Making Myanmar/Burma Great in Dawn of Empires!

[00:00:00]All right, guys. So, today I'm going to be forming Burma as Pinya.

[00:00:05]Uh Burma's a new formable, so I wanted to try it out before the game would close.

[00:00:10]Um it doesn't have that many required provinces from what I could see.

[00:00:15]So, uh I just cleared the north first because there was a China player at the time and I didn't want him potentially going into Burma, even though that wasn't really an issue.

[00:00:24]But, I did the classic strategy of making like five army groups and uh carpet sieging little guys around me.

[00:00:32]But, at this point pretty much halfway done with forming Burma. Obviously, there's a lot left of the video.

[00:00:38]There's some uh pretty fun things that I get into.

[00:00:42]Subjectively.

[00:00:44]But, this has to go to Sukhothai, I think. Uh I think it's Sukhothai. But, anyway, I siege down Sukhothai. I get the peninsula over there in the south.

[00:00:54]And I pretty much take the land.

[00:00:57]Now, all that's left is one province to form.

[00:01:00]And I go ahead and just take it. And I form Myanmar.

[00:01:07]Um that was a rather quick formable.

[00:01:11]But, at this point my goal is to one, expand and two, uh dev have some allies and just, you know, go around.

[00:01:26]So, at this point uh I'm planning to go into northern Myanmar.

[00:01:30]I'm just letting you guys know uh later I exit Asia.

[00:01:34]But, uh at this point I go into northern Myanmar. I plan to go into Bangladesh too a little bit after this.

[00:01:41]But, um I still am joined in Vietnam, so I decide to steer my army away from there at this point in time.

[00:01:49]And I decide to invade Delhi over there on my border.

[00:01:52]And side note, uh Burma surprisingly has a lot of manpower, like Southeast Asia in general.

[00:01:59]I have like maybe a thousand dev at this point already, which is pretty much equal to Egypt, so that's kind of a lot.

[00:02:09]Anyway, I casually carpet siege Delhi and here's where our second protagonist, Chakri comes in.

[00:02:15]Uh he sieges down from the north. I'm sieging to the coast over near Suriname or Bombay, I guess.

[00:02:23]Anyway, me and Chakri are down sieging there. Um I plan to just annex.

[00:02:29]Yeah, I annex uh Bangladesh.

[00:02:32]And at this point I plan to annex Sikkim. Um that one blue country over there. I don't know the name of it.

[00:02:39]And also like Assam, like that area between China and Bangladesh that's not controlled by me at this point in time.

[00:02:48]Uh after this I do launch several wars into uh Southeast Asia. I do launch a little bit more than I could chew at the time.

[00:02:56]So, uh I didn't exactly go into that dire situation.

[00:03:02]Uh I got a little low battery warning, but uh that's okay. I charged my phone there.

[00:03:07]Anyway, I do six justifications on neighboring countries. I form a bunch of armies and I just uh go ahead and siege.

[00:03:16]Uh firstly, that country over there just fell pretty quickly. Um I'm sieging the Sukhothai. I think it has like modern Thailand.

[00:03:26]But, uh my northern push sort of just kind of got defeated.

[00:03:31]I went a little bit too fast and too hard.

[00:03:34]But, anyway, um I restore a northern army and I go ahead and invade um the red country. I don't I don't know the name of it.

[00:03:45]But, um at this point this is the last war I'm doing is against Khmer. And it goes pretty easily. Again, these are AI.

[00:03:52]I only have I think one player war and that's against France, but it's a little bit later.

[00:03:57]Anyway, I annex land from Khmer. I pretty much have most of Southeast Asia.

[00:04:02]And at this point I plan to annex land to Vietnam as well.

[00:04:06]Uh so, Vietnam goes down pretty quickly.

[00:04:09]Um Well, southern Vietnam anyway, the yellow country over there.

[00:04:14]Also, side note, uh there's a Malaysia player, there's also another player in Indonesia, there's a China player.

[00:04:20]Uh there is some India players at some point, but they don't really do that much.

[00:04:24]But, anyway, um I go ahead and annex Vietnam except for one province cuz I couldn't really get to it.

[00:04:31]Uh I had to do something, so I set up a little auto clicker for like a couple seconds, well, for your point of view.

[00:04:37]There was a little jump cut.

[00:04:38]But, anyway, um I go ahead and justify against Khmer in a little bit and also Champa, but also Vietnam, that one province I couldn't get cuz of the war score and that kind of stuff.

[00:04:50]So, I siege on Vietnam, I take it and I go ahead and invade Khmer and Champa.

[00:04:55]Um Khmer gets very quickly sieged down.

[00:04:58]It was very easy compared to what it was earlier. And same for Champa for that matter. Uh Champa was a little bit harder, but it really wasn't that bad. I only have a little bit of Southeast Asia left.

[00:05:11]I really like my capital to try and get some more manpower and that kind of stuff.

[00:05:15]But, at this point there's an India player who decides to ally me.

[00:05:20]Uh he doesn't really help me in my adventures against France a little bit later, but he exists.

[00:05:29]Anyway, um I go ahead and invade Khmer and Champa. They're pretty much all gone now when I invade into peninsula of Southeast Asia.

[00:05:37]Well, the peninsula of Malaysia, I should probably say.

[00:05:40]Um I'm getting near to that other player that I mentioned that was in um Majapahit.

[00:05:48]But, anyway, at this point I'm organizing a coalition against France because I think that would be pretty funny.

[00:05:53]So, to get there because of colonial range, I do sort of have to get a bunch of colonies, so I pretty much take up Burma's colonies just to invade France.

[00:06:04]But, anyway, um Chakri is pretty on board with the idea.

[00:06:08]First of all, uh we decided to just fight Well, not just fight, but try and steer it against Greece initially, but that didn't really uh go through that well.

[00:06:18]So, we decided to swap to France. That's kind of our logic there.

[00:06:22]But, anyway, um we're right now beating Yemen. This uh Yemen is a pretty hard country to beat. I'm going to be honest just cuz of so many mountains and that kind of stuff.

[00:06:33]But, this war takes a little bit longer than usual.

[00:06:36]But, anyway, um Yemen gets beaten. I justify on Balden or something.

[00:06:45]Well, anyway, I annex land from Balden and I go ahead and plan to invade Libya to get access to France.

[00:06:52]Um Libya pretty much doesn't put up a fight here. Just also Spain player if you guys want to know. I was pretty much trying to get everyone coalitioning France here.

[00:07:00]But, I had much more development just cuz of Southeast Asia so I'll be So, I just sent 16K against France. This is a France player right away.

[00:07:09]And he's just getting carpet sieged.

[00:07:10]This is the start of hard times for France. I'll put it like like that.

[00:07:16]Anyway, in comes the invasion of Chakri, uh my Chinese ally and um my Indian allies didn't really do anything.

[00:07:24]But, regardless, we're over here invading France.

[00:07:27]I have northern France sieged. Chakri I plan to actually annex some lands of France a little bit later.

[00:07:34]But, anyway, France is pretty much fully sieged at this point. I'm only missing one province, which I didn't exactly know at the time.

[00:07:42]I tried to annex land and try and like siege a province from Chakri, but it didn't exactly work.

[00:07:48]So, I siege the last province France had and just peace them out.

[00:07:52]But, I did want to get an outpost in Europe, so I did uh declare war on a country and I annex Monaco.

[00:08:02]So, now we have Burmese Monaco. Amazing.

[00:08:05]Anyway, the Ottomans look pretty much like Turkey just so that's like an interesting side note.

[00:08:10]Also, Naples is expanding Italy, so that's also a thing.

[00:08:14]And also Egypt was invading France, too, just so you guys know.

[00:08:18]He wasn't uh in favor of us invading Greece.

[00:08:22]But, I developed my land in Burma a little bit just cuz I wanted development to be a little bit better. Uh Partially for manpower reasons, partially just the map.

[00:08:35]But, anyway, um I still plan to invade France at this point.

[00:08:41]But, uh I figure out that France is an AI, so I just had a very easy time carpet sieging. At this point I plan to annex Brittany.

[00:08:50]So, we're starting to slowly partition France. Um Chakri also tries to send another front at some point. He goes into Alsace-Lorraine, I think.

[00:09:00]But, anyway, um I strip Brittany from France around this point.

[00:09:09]Um that is near my last expansion in Europe. There is still some expansions in Europe, don't get me wrong, but that's about it for my French uh adventures. Chakri decides to uh invade France in the Netherlands and just colonize it himself, which is kind of funny.

[00:09:27]Anyway, Turkey is going to go into Syria, also Egypt, so it is done.

[00:09:32]But, I am missing like two provinces from my own Burma. I wasn't really okay with that.

[00:09:37]Also, China does have 1.5K more dev than me, but uh that's details.

[00:09:44]China's province is actually pretty big, just side note. But, I split my armies into army groups to help potentially siege more land.

[00:09:52]And I pretty much just annex Yunnan very very I spread my siege map over into Southern China and also uh the Tibet area.

[00:10:02]This is mainly war against China, really.

[00:10:05]But, I sent some armies to try and capture capital, too, just cuz that's pretty much the war goal.

[00:10:11]Anyway, with half of China sieged, I decided to confront their armies cuz I did have a bigger army than them at the time.

[00:10:20]Uh I still have that one guy over like northern Russia just he's there.

[00:10:25]This isn't a peace deal, by the way. I still have to siege a little bit.

[00:10:28]Well, don't have to, but Regardless, I siege some more of China.

[00:10:33]Uh Jagatai, I think, is over right now having fun in France.

[00:10:37]And I just sent my uh fellows to go and busy China so I could eventually make a peace deal.

[00:10:44]I take a little bit more land than I initially was um going for, but I still end up using them pretty soon.

[00:10:53]And with that, I have the most development server out of any country.

[00:10:57]But, I am in debt, so uh there's that.

[00:11:01]But, there is a new India player, but anyway, um Jagatai is invading France.

[00:11:07]I frankly forgot the name of the India, but there's a red India player.

[00:11:12]And there's a big Bulgaria. I didn't note on that earlier. There's a big Bulgaria.

[00:11:17]But, I just wanted to explain the map. I did kind of want to develop my land a little bit more.

[00:11:22]But, there is still some wars I do plan on going on because uh my name tag at this point Myanmar, uh the Y is over in a mountain.

[00:11:31]And that's not that great for a screenshot, honestly.

[00:11:35]But, anyway, uh France is getting sieged again by Jagatai and friends.

[00:11:40]Yeah, France gets sieged probably in this game.

[00:11:43]But, anyway, uh I took almost all of Burma.

[00:11:47]Just cuz I kind of wanted it to be developed.

[00:11:50]But, I do want to Delhi pretty soon just cuz I want the name tag to be a little bit fixed, you know.

[00:11:57]Also, about that Indian nation, the the red guy, uh he does get involved in this war business a little bit later.

[00:12:05]Pretty much when I have most of it sieged down already.

[00:12:08]But, I beat army of Delhi at that point.

[00:12:11]Uh I have a pretty good time sieging them.

[00:12:14]Then their other place is pretty much sieged already.

[00:12:16]And I go ahead and expand the conversation a little bit more.

[00:12:20]Uh I siege their capital, which is pretty good for war score and that kind of stuff. That's kind of how that works in this game.

[00:12:27]But, anyway, you can probably see the red nation uh invading India there.

[00:12:31]And I used to have my name tag there that looked like that.

[00:12:36]Uh that's it for my expansion Southeast Asia, but I do kind of want Wales, I'm not going to lie.

[00:12:43]Wales is kind of a goal for me to get.

[00:12:46]But, here's where Jagatai starts to have some issues. Um I'm not exactly strong enough to help him with this point.

[00:12:53]He is, I think, getting 2v1 in the I can't really uh see that by myself.

[00:12:58]So, Jagatai just go invade England instead and take some land off them.

[00:13:03]Why not?

[00:13:05]So, anyway, uh a lot of England is sieged at this point. Uh London is surprisingly not the capital, which was which uh something British.

[00:13:13]>> [snorts] >> Um I developed my land a little bit more, but um that's pretty much it for my expansion. Uh The rest of them the game was mostly just me developing, just kind of watching events, and me taking Wales probably. That's about it for the video.
