[00:02:29]>> What we just witnessed was a textbook display of dignity in the face of rabid unprovoked hate viewers. And mind you, this was not an isolated outburst in Trump's America. It's the latest splash point in a chilling systematic surge of xenophobia targeting the Indian diaspora in the west. Now this Indian couple stood their ground with absolute grace.

[00:02:50]But across America, let me warn you viewers, the mask of tolerance, it's slipping. Be public transport or even local government halls and sacred spaces. You see anti-India racism is turning loud, proud, and now it's turning dangerous. This is our lead story this Wednesday on India Global Viewers capturing the harsh daily life struggle for millions of Indians living abroad, not just one single video. But first, let's just take a stock of the anatomy of this hate. You see, there was zero provocation, absolutely no argument, just a random venomous demand to clear out. This is the daily reality for millions of high achieving, law-abiding Indian-Americans who, by [music] the way, are suddenly now being viewed as invaders in the country they helped build.

[00:03:39]But look back just weeks ago, this poison has already infiltrated the very halls of local democracy. Yes, at the Frisco City Council in Texas, you see, public comment sessions are frequently descending into a circus of rabid anti-India hate.

[00:03:56]Uh hello sir. I am Sanjay Gutba. I am transracial Indian. Sir, I I just want to say thank you for everything you're doing for the Indian community. We need 10,000 more H-1Bs. To stand in solidarity with the Indian community, I've stopped using the city garbage service and I've started throwing my trash outside and pooping everywhere. I love poop. The city smells too clean and it is offensive to me and my culture and I needed to smell more like poop so I can feel at home. I also asked that we remove all deodorant and soap from the stores in Fris. Is it offensive?

[00:04:29]>> Well, let me warn you, viewers, the shenanigans, they just don't stop there.

[00:04:33]You see, sacred spaces are also under siege. Look at the Hanuan temple mocked and targeted by online mobs who turn ancient faith into a punchline for hate on social media.

[00:04:44]>> Now, we are in Fris, Texas. And going back to that changing demographic, back in 2010, you had about 10% um Asian or Indian population in this area. That has since surged to over 30%. And on top of that, um Texans telling me as well that some of these school districts now primarily are made up of demographically Asian students. So, um this is one of the ways that the culture is changing up here. You have multiple Hindu temples all over the DFW area.

[00:05:11]>> Here's the bottom line, viewers. An Indian couple stands in an American street. A stranger ludges forward. Hate fills the air. "Go back to India!" the voice screams. But you look closely at the screen, look at their faces. There's no screaming back. There's no panic.

[00:05:27]Just absolute unshakable dignity. This is America for you today, viewers. This is Donald Trump's America. The mask of tolerance where it's completely gone.

[00:05:36]The numbers don't lie anymore. Our community is under a coordinated digital attack. Let me tell you that very clearly. Online venom is now turning into real world violence. Many instances we showed you. Indians face hostility on college campuses. They face abuses on roadside corners and they face mockery in sacred temples. Yet the Indian diasporite refuses to break down. Every slur insult is met with silent strength.

[00:06:04]Every toxic threat is met with pure grace. And at the end, viewers, hate can shout all it wants.

[00:06:11]But let me get this clear. Indian dignity will always [music] stay louder.

[00:06:17]Well, we switch our tracks where Pakistan and China are once again attempting to rake up the Kashmir bogi.

[00:06:22]But New Delhi has hit back hard and it's hit back fast to say the least. A joint statement issued after talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pakistani Prime Minister Shabbash Sharif. It described Kashmir as an issue and I'm quoting them here left over from history. Now this has triggered a sharp response and rightly so from India within 24 hours. Bhat has made it crystal clear Jammu and Kashmir and Ladak are integral parts of India and while nations sponsoring terror they cannot really lecture New Delhi on sovereignity or even on human rights.

[00:07:04]Pakistan and China are back pushing the Kashmir narrative. A joint statement issued after highlevel talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pakistani Prime Minister Shabbash Sharif described Kashmir as an issue left over from history.

[00:07:21]The statement comes as Shabbash Sharif wrapped up his 4-day China visit and once again Beijing echoed Islamabad's position on Kashmir.

[00:07:31]According to the joint statement, Pakistan briefed China on the latest developments in Jammu and Kashmir.

[00:07:38]China then reiterated that the issue should be properly and peacefully resolved under the UN charter. The statement also opposed what it so deems unilateral actions in the region.

[00:07:51]But New Delhi wasn't going to let that slide. Within 24 hours, India issued a swift and scathing response. Foreign Ministry slammed the unwarranted references to Jammu and Kashmir and Latak and made India's stance crystal clear.

[00:08:08]New Delhi said the union territories have been are and will always remain integral and inalienable parts of India.

[00:08:17]India also underlined that no other country has any locust stand to comment on the matter.

[00:08:24]India also questioned the legality of the China [music] Pakistan economic corridor pointing out that several CPAC projects passed through Pakistan occupied Kashmir. India said that it resolutely opposes and rejects any attempt to legitimize Pakistan's illegal occupation of Indian territory. New Delhi also questioned references to so-called China Pakistan transboundary water cooperation saying the two countries do not even share a boundary.

[00:08:52]Remember this isn't the first such attempt from Islamabad. Just last week, Pakistan tried to internationalize Kashmir again at the UNC. But India dismantled Pakistan point by point on the global stage as well. India has every right to defend itself from such crossber terrorism.

[00:09:13]Pakistan will have to accept that there are consequences to its sponsorship of crossber terrorism.

[00:09:19]Pakistan's hardnessing of the malleent forces of terrorism, religious extremism, violent radicalism and anti-India rhetoric has continued unabated since its creation. The facts in this regard are on public record and need no further elucidation. Pakistan must credibly and irrevocably end its support for all forms of terrorism.

[00:09:40]>> For New Delhi, the message is now blunt and unambiguous.

[00:09:44]Countries sponsoring terror and countries shielding terror states cannot preach to India on human rights, sovereignity or Kashmir. New Delhi's position is also firm. Jammu and Kashmir is not a global dispute. It is India's internal matter. Bureau report NDTV World.

[00:10:09]India and Canada, well, they're finally attempting a major diplomatic reset.

[00:10:13]However, and a big however here, the Kalistthan shadow. Well, it just refuses to fade away. You see, the Union Commerce Minister Push Go is currently in Canada on a crucial outreach visit.

[00:10:24]But sections of Canada's political establishment, well, they continue reviving allegations against India over the major controversy. So, while economics is pushing both countries closer, as we all know, separatist politics here viewers, it threatens to pull them apart once again. To start with, India and Canada appear ready to turn the page. Union Commerce Minister Push Go is on a three-day official visit to the country and unsurprisingly, he's holding meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney himself, business leaders, and also investors in what is being seen as a major diplomatic and economic outreach efforts. Now, the visit comes after bilateral ties hit a historic low back in 2023 under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He accused India of involvement in the killing of Kalistthani separatist Hardep [music] Singh Nar. Now these allegations well they triggered a fullblown diplomatic freeze. But now both sides appear to be keen on a political reset and a much needed economic reboot. You see this is not an ordinary visit. This is India's largest ever business outreach mission to the country. More than 100 senior Indian business leaders from sectors including mining, energy, AI, aerospace and even automotive are part of this delegation that has gone with the industries and commerce minister PJ Coyle. Needless to say, trade is at the very heart of this reset. New Delhi and Ota are now looking to conclude negotiations for a FTA or a free trade agreement as it's called by the end of this very year that's 2026.

[00:11:53]Both countries are pushing deeper cooperation in AI, semiconductors, quantum computing, agricultural, crucial minerals and other nuclear energy as well.

[00:12:03]There's huge interest in this partnership and undoubtedly Canada and India two very consequential economies two democracies two set of people who believed in the shared prosperity of not only our two countries but our own contribution to global economies and global peace and security is a relationship that's going to be very important in the years to come.

[00:12:37]>> You see, but even as New Delhi and attempt to rebuild trust through trade and diplomacy, as you just heard there, the Kalistthani fault line continues to cast a long shadow over the relationship. Just as ties appear to stabilize sections of Canada's political and security establishment, well, they're once again reviving the foreign interference boogie. In an explosive interview to the Glob and Mail, India's high commissioner to Canada, DH Patnayak, he strongly rejected these allegations linking the Indian state to criminal activity on Canadian soil, calling many of the accusations quote unquote fantasy. Patnak also accused Kalistthani elements of influencing parts of Canada's security ecosystem in turn. Now, the remark comes after renewed political signaling from sections of Canada's conservative camp.

[00:13:22]You see, conservative MP Jasraat Singh Halan, he's also come under the criticism after refusing to clearly condemn Kalistthan separatism with critics accusing some Canadian politicians of avoiding tough positions to protect domestic food banks.

[00:13:38]>> Issue of multiple things including separatism in the region of Punjab. uh just this morning it was revealed that India's top diplomat in Canada made an assertion that the RCMP and CEUS are compromised by seek separatists. What do you make of that? First let me I I I have to ask you when have I been uh when have I said anything about separatism in uh Punjab >> discussed the issues of Punjab before in terms of >> I've never discuss any of those but to your to your other question I have never I have never >> separatism not I'm not saying separatism I'm saying you've discussed the issues in Punjab regarding the sik community that includes sectarianism challenges >> that wasn't what you asked at first >> for New Delhi viewers the message is becoming increased inreasingly clear.

[00:14:24]You see, India is willing to move forward on trade, investments, and even strategic cooperation, but any tolerance towards separatist narrative, well, it remains a major red line.

Now, no new policy updates promised to completely shake up the entire system as we knew it. But the community is not staying silent. You see, amid the rising anxieties, advoc advocacy groups, they're pushing back fiercely, and high-profile federal lawsuits are already challenging USCIS's heavy-handed tactics. And well, it's adjunctive freezes in court. One of the few leading this charge to defend these families is someone you've seen right here on our show before. Joining us now is Aman Kapoor. He's the president of Immigration Voice USA. Amand from Washington, DC. Aman, once again, welcome back to the show. My first question to you is for the average tech worker or even a doctor on an H1B visa, what do these latest rules actually change for their daily life and well for their family stability as well?

[00:15:56]This affects everybody but in large proportion it affects people from India because a significant number of people waiting for green card in the green card backlog uh in the employment based category specifically they are from India. So this has an impact of every aspect of life where people will have to abandon uh from here and go back to their home countries as the memo the recent memo that USCIS published that they would have to abandon their home.

[00:16:24]They would have to go back and take an appointment and in India as you probably are already aware and your viewers might be aware it takes almost an year to get an appointment. Uh and uh that long wait time is excruciatingly painful.

[00:16:38]>> Absolutely. And so although much of the details is still to be announced by the administration u this initial announcement itself is um it just uh rock the uh wind wind out of the sale of a lot of people >> right Mr. Kapusha you raised a very important point there that there's no details speaking of these details when are these new rules expected to be enforced and what are you hearing and what are you picking up from your grape vine within the administration if you're picking up anything Mr. proportion.

[00:17:08]>> The initial announcement seems to be that it applies to everybody other than the extraordinary condition, >> right?

[00:17:13]>> Which is uh alarming and uh now and the memo also says that it is at the discretion of the adjudicating officer.

[00:17:22]Now you see that can mean a lot of different things to different people and so some lawyers will look at it and they will post on social media that well everything is fine and others may look at it and say well nothing is fine and and uh we are right now in between where in because of lack of details you see nobody knows where this thing is actually going to go and everybody has an opinion to share. So we are in that phase where we just have to wait and watch and uh at the same time we are preparing that if in this case goes south we are prepared that we might take we have to stand up on behalf of our members. I represent immigration voice and we'll be standing up on behalf of our members and may consider filing uh a lawsuit on this specific memo because it affects a lot of people.

[00:18:08]>> Well absolutely and on to my last and you know the most central question according to many start now with Mr. Mr. Kapoor, if someone is watching right now and they feel trapped by the system, what is that single most effective action they can take today to help fix it?

[00:18:24]>> People who are affected, they should be plugged in and they should know what they are, what the whole system is unfolding. Try to not listen to too many online lawyers because there ample of them and everybody like the like a nose, everybody has their opinion and uh but be plugged into the fact factual information. make your plans based on the facts and uh uh do whatever you have to to get out there the visa system and uh uh you know stay on top of things be plugged in and uh we represent immigration my organization is immigration voice we have 130,000 members who are mostly doctors engineers research scientists professors who are in the US uh join a group like ours so that you're plugged in and you get the authentic information and uh would also get uh uh more factual information that so you can plan your plan ahead in your lives and your family's lives, >> right?

[00:19:18]>> Uh that's the most important thing and uh let's see what how things will unfold and we are right now preparing that if this thing will go south, we would be prepared to file lawsuit.

[00:19:29]>> Well, we definitely hope things work out Mr. Kapoor and once again thank you so much for taking out the time and unpacking this very important story which affects hundreds of thousands of Indians [music] there in the US. Well, shifting gears, viewers, we turn our focus back home where India's got its first AI powered anti- drone shield.

[00:19:47]That's right. Now, it's a system designed to detect, track, and also to neutralize hostile drones in real [music] time. And you know what? This is part of a new generation of indigenous defense technologies unveiled by one Zen Technologies. It's being called the integrated smart border suite, an AI enabled border security ecosystem. It's being built to tackle illegal infiltration, drone based smuggling, naroterrorism and even hybrid warfare threats across India's western and its eastern borders as well. [00:21:17]The company said it's already shipped more than 10,000 defense training and anti-roe systems globally and it's also filed over 200 patents. Now, as Bat strengthens its borders with AI and indigenous defense technology, the message could not be any clearer. You see, the future of border security will not just be guarded by soldiers, but it will be powered by these smart machines which will be manufactured right here in India's own backyard to protect Parat's own borders. Viewers, well, time for a quick take segment. 10 Indian sailors held in Iran for nearly a year. They're finally coming home.

[00:21:55]That's right. You see, India's diretory general of shipping confirmed the crew of Envy Harbor Phoenix were detained after their vessel was intercepted near Jasport in July last year. The sailors were arrested and imprisoned in Iran while aboard a Palao flag tanker. The Indian government credited the sustained diplomatic efforts between the Ministry of External Affairs, [music] the Indian embassy in Thran, vessel managers and other stakeholders for securing their timely release.
