The New iPhone 18 Is Made By Samsung! ft. *Upcoming Smartphones*Added:
[clears throat] >> So, there is an announcement to make.
There will be no iPhone 18 this year. I repeat, no iPhone 18 this year. Instead, you will see this maroon iPhone 18 Pro.
And this year's iPhone are mostly made by Samsung. There's also a rumored iPhone Fold. Again, a display made by Samsung. And a secret secret Apple device. So, in short, the month of May is about to end and honestly, it was and is really hot, both in terms of weather and launches as well. We had two shows from Google, the Android IO and the Google IO. And honestly, it was the biggest update in Android, in fact, [music] even in AI. Like lots of promises were there and lots of >> Gemini >> Gemini era >> Gemini intelligence >> In fact, they even used an iPhone for a feature demo at Google IO, not a Pixel.
Because Siri in the future is going to be powered by Google Gemini. Like, the collaboration we didn't expect neither wanted. Also, June has some interesting devices coming up. We have budget phones, phones, flagship phones. Along with this, there are also leaks of ChatGPT making a phone. Like, what?
What?
Plus, this video is where we'll answer all your questions. This is Tech Wyse Q&A part three. I'm really excited.
Let's go. Now, before we get to iPhone 18 and ChatGPT phone, let's first talk about some regular smartphones that are launching very soon. The first phone on the list is Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus.
And this is interesting because up until now, the Edge series only had Fusion, regular, and Pro. But this time, Motorola is also bringing a Pro Plus variant. Now, as per the leaks, it's launching on 4th June. Now, in terms of specs, as per rumors, the Edge 70 Pro Plus could come with a similar processor as the Edge 70 Pro. You'll get a 6.18-in display along with a triple camera setup. It will have a telephoto camera, and there will also be support for wireless charging. And if you see the specs, it feels like a slight bumped-up version of Motorola Edge 70 Pro. I feel Motorola in 2026 is what Redmi and Realme was in 2020. Like, they are launching phones with an insane pace.
Now, in terms of pricing, as per rumors, it might be priced around 50,000 rupees and >> [music] >> that, my friend, is a very high price.
Next up in the list, we have a budget phone, the iQOO Z11. Now, the Z series of iQOO is known for giving good specs at an affordable price. Now, the Z11 has already launched in China and in India, it's going to launch around 2nd week of June. Now, the specs are there for the Chinese variant. It comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 6.83-in 165 Hz display and a 50 MP main camera.
Now, the biggest highlight in iQOO Z11 [music] could be the 9,020 mAh battery. And currently, if you see in the budget and mid-range segment, since smartphone makers cannot maximize on processor, RAM and all of that due to price hike, they're just battery maxing. Like, you'll see 8,000, 9,000. We've also seen 10,000. I'm waiting for 15,000 battery.
And all of this just makes power banks the most useless gadget in 2026.
Now, in terms of pricing, the leak suggests that the iQOO Z11 might launch under 30,000 rupees. Now, next up in the list is Xiaomi 17T. Usually, Xiaomi's T series are meant for China and European markets, but after 4 years, Xiaomi is bringing the T series in India. So, the T series is basically what FE series is for Vivo and Samsung. Like, you get flagship specs with cutting down on build and camera to get you the affordable flagship price. Now, Xiaomi has announced that the Xiaomi 17T will be launching on 4th June in India. The Xiaomi 17T [music] might come with a 6.59-in display, 50 MP triple camera and it will have a periscope camera along with like a collaboration. You'll get a 6,500 mAh battery and Dimensity 8500 [music] Ultra chipset. Now, in terms of pricing, there are two different kind of leaks. One suggests that it might be priced around 80,000 rupees, which is very high, but there are also leaks suggesting that it could be priced around 60,000 rupees.
60,000, it would be a banger pricing.
Now, next up, we have some early leaks for the Galaxy S27 Ultra and honestly, Samsung might finally change the Ultra design completely this [music] time. As per for leak design renders, the phone now might have a new horizontal camera layout. Looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9 design. The S27 Ultra might have a new 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP6 main sensor. Also, Samsung might upgrade the ultra wide angle and selfie cameras this time. And if you look at [clears throat] the render properly, you'll notice that there are only three cameras, which basically means Samsung might remove the 3S telephoto lens completely this time. Apart from that, the phone is expected to come with LPDDR6 RAM, UFS 5.0 storage, along with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Plus, you could also get a slightly bigger battery around 6,000 mAh. The Ultra series might finally see a lot of changes this time. But again, there are no rumors about the pricing and these are very early [music] leaks.
Next up, this is probably the most interesting leak in this entire list because as per the latest report, OpenAI is apparently working on its own smartphone. Yes, the same company behind ChatGPT. And honestly, this could change completely the way we use our smartphones. So currently, if you imagine your phone as a tool, and if you want to just order food, you go there and open Zomato. And if you want to book a cab, you just go there and open Uber.
If you want to edit your photos or take a picture, you open gallery or Canva.
But this ChatGPT phone could change that thing. OpenAI wants to change the way we use our smartphones. It wants to build an intelligent system. So the idea here is, instead of opening different apps, you simply tell your phone what you want to do and the AI agent on the background handles everything. Like imagine saying this, "Book me a cab to my office and order chai while I reach office." And then your phone figures out which app to click on, what to order, what is the address, and does all of this automatically. Could be insane. Now, in terms of specs, it is rumored to come with a MediaTek chip paired with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage. Also, the leak suggests that it might have a dual NPU setup for stronger AI performance and is also expected to come with stronger security features as well. And Luxshare, which already works with Apple's supply chain, is apparently handling the manufacturing of ChatGPT smartphone.
Now, you should take this rumor with a pinch of salt because OpenAI has always been rumored to launch a hardware device. Jony Ive is the person who's working behind designing this hardware device for ChatGPT. And in case you don't know, Jony Ive is the same person who designed the iPhone and iPad for Apple. But, this ChatGPT device just keeps on delaying, delaying. Now, it's going to launch maybe in 2027. And going by Jony Ive's current Ferrari design, I hope they don't mess up the ChatGPT phone.
So, overall, this ChatGPT phone feels like a Rabbit R1, but in a much more practical and a smartphone form factor.
Now, finally, we have multiple leaks from Apple. First of all, the WWDC is happening on 8th June, where Apple will launch the iOS 27. And the biggest highlight of this iOS version is a completely new version of Siri. And this time, Siri could become more than just a voice assistant. It will be a system-wide AI agent. It might also get a dedicated app across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Now, there are some renders of the new Siri app in iOS 27. So, Siri will be like a bubble popping out of the Dynamic Island. The Siri app will have hint of liquid glass design. Note that these are just created renders, not original leaked images. And that reminds me of a very interesting thing that happened at the latest Google I/O. A Google executive was using an iPhone for a Gemini demonstration. Again, Google is a services company, but I felt there should have been a Pixel phone there instead of iPhone. But again, this could also be a hint of the upcoming collaboration of Apple x Google for the new Siri. Now, with that out of the way, there are also leaks for the iPhone 18 series. As we know, [music] there is no base iPhone 18 launching this year. It will only be iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Fold, or iPhone Ultra, whatever they call it. 2027 onwards, they'll launch the iPhone in two phases.
First half will be for the base iPhone and iPhone 18 [music] E series, the affordable launch. And then later half of the year, we'll get the iPhone Pros and iPhone Foldable, the [music] Ultra or Pro launch. So, if you're out there saving money for the base iPhone 18 this year, congrats. You have six more months now.
Now, for the iPhone Pro series, it's expected to come with the latest Apple's new A20 Pro chipset built on a 2 nanometer TSMC process. Now, where it gets really interesting is the cameras on the iPhone 18 Pro. Apple might finally move away from Sony camera sensors to Samsung due to better technology. And this way from RAM to display to camera, your new iPhone 18 Pro will be built by Samsung. Also, it is rumored that the iPhone 18 Pro camera will have a variable aperture. Usually, you see this tech in camera lenses.
Also, Xiaomi and Samsung previously launched their flagship with variable aperture, but somehow it got killed.
Now, this variable aperture could solve a couple of problems in smartphone camera. You can control the amount of light that gets inside the sensor, but let's see what other features Apple unlocks with this in the iPhone 18 Pro.
Now, in terms of pricing, this is the biggest >> [music] >> leak or relief, I might say. Apple might not increase the price of the iPhones this year. So, the iPhone 18 Pro will launch at the same price of 1 lakh 34,990, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max will launch for the same price as last year, 1 lakh 49,900.
And [music] of course, the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra will breach 2 lakh rupees. Now, apart from the iPhone 18 series themselves, there are rumors about Apple bringing Apple Pay to India.
Now, currently Apple is in discussions with Indian banks to bring Apple Pay to India, but the biggest obstacle is commission structure. Apple obviously wants a bigger commission in every transaction that they do, and Indian banks on the other hand feel that the commission is too high than what they usually pay. So, the question is, would you drop off GPay, PhonePe, Cred, and switch to Apple Pay?
And lastly, we have the weirdest Apple leak. [music] There are AirPods Pro with built-in cameras or IR sensors. Apple has recently filed a patent for this.
Now, from the patent data, what we can understand is the camera or IR sensors on the AirPods Pro are used to detect objects and surroundings. Now, in terms of usability, there are two kinds of rumors. On one hand, it suggests that [music] they can be used to improve only spatial audio, but on the other hand, and this one's crazy, the sensors on the AirPods Pro could be used to detect [music] and read your hand movements and gestures, and you can control your Apple devices manually.
Damn, [music] that would be crazy. Now, design-wise they are expected to look similar to any other AirPods Pro just with slightly longer stems. Now, I see that Apple is quietly trying to make AirPods Pro more than just an audio device. Like last year, it was fitness and now you have IR sensors. But, yeah.
Honestly, this feels very futuristic.
Okay. Q&A time. So, for that price, it's actually a steal deal. Simply get it.
Next up. Ooh, that's a very interesting question. See, here's how I see it. If I can explain it to you in 60 seconds, no matter the topic, I'll do shorts. I don't want to drag, put emotion, stretch the video to 3 to 4 minutes. I think people's BS meters are quite high. Not now, but maybe later they'll just avoid those 2-3 minute long videos. Our long videos minimum take 3 to 4 days, some 10 to 15 days, or even a month. So, if you have enough data to make 10 to 12 minutes video, then it goes for a long video, else no, not doing it. Like there's an investigative video that we are working on and that will take months, or will just simply get scrapped if we don't find good enough evidence.
Ooh.
The X200 FE for 38,000. Let us know where that deal is. Damn. For the price deal that you have mentioned, the X200 FE is a much better deal. Up next.
Ah, sadly Google might not be launching the Fitbit Air in India. I might get one, but let me know if you still want that video. So, the name TechWiser, that I'll let Mr. Nall answer sometime. But, on my desk right now, wait, let me show you. So, on my desk right now, I have I have a bunch of things which are under embargo. But, the oldest thing that you will see on my desk is this USB-C Pixel Buds. So, in case you don't know, in 2020, those were the golden times when you used to get buds inside the phone box. And fun fact, this was the first wired earphones where you could just use Google Assistant without touching your phone. And I started using wired earphones since this video and I feel wired earphones are so back.
In case of Xiaomi 15, it's mostly out of stock, at least for us. And if you don't know, Xiaomi sells flagship phones in very limited numbers. So, if you can find the Xiaomi 15 for 50,000, good deal. Else, I don't know. It still shows 80,000 rupees. Why would you get it?
Now, with all of that, the upcoming launches are crazy. And what is also driving people crazier smartphone prices. Just like petrol, smartphone prices have also gotten a hike this month. Here is the list of smartphones with a price hike. You can pause the video and see the list. There is for OnePlus, Realme, and even for Vivo and all the brands. And [music] with that, our list of upcoming smartphones come to an end. Personally, I'm very excited for the ChatGPT phone [music] and the AirPods. Let us know which upcoming devices are you looking for. On that note, this is me signing off. See you in the next video. Pew, pew. Pew.
