What started as a morning commute quickly turned into a chaotic chain of events after deputies responded to a reported hit-and-run crash in Florida. According to witnesses, a driver had allegedly rear-ended another vehicle during a heated roadside confrontation before fleeing the scene and becoming involved in a second collision moments later. When deputies finally located the suspect vehicle hidden inside a nearby community, the driver claimed she was scared, confused, [music] and trying to get away from the situation. But as officers compared witness statements and questioned her about what happened, they began to believe her story wasn't adding up.

And then she like went that way, so then I went that way because I was like what like obviously she was going that way.

So she was making a right turn into >> She was making a left turn, but I had to make a left turn as well. And so I was just going. Like I was behind her that whole time. Like we had gotten into it and then she was still yelling at me through the window. I was still behind her.

[00:20:17]And then I guess we ended up both needing to go the same like way. So then she went and then I went and then when she went to go, she like slammed on her brakes and brake checked me again. Like she had already done that down there.

[00:20:29]She did it She did it twice? Yes. Like once on the main road and then once when we were like about to turn, but then when we were about to turn, she like slammed hard hard.

So, they said that they found a part of the car, like where your wheel is, the part that goes around the wheel, that piece is in the back trunk. Do you know how Okay. So, was it like hanging off?

But according to deputies, leaving the scene, giving conflicting [music] explanations, and attempting to distance herself from the accidents only made the situation worse.
