[00:00:00]One in 12 youth will experience dating violence, and I know that's something that has increased over the years. And the females and LGBTQIA+ youth are way more at risk than heterosexual couples, and so it's just something that is running rampant in our schools and within our community, too.

[00:00:17]>> So, there's several forms of abuse that it could look like or dating violence.

[00:00:21]So, like stalking, intimidation, it can be emotional abuse or threats, verbal abuse.

[00:00:29]>> Sexual is happening, and I believe it's becoming the norm for some youth, which can be somewhat challenging. Our youth needs support, and sometimes our youth don't have support. We're trying to figure out what's healthy and what's unhealthy for our youth. So, it's very important to make sure that we become a listening ear to find out what's the issue and come up with some solutions.
