[00:26:28]And we want to tell an unsaved tonight the real reason why we're here. That Jesus Christ is indeed a deliverer and he is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Let me greet my good good neighbors.

And it is our prayer and our hope that you will surrender to the deliverer and the king tonight. Amen.

[01:22:30]Praise the Lord. My brothers and sisters, without further ado, um we'll be jumping into the word of God and we'll be reading from the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew chapter 14 and I'll be reading from verse 22 through to 33.

[01:23:15]I pray that tonight you will also receive your word.

[01:23:42]I'll be reading from the NIV version.

[01:23:44]Please follow as I read. And it says, "Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd."

[01:24:01]After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.

[01:24:11]Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them, "Take courage. It is I.

[01:24:55]Don't be afraid.

[01:24:59]Lord, if it's you, Peter replied, tell me to come out to you on the water.

[01:25:06]Come, he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.

[01:25:16]But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me." Immediately, Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.

[01:25:35]"You of little faith," he said. Why did you doubt? And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 and last. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, truly you are the son of God. This is a reading of God's holy word. And we honor God's reading by saying, "Amen."

[01:26:04]>> Bow your heads with me everybody before you be seated. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your word tonight. Father, we ask oh God that your people will hear you and not me at this moment. I pray in the name of Jesus, Lord, that your word will go forth with clarity and power and may signs and wonders follow the proclamation of your word in Jesus's name. Lord, somebody is in need of your word tonight. The break will reach them and change their lives in the name of Jesus Christ we pray.

[01:26:48]Brothers and sisters, to pay much respect to your theme that you will be under throughout this crusade, I want to share on a little topic with us tonight.

[01:27:03]A topic of declaration.

[01:27:06]I am stepping out in Jesus name. Amen.

[01:27:22]>> Somebody praise the Lord.

[01:27:25]>> It's a privilege to be the one or the ram in the ticket to open your crusade tonight. Let us see how God will start this movement. My brothers and sisters, we are now in the book of Matthew, the Gospel of Matthew. And specifically, we are focusing tonight on the chapter of chapter 14. And that's the same chapter you find where John the Baptist was beheaded.

[01:28:04]And that's the same chapter you find where Jesus fed the 5,000.

[01:28:11]>> We want to pause there for a while, my brothers and sisters, because it was right before this boat and water experience.

[01:28:22]We recognize that Jesus, the same Lord and Savior, was the one who miraculously fed the multitude.

[01:28:34]After what seemed impossible, Jesus made it possible. And my brothers and sisters, what I love about Jesus is that in every situation that us as humanity perceive as unusual or unbelievable, Jesus is able to make it happen.

[01:28:58]>> And I don't know who I'm talking to tonight. Maybe you are at a rough part in your life or some would say a rough patch and you don't know how to get out of it. You try hard to come out of it, but nothing that you tried to do. It's not working. Oh, my brothers and sisters, I'm here to tell you tonight that now is a good time for you to try Jesus. Somebody praise the Lord.

[01:29:26]Oh, my brothers and sisters, we see that right after the 5,000 that Jesus fed, we recognize that Jesus uh immediately made the disciples get into the boat >> and go on ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed himself from the crowd. Oh my brothers and sisters, after he had dismissed the crowd, uh he went up on a mountain side, the Bible says, uh by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone. And the boat, the Bible declares, was uh already a considerable distance away from land, which means uh this boat was well off into the deep bishop. Oh, my brothers and sisters, uh the Bible says that the waves uh was up against the boat and the wind uh was driving the boat crazy. Oh, my brothers and sisters, what we want to pull out from this passage tonight uh is to let us know that the presence of Jesus uh is always in the midst of our trouble. Somebody go ahead and praise the Lord. The presence of our Lord and Savior is always in the midst of our trouble.

[01:30:49]>> So, let me take my time, my brothers and sisters, and see how best I can lay the foundation here. Oh, the question that I want to ask tonight is what lessons can we learn about Jesus's presence in the midst of our trouble? amidst our trouble. My brothers and sisters, uh we can firstly know that his presence can be perceived as unusual.

[01:31:14]Oh, verse 25 to 26 declares uh shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them uh walking on the lake. Uh when the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified.

[01:31:30]It's a ghost they said and cried out in fear. Oh my brothers and sisters, I believe uh that Jesus himself uh would have done this on purpose. Oh yes. Uh Jesus would have spitefully made his disciples uh to go on ahead of him while he separated himself uh oh God for a time to pray. of God. The Bible says uh that he allowed them to go on ahead of him. I can just imagine when the journey just started. There was no wind. There was no boisterous waves. Uh the journey looked as if it was going to be a very good journey. Oh God almighty. Can I tell you my brothers and sisters that walk this passage remind me of Bishop.

[01:32:23]It remind me of life.

[01:32:25]Oh my god almighty we just life everything seem easy and composite everything nice and in order sometimes at some particular time we recognize that out of nowhere we start blow and wind start we recognize out of nowhere chaos What's happening? Oh my brothers and sisters, this was what the disciples were about to experience.

[01:33:04]The journey started off good. But here comes out of nowhere.

[01:33:11]Wind and waves. Here comes out of nowhere storms rise. Can I take my time to tell somebody that this is how life is?

[01:33:24]Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's hard. Oh my brothers and sisters, the Bible declares that when the disciples saw Jesus walking out uned, can I tell somebody that this was the first time that the disciples saw Jesus in this manner?

[01:34:01]wait for me. It was the first time that the disciples saw the man walking and saw him that was not me to walk.

[01:34:17]Oh my God, I feel his word. Oh my brothers and sisters, I am here with a word for somebody tonight. You may be in a situation.

[01:34:30]You might be caugh up. You in trouble.

[01:34:34]You don't know where to turn. You don't know where to go. You have nobody to call. Who you wish to call is in that boat with you. Who you wish to reach out to? It's called a star, but I see Jesus coming to see somebody tonight.

[01:35:00]Somebody lift your hands and say Jesus.

[01:35:09]Somebody go ahead and praise the Lord.

[01:35:11]My brothers and sisters, what we recognize from this verse is that the disciples uh saw the presence of Jesus as unusual, >> something that they have never seen before. Oh my God almighty. Oh my brothers and sisters, uh what I love about this text is that the same disciplesh who were spending time with Jesus were not able to see him for who he is in that moment. Oh my brothers and sisters, what we want to pay attention to is the time that this was happening.

[01:35:54]This was before dawn which means it was dark like a dungeon coming.

[01:36:04]It was dark and they couldn't see this man called Jesus. All they saw was a silhouette walking on the water. I don't know who is going through tonight in your night season. The time is dark and you can't see. You're in the darkest time of your life. I don't know who I'm talking to.

[01:36:32]You are isolated from the world. The time is so dark.

[01:36:39]They can't see your tears. The time is so dark. They can't see you morning. But I could tell somebody we might sisters You want the nuclear almost the battle is almost but I have a feeling in my eyes the best.

[01:37:31]Oh my god. I'll be going for the best when I walk through the time but I answer my I pro I I feeling in my eyes the best is yet to come in Exodus 3 verse 23.

[01:38:20]He declares that the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire, it did not burn up. So Moses thought, I will go and see this strange sight.

[01:38:47]I am here to tell somebody that Jesus is in your corner. You just want to perceive it. Jesus is right here in the midst of your stand on your feet.

[01:39:08]Jesus and praise him.

[01:39:22]Hallelujah.

[01:39:33]We don't reach anywhere.

[01:39:36]>> Oh my brothers and sisters. So >> his presence >> seemed unusual.

[01:39:45]>> Oh God almighty.

[01:39:47]>> They were not used to >> this level of showing up.

[01:39:54]>> Oh my God almighty. And then they could not believe because the last time when they were in the boat storm started, oh God, the same man called Jesus was in the ser. Jesus was in the presence of them. Now this time they were all by themselves.

[01:40:13]Oh God almighty. And Jesus was nowhere to be. Jesus was on land and they were in the sea. Oh my God almighty. I don't want to walk into the deep. The wheels are dashing. The bills are raring.

[01:40:34]Stay out in search of a reason for that you will find it in the eyes of the storm. Oh my god.

[01:41:20]Go ahead.

[01:41:21]>> So amidst our trouble, his presence can be perceived as unusual.

[01:41:27]>> But also his presence comes with assurance.

[01:41:32]>> Hear the text in verse 27.

[01:41:35]But Jesus immediately said to them, >> "Take courage.

[01:41:43]>> It is I."

[01:41:44]>> Yes, sir.

[01:41:45]>> Not afraid.

[01:41:46]>> Don't be >> afraid. afraid.

[01:41:50]Oh my God almighty.

[01:41:53]Courage.

[01:41:56]It is I.

[01:41:58]Don't be afraid. Oh my brothers and sisters. So right after the disciplesh got terrified.

[01:42:08]Right after Jesus showed up to them as a ghost. Clearly the Bible declares that Jesus said to them, Lord God Almighty take courage.

[01:42:20]It is I. Oh, what I love about Jesus, my brothers and sisters, is that the moment he detect fear inside of you, he's willing and ready to calm you down, he's willing and ready to settle your soul.

[01:42:40]Oh tonight, but you are living in fear for your life. You are looking over your shoulder. Everywhere you turn, looking behind you as if somebody is walking on you, I am talking to somebody who is experiencing.

[01:43:05]And I know my spirit will feel something watching you. I am the earth for it because the Lord our host is strong and mighty.

[01:43:32]Somebody go ahead and praise him. Somebody go ahead and praise him. Oh my god.

[01:43:49]Now my brothers and sisters after Jesus said take me he said is I it is I what is that in the old testament when Moses asked him who should I go tell me God declares tell them that I I am. Thank you. You want Jesus in the testament? courage in his eyes again I know.

[01:45:08]>> Somebody go ahead and magnify him.

[01:45:20]>> His presence >> comes with assurance.

[01:45:48]amidst our troubled brothers and sisters. His presence is not only oh perceive as unusual sometimes but his presence stimulates boldness.

[01:46:05]>> You what? Oh God almighty. Verse 28 to 29 says, "Lord, if it is you, Peter replied, tell me to come on the water."

[01:46:23]He said, "Then Peter got out of the boat and walk on water."

[01:46:32]This was the same Peter, my brothers and sisters, who a minute ago was afraid and a ghost.

[01:46:43]>> Oh my God almighty. This was a Peter who was shuffling. I can't believe what Jesus is. But after hearing his savior tell him to not be afraid.

[01:46:58]Oh my God almighty. Jesus said, "Oh man, if you can walk on water, then I can walk on water."

[01:47:08]Somebody praise a mighty God. If you can walk on it, then I can walk on it. So my brothers and sisters, you know what?

[01:47:21]It is you tell me to come out. Oh my brothers and sisters, we are living in a time where I preach gospel and unus but I am believing God for this crusade that there will be a shift in this atmosphere presence of God will give you a level of boldness.

[01:48:01]When you hear the voice of the mighty God, when you hear the voice of Almighty God, I somebody pray almighty God realize that all because of Jesus I can ask you anything I'm here to tell you that Jesus is in whatever you need ask for it he's right here ready to minister to you. Somebody praise almighty God.

[01:49:17]Can I tell you somebody that when you now see Jesus for who he is, there's nothing that you cannot accomplish. Can I talk to somebody tonight?

[01:49:31]When you get an encounter with Jesus, there's nothing that you would have said in the past that you could not do. You can't do it now. Oh my God almighty. If you want to read the world right now Don't want to run the business.
