[00:00:21]A line is a point moving in space. They help determine the motion and direction of every work of art, and we see them in our daily [music] lives. There are various types of lines. Number one, we have actual lines. These are physical lines that are clearly visible in a painting or drawing. Next, implied lines. These are lines we see with our mind's eye, even though they're actually not drawn.

[00:00:47]These provide structure to a composition. They may be vertical, horizontal, diagonal, zigzag, or curved.

[00:00:56]These are mostly curved lines that add an organized, emotional, and dynamic character to a work of art. So, you see, in conclusion, lines are the foundation of everything [music] we create.
