and withdrawal cycles as well.

[00:05:56]And I am inside of this grace period now because I started a couple days back. I have compounded a few times. I'm on day three almost. So, in the first 7 days, the fee starts at 5% and the case to linearly to 0% over the 7-day window.

[00:06:11]So, right now I'm still in the 5% range because after day 3.5, which I'm not there quite yet, then I'm going to be at the 2.5% fee. And finally day 7 plus is going to be 0% fee. More fees include the 5% deposit fee, 5% compounds fee, and 5% harvest fee, which is totally fine considering they cannot run off with this total locked amount. The developers need to earn their fair share for making all of this possible for us.

[00:06:37]So, totally fine 5%. I have absolutely no problem with that. So, all of this is great. Now, how does the spore production work? I want to get into this a little bit more from the documentation, not just to explain to you, but to better understand it myself as well. Don't get it wrong. This is very much gamba.

[00:06:54]>> [laughter] >> It's very risky, very much gamba. But, man, gamba's fun. That gamba's fun that's what we're here for. So, to acquire the spores, each user's shroom position produces spores continuously at a flat rate. Okay, we knew that. Spores are the intermediate unit that represents the yield. They must be sold through the bonding curve that happens when you harvest or they can be converted into shrooms if you compound, which is what it what I did a couple times. So, I have 127 shrooms because of my compounding. So, my position is higher than what I have invested because I compounded a few times. Right, so how does the bonding curve actually work?

[00:07:28]The bonding curve is a constant product AMM. The price of spores into Solana What does that mean?

[00:07:35]Let's ask Claude. Explain this to me in simple terms. Look at how much text this is. How is this simple, Claude? How how is this simple? Ah, there we go. The TLDR. It's a self-regulating price engine where early players get better rates and the more the market is used, the lower the returns become over time.

[00:07:55]Well, that makes sense. There you go.

[00:07:56]So, basically as more people come in, as more people put Solana inside of this total value locked, as more people harvest the Solana out, your position will grow weaker. So, I'm at 3.34 Solana per day right now. But, eventually over the course of the next 7 days, this may go down to 2.3 Solana or 2.1 Solana. I'm unsure. But, by then I should have already gotten my money back, my made my ROI, and I have pure profits left.

[00:08:22]That's the idea at least. If you want to get into this, I can't stress this enough. This is very risky. I said it so many times already. You get the point.

[00:08:30]But, overall, it's just a cool project.

[00:08:32]Things like this are the reason why I got into DeFi in the first place. Something that's exciting, that's risky, where I get fast ROI. I understand the concept behind it.

[00:08:43]And it's a cool little thing to get get their community around, make a little cult around it, you know? That like how they do it in crypto. They don't have their own coin. They do things interestingly through the bonding curve where they have the spores that convert into Solana. All that is exciting to me.

[00:08:59]They made it very interesting with the compounding. So, as long as this project remains active for the next couple of days, I will have made my money back.
