Financial restoration requires understanding that assets (things that put money in your pocket) differ from liabilities (things that remove money from your pocket), and that income follows assets; effective financial management involves creating budgets, saving with purpose, investing wisely, and avoiding poverty mindsets like ignorance, laziness, victim mentality, and materialism while developing skills and entrepreneurship to build wealth.

STEWARDSHIP WOP SABBATH || AFTERNOON SERVICE || EV. ANDREW OKWANYAdded:
Okay, I this afternoon I want you to be interactive. I want to be sure you're following. I want to see you changing.
You can see this screen.
Please change. You don't have to sit where you're seated. I want you to see the screen. So before that there are there's a conclusion of the morning message that I want to finish with and I want you to see that this boy when the boy comes back home the boy is restored the boy is restored with many things God sees him the father sees him a quick notice that means God knows your situation financially there's also compassion this is emotional intelligence somebody who has worked your foot, your shoes.
So the restoration is also is a hasty welcome because he knows the longer he stays outside the more he's suffering even financially. Then there's a hug, an embrace. And let me tell you, a lot of your homes, some of you go to hospitals and you could be cured if you just had a hug from your husband.
A lot of your children when they come from school, the first thing you should do is to hug them. And don't ask them how school was, ask them how they were at school. So there's there's a way may cut a bit of this space and some words can be cut. So this thing of emotional restoration is important. We need to have areas homes that accept us and forgiveness.
Somebody said a doctor said 90% of his patients could be discharged if they can be forgiven. There are people who are just walking with guilt. But I want you to see this story is not about emotional only. God goes ahead and profiles a list of physical things, material things to restore this boy. Let's start the journey. Are you ready? I want you to check it out there. The first thing you find in this story is anybody knows that the robe was a very expensive clo that was meant for special guest. So any clo this was a signate clo in this is my boy and parents listen to me clothes are important church leaders listen to me clothes are important if you want to show that you are restored the way clo and color arranges itself on you is part of stewardship.
If you walk with me, I pass through many gates because of the way I dress up.
Many gates. Sometimes I don't even talk just by the way I dress up. Let me tell you, don't be lazy in dressing. I like to think like this. Suppose show up on a Tuesday and there's no changing of clothes.
You know some of us dress like scarecrow.
God wants to restore. Clothes are important. Did you notice you want to greet everyone in the office, isn't it?
Huh?
You don't know. There's somebody who dressed well today. Is there somebody who dressed well? You saw the Bible says God looks on the outside. Sorry. Man looks on the outside and God looks where?
So work on the inside for God, but work on the outside for man.
Don't be lazy in how you look. This restoration on robes is also important.
We've come to a generation where everyone is naked. Nakedness is a sign that we've had a reendu a conversation with Satan. Immediately he went into Eden and messed up our first parents.
They were naked and they were hiding.
Another day Jesus removed a demon from some guy and the guy was found seated in his right mind and clothed. Another day some sons of you know the story somes of Then the demon possessed guy asked them okay Jesus I know Paul I also know.
And the demon-possessed man, the Bible says, leapt on them and beat them thoroughly and they escaped. Number one, injured and naked.
Nakedness may increase in our world today. It is a sign that the righteousness of Christ is being withdrawn. God's spirit is being withdrawn. Teach your children to dress for stewardship to cover the subject matter. This world that is now naked everywhere needs a robe restoration. Can I hear an amen on that one? You don't like that one. You want to wear the way you like.
The boy is also restored with a ring.
Are you guys following? This was not a wedding ring. However, we'll talk about wedding and family life. Family is a stewardship and a financial matter.
Anybody who is lazy with family life will either run poor or run mad.
If you don't know how to keep your children around you, if you don't know how to keep your husband around you, if you don't know how to keep your wife around you, you will lose so much money unwittingly, undecidedly. That's why we write a lot of books on family. Family is a financial equation. There are some parts of this country where when a child finishes campus like this, their parents arrange for them marriages immediately.
It's a it's it's a stewardship business.
And parents, if you have children who are grown up, it is their right to see in us, fathers and mothers, good homes where a father can sit with a mother and they can show love and the genesis can retain trust in marriage. Today we have handed over to our children a faulty idea about marriage.
They have slaves called wives. And the young daughters are looking and say and I teach your children. I'm telling you because of how you behave in marriage. The generation today called Gen Z. You ask them, they'll tell you marriage is a hoax. Don't you think as a church our children demand and they deserve to be shown the way of marriage?
If you don't age 40 then now they want to get married. I am telling you while at this time marriage ring had not shown up marriage ring was brought by Romans later but I just slipped this inside. One of the best things you can do to your children prepare them for marriage. Do you know why they given certificate when they are ready? The assumption is they have been in a marriage class. They've been learning how to.
And if you don't know how to take care of your family, I'm telling you, it's a big crisis.
Divorce is expensive.
I think that's a good enough comment.
But let me go to this ring. In this day and age, these guys didn't have an ATM account. They didn't have a a bank account. They didn't have banks. So, this ring was given to a son by Alihitimu. And that ring had the stamp of the family. How they would buy their goods. The shopkeepers like Maroa would run a large block of of of works. So if the boy had reached an age where he can be given access to family wealth, the boy would be handed over a ring of ownership and a ring of stewardship. A ring that this boy can transact family business. As he went to the shop, he would ask for goods and then he would press the family coat of arms in the ring and it would be charged to his father's account.
I know you're wondering why a ring. Now you know this ring is economic access.
While you do many things to your children, take them to school, it might give them a ring in their hand. And I'm so glad that someone risked me who was stupid and young and took me to school.
Put a ring in my hand. You should also do but go beyond taking your children to school. You educate them for a while that is passing out of their feet very quickly. Some of you know that 4 years now I don't know if my friend Muendia is here. Is Muendia in the audience?
I wanted to make this announcement in the morning but I was okay. when he comes please just let him know that I want to know that he's in but I'll make the comment in anyway some of us know that the world we live in and you need to know these things down here in Migori 4 years is too long to keep a child in school learning a course that will not be relevant when he finishes did you hear what I said >> choose wisely In this day and age, I ask you to think through carefully, pray carefully. I saw a lot of us and I've seen it in Nairobi also were to but they have no ring in their hands. They have a certificate. You even lie to them by putting a party at you. You have now graduated. You come and lie to them. It now you you have all the power to do.
and then they struggled five years no job because they were trained only to look for a job. I want you to take note of this lesson. This afternoon lesson is a serious concern on our children while they go to school. Give them a ring in their hand. Invest for them. If you can buy land, it would be nice. But teach them how to translate the knowledge they get into making money. Let them not just graduate as people who just want to be employed. I have seen this evil so many days and that's why I rose to teach on this subject this afternoon. I want to show you how you can make money and how you can teach your children to make money instead of just thinking that education is equivalent to success. Now you know it is not true. Am I right?
So put a ring in their hand and that ring is economic access. Number three is what?
put shoes in their feet. The gospel of uh according to St. Paul identifies what shoes are in the Bible. Shoes are preparation for service.
When you look at the soldier in Ephesians chapter 6, for we fight not against flesh and blood, but we wrestle against spiritual wickedness in high places. And the guy starts listing therefore put on the whole armor of God.
And the Christian is dressed in this way. Says the head should be covered with a helmet of salvation.
Huh?
Adventist need to understand their faith.
Intellectually settling in the truth but also consenting in your heart to follow the truth. Number two, there is the breastplate of righteousness.
That is the rope. And then there's the belt of truth. Who knows that part? The belt of truth. Anybody have read that?
And then there are shoes. That shoe, a Roman soldier would not care where he's walking, whether he's walking on CO or he's walking on iron because he had the shoe. A lot of our children are not ready for life because the way they are trained a househel, they don't do anything. They don't touch anything.
Wait and you will see them going down with mental health issues. Train your children to always wear shoes of readiness to serve. If you want them to make enough money, let them learn service. Does that make sense to you? I know you didn't see that coming from the same I'm just reading from the the parable shoes.
Don't let your children be barefooted.
In those culture, in the culture of this guy, slaves were barefooted, but sons wore shoes.
I still remember the first shoe I wore.
It was a borrowed shoe. I borrowed it down here. We were going to my sister's graduation that day. Uh I left Asar Johansson. I think I was sent home for school fee. Some of my stories I think need to be published. That's why we write books. So Mia, I was sent home for school fee. My mother was ready to go to Pamela's graduation. Is Is she still in?
I had a book for Did you get your book?
Yeah. My mother was going for graduation at Egaton at Pamela's graduation class 6. I'm a Fukuza school fee. And I was barefooted.
So when I went home, mom told me, "Let's go with you to town." She was going to sell two gorogoros of maze so that she gets fair. I think it was three or four to go to she needed to top up.
So we are going we are going. On the way my mother gets an idea down there. She borrows shoes for me and off we go all the way to Joro to witness a graduation.
But the wearing of that shoe changed something in my mind. The going to the university and seeing people being worn in robes changed my mind and I said m I think I must wear shoes one day.
When your children are growing inside your house, please dress them properly.
That dressing as a way of giving them confidence, but dress them with a mindset of the future, a mindset of the gospel. Give them all you can to expose them to knowing that God will help us.
That little thing when I came back to school altered how I was behaving in class because I was and it was not my issue.
But inside I said I want to wear my own shoe.
I think one of you might be the mother of that guy who borrowed me the shoe in a custo.
But that was us. That was the year 1997.
I still remember class 6. Your children need covering.
The other one is a party. Did you see party? A feasting. Okay, you guys are too quiet. Am I saying things? Is this a language you understand? Do I need translation?
>> Number one, what is the tools you need for restoring your children, your home materially? A robe. Number two, a ring.
Number three, now we are at a party. The guy throws a party. Friends, life is not suffering after suffering.
You are just a person of suffering. You need restoration. In the gospel of God, the Bible says in God's right hand, there is pleasure forever.
And some mothers, they just strugglers.
You know, they're just crying all the time.
My friend, the gospel is a place of joy.
You must know how to make your home a party home. Not that you must always make food a lot but we are coming to food but let your life be a celebration.
One day is long enough to be happy.
So don't go through life you are suffering the next day you are suffering then if you are you need to ask for the holy spirit to give you joy. Joy is one of the fruit of the holy spirit. If you see a Christian all the time and I complain to that person needs I know you're wondering now Andrew who do you want us to celebrate who I didn't say we celebrate we celebrate because God has given us something called contentment with godliness. Didn't I read it the other day? Jacob says, "If my if God will be my God and he will go with me and just give me food and clothes, then I will be okay." If you have God, then even the smallest things you get, just coming and seeing my mother is okay is already celebration. We just throw a party. A new day already celebration. Teach yourself to celebrate otherwise Please teach yourself to smile and have a party of your life. Number five, a fatted what? We're discussing this with pastor. This is not a a spelling mistake on the Bible. It is not fattened calf. It is fatted. Let me expl now now you know give it to you as pastor gave it to me. This is the latest gospel I got that a fatted calf was one where if the owner of the home knew that he would have a very important visitor, the owner of the home would find a pedigree animal. That means an animal whose genes look good and organized that the mating is controlled and then the the the calves that would come from that cow would be different unique and it would be selected put aside and it would eat a different meal awaiting this important guest. No wonder the older brother was very hungry. It's like this special cow, this guy who was swallowed.
And I told pastor, some of us will be shocked when we get to heaven the party God will throw for you.
The fatted calf. God loves special things. Have some special things for your home. When you travel and go to Nigeria, my wife has a certain clo I came with from Ghana.
She wears it on special occasions. Not that the clo is not there in Kenya. It is that the cloth represents a special thought that I have taken while I am away. Please give your family members the fatted calf. Don't go home.
Don't go home.
Friends, our families deserve a stewardship lessons. And when you come to God, if God has given you the fatted calf 50, did I tell you the story of that young boy who went fishing? He fished and he caught the first fish and it was very fat. It was looking good. And he went to church to PASTOR AND SAID, "PASTOR, HERE IS TITHE. I caught the fish." And then said, "Okay, let's pray about it." And pastor prayed over the fish. And the first pastor was asking why is the other nine so that I can buy because you brought tithe. The young boy said they are in the water. I'm going to catch them.
I want you to learn to put God first because he put you first. God looked through heaven. There were angels that excel in strength. There was Gabriel, musicians. There are tall angels, fat angels. But God picked the King of Kings, the Lord of glory, the man of Calvary, the best that heavens could get. And that's the one he gave you. His name is Jesus.
I can see that boy understands this thing. That's a good one. That guy will become a preacher.
Besides all these things, music is part of restoration. Let me make a comment here for passing. I am a music teacher.
You need a lot of improvement in your music. That's enough comment.
Leaders, where's the music director in this church? I want to talk to you directly. Personal responsibility.
Are you music dire? Anybody in the music industry in this church industry, please stand. I want to give you a special charge. Musicians of the church, choir leader, church choir leader, music director, elder in charge of music. All of you stand. I want to talk to you guys directly. You have a resp. This church is so big. This church is going to host the elites of this town and there are people who come here because of many good things. My honest assessment your music is still way below like in a struggle in like honestly please organize a seminar a prayer so that your people are taught most of it in knowledge issue. Train your chisters how to make church members sing and not shout. Train your choir. And the choir was so beautifully dressed and willing to serve if they just got a little training. Please be seated. Having said that, our homes, did I say that right?
>> Huh?
>> When someone loves you, they tell you the truth. Isn't it?
>> I love this church. I want to come when I'm going home and just sit back there and I'm sure that the like I enjoyed how you are the first church which sang the amen cadence vizouri. I know you don't understand that but just leave that for the musicians the first church everybody that means people here love singing can I give you an example >> huh >> can I give you an example >> yes >> let's sing song number 86 you know 86 oh lord my god when I wonder women oh can I hear I see.
Please.
Train your children to learn to play instruments. Instruments who have sung here for so long that they have something called perfect pitch. You ask them to pitch, they will tell you.
So your choristry team. Yeah. Nice.
Organize your chorry team.
Perfect pitcher.
That helps you to know instrument. That helps you to know you put a perfect picture where to start. So you don't keep moving the song up and down. You know it might not even be Jacob's ladder anyway. So so look here. You need to have a key for the song. Oh Lord my God. Sing with me.
Please sing the I can't hear you.
I see the stars. I see.
Can I hear you on the chorus? Then sings my soul. Dances.
And I wasn't even singing and the audience was singing.
Why are you not singing?
No. Friends, listen. By the time you are a cora, you already have a good voice.
You are leading the congregation to sing. So, imatu slightly above them.
When they can hear each other, you synergize congregational singing. When you sing too loud, you actually kill your own congregational singing. In Yanza, we are blessed with singers.
Please take some time and train your people.
Please do the volume that there are old people here, isn't it? So there are decibels you can't go beyond.
Pull it down. This thing is meant to speak to people. This it's a talking pace.
Volume. That one doesn't need a microphone, isn't it? So don't shout at people. People come here with heartaches. They must not live with headaches.
Make sense? Besides church music, your home should be filled with music. Train your children to sing and to harmonize.
I actually get very blessed when I see people who can sing well. Those guys are holy.
There's no way you can't raise children.
They can't harmonize when discord. It is bad. As a mother, don't just sing in choir, sing at home.
Let music be a language of your home.
There's a way you will keep the home fragrant. Did you know that music chases away demons? I thought you should know the best sound of restoration is music.
That's why the guy the the the boy comes back home and he lights up a band. Train yourself to sing early in the morning when you wake up.
name.
You know, the devil knows the power of music. That's why everything on your TV comes with music. Let's drown the sounds of the evil one with heavenly music.
Train yourself to have an atmosphere. It is part of material restoration. Let me finish with food. Do you want to hear food? Was there food? When the boy came back, there are homes that today mothers have left the kitchen. There are mothers who don't know how to cook. Their only recipe of every day is add water, add salt. Add water, add salt. Your food is bad, aquatic. I can tell you if your children will find some street food, they will go out of your hand. Food is a way of restoring the home. In fact, I can tell you I have walked there's no tail big in this country.
I have been to Saula. I have been to Sroa. I have been to Hilton. There is nobody in those hotels that cooks better than my wife.
Because I don't like bad food. You cook bad food, you eat by yourself.
A lot of things go wrong in our homes because mothers have stopped the art of cooking. Ellen White says there's good religion in making of good bread.
Some relationships, some illicit relationships and affairs begin with your husbands taking someone out for lunch. I wish you cooked for them good food. Some husbands are staying in whatever in the name of watching football and nonsense because they know at home what they will eat is mad jama. And then this one is not for at least people you know how to cook. you I you saw I enjoyed your food isn't it some places in this country they put even food for thought and then poverty in your mind and then breakfast that is poverty mindset demand as those are two carbohydrates.
What are you eating there anyway? By the way, let me tell you the ability to eat well and somebody has done a big honor for me this week. I think I want to give you a gift at the end. Somebody ensured that I was waking up and eating the way I eat at home. It affects the quality of how you think in the don't ignore. Don't let your children come from school. And sometimes it can be economic, but you don't have to make the food so rich and all that. Our environment, did you know Kenya has 65 different types of beans? But they don't eat any meat any totally.
I don't eat.
But I feel strong in my body. They have never been to hospital for a very long time because of food. I am telling you if you want to keep some money in your pocket, go to the kitchen.
Can I say that again? If you want, make your food your medicine. So don't just eat the aspect of food is an important that's why this church has a whole message called the health message. It has nothing to do with you growing f fat for heaven or being holy. No, God is simply preparing your mind to understand last days messages. Number one. Number two, so that when you are healthy, you are healthy indeed. It is for your own good. There are homes and I still remember we would come from youth group and we would go to that home. The lady always cooked for us. Your children will love to come back home. There's an age ambassadors. They get happy when the fridge is full. Huh? And then there is you wait.
Food is an important part of restoration. Did I say that? Well, huh.
The point is if there's an improvement you need to go and make, do it for the sake of restoration. do it for the sake of restoring your family to bring them back to Jesus. Let's finish the last part of this message. Now, what your expenditure says about what you fear.
And I want to start with a quotation from Ellen White in Councils on Stewardship, page 154. Why you are poor is in this text. It is not your fault.
Are you able to read it? You will read everything in red. I read what is in black.
As the people of God approach the parents of the last days, as we come heavenly church, honest consultation with his angels. Why? He's saying that he wants the most successful plan of overthrowing their faith. He directs his angels to lay their snares especially for these people. Number one, they are looking for the second advent of Christ. Give me a name for those guys.
People who are looking for the advent of Christ are called Adventist and endeavoring to keep all the commandments. Finish the name.
Seventh day.
So this is a plan for the devil against you guys. What does the plan entails? It has two things inside. Number one, the devil arranges his demons and says group number one and then go. What's the word? Make the possessors of land and money drunk with chaos. That means money. Where am I GOING TO GET MONEY?
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. And all the cares of this life.
Present the world before them in its most attractive light that they may lay their treasures here. fix their attention on earthly things. No wonder the whole week you've not been here.
Money, money, money. Satan's plan is working. Group number one, are they succeeding? Yes. Group number two, can I bring it up there? The second group of angels, we must do our utmost to do what?
Prevent those who labor in God's course from doing what?
>> That means they will use them against us. Keep the money in our ranks. So there are only two categories of people today in the church. And I see them, broke, but they love the Lord. Or rich, but they don't love the Lord. Don't you think God wants some rich men who love him? Yes. This is the plan of the devil to affect the gospel. The more he says they obtain the means. That's why the devil wants people like Andrew to be poor. But because I read this, I said, "Lord, I will not be poor." I refused.
I refused because I have the gospel. I need means to travel and you need to.
There are some of you because of your estate and status in life, you can call your neighbors and they will come because of just how you conduct your personal businesses.
There are some of you you'll go to ask someone and today I've come to help you and I'm I told you I'm not talking down on you.
I'm just saying some of the things I have used. Hopefully somebody can use even one idea next year when you struggle this year. Are you ready? I want to give you some of those tools I have personally used. There is no need of keeping them for myself because I was given these things. So there are only two things I see in church today. People who love money. And the truth is the love of money is the root of all evil.
But also the lack of money is the root of a thousand other evils.
because and it's not God's plan. God wants to restore you financially. So listen to me today.
I need you to know the wanting of material wealth is not something you were born and then you said I am inheriting it from my uncle. Here's what she says in Councils on Stewardship page 148. The desire to accumulate wealth is what?
An original affection of our nature. We come like that.
We all want to accumulate wealth and it is implanted there by the devil. Is that what it is? No. It is not the devil. It is God who gives us that desire to grow to have money. Why? For noble ends. That means do you understand? Yeah. Because money in the hands of the Christian is food for the hungry is clothe for those who are naked. So I want you to take a pen again today. Let's run through your financial bad manners.
Financial >> 10 financial bad manners. I want you to rank. You'll just do on a scale of 1 to 10. Give yourself a rating. How bad are your manners? And by the way, the lessons there's a book to that can help you. If I don't do and finish, please pick this book. It will help you with getting out of debt or if you find the lessons important.
This is just one chapter in this book.
Number one. And I want you to answer this honestly. Honestly. Don't write the question. Just write number one dash.
And then you give yourself on a scale of 1 to 10, how confident do you manage your monthly expenses? Question mark. Do you have a clear budget and do you track expenses or spending effective? That means if you don't financial bad number two, how regularly do you automatically set aside part of your income for savings or investment without overthinking?
If you do, well and good. If you don't financial and I said automatically savings you don't swallow everything financial number three number three how often do you actively invest time resources in improving your read the one you should read financial knowledge m if I went to look at your books at home. One of them strictly deals with money and you want to learn how money works through courses you attend podcast. This week I created seven podcast on money and stewardship. How many have listened?
Can I see? Can I see if you've listened?
Were they good?
You listen to it?
Please listen to those things. The one I keep behind there has more than what you listen to here.
So if you don't financial number four, how free are you from debt?
That means are you actively working towards but you're working towards reducing or eliminating and this one means every kind of debt. If you do well and good, if you don't financial bad manners number five, read this one loudly. Do you have an do you know why you get into debt and then you you are trusting and then you realize small amounts you what what what and you don't have a nest. If you are in business it should be 12 month. If you are employed 3 to 6 month emergency fund if you do well and good if you don't financial this is called diagnosis now you will pay attention to what I'm about to say do you actively work on creating assets that generate income independent of your job for example These for me are assets that generate income independent of my job. I have a job by the way.
Do you know how to part of this lesson will address how to and I'll tell you how to follow up the rest. If you do, well and good. If you don't, but that's a financial bad manners.
Number seven, how often do you what's the word? talk openly and everybody's eyes grow red financial and I have a whole chapter here on how to talk about money without killing each other a whole chapter to help you understand how to talk about money so that you talk to my to your spouse and your children it's important you train your children also if you do well and would if you don't.
Number nine. Number eight. I have 10 of them. Then I'll teach the afternoon.
I'll give you how to solve the bad manners. How confident are you that you are passing healthy financial culture and habits to the next generation? That means your children are saving. Your children know how to work to earn.
If you do, well and good. If you don't number nine, let's finish here. I think no, there are 10. How often do you think strategically about your financial future? By setting goals, by planning 5 years from now, I will move from this house and then you know how to you just say but you don't know. You must know how to. What's the first step? What's the second step?
planning for retirement. Some people are waiting for retirement benefit. Then you'll realize the retirement benefit is slashed down taxed and they give you something that won't help you.
You want to do business. You've never done business in your life. Financial bad manners.
And then your health is also deteriorating. Bad manners.
If you just learn some of these things and these lessons, somebody learns them, write them down, but people won't just read. The last one for today, then we can go into the principles. How well do you manage financial what does that mean? If you have a house, is it insured? That's the question. If you have a business, is it insured? Do you diversify your investment? Do you have plan A and B? If you do, take. If you don't, financial.
When I finish this lesson, I want you to go back to YouTube. These guys are doing a great job to record this lesson. I want you to go back to YouTube and replay this part of bad manas and pick only one thing and act on in one week or in one monthish achieve you look for the next one.
But let me give you some tools of dealing with these things. God has a financial restoration plan. There's something called a budget. John Maxwell said, "Budgeting is telling your money where to go."
Uh-huh.
Impulse is wondering where your money went.
And then you just buy because you feel like, "Was it in the budget?" If it wasn't, don't buy it. This is what John Clonson said. He wrote a very interesting book.
I want you to go and read it. It's called The Richest Man in Babylon. And just read those books. You won't die. I read the Bible. I read Ellen White. I also read George Clon. And George Clson says the truth. He says necessity expense will always grow to equal your income unless you protest.
So that means there's a time then money then you increase your expenses instead of looking for how to invest. So now you are earning more but you're spending more and it's not helping you. He says don't go for impulse. There are two ways of shopping. There are people who shop by looking at the counter.
Do you need everything and then you pick everything? There are people who shop by looking at a budget.
That's how I shop.
And I can tell you if you these are your old grandmother's good advice.
You somebody will still you just knows how to manage the little he's given.
Don't shop when you are angry, hungry, and tired. You'll think you need everything.
That's another good advice.
So budget is basic. You need a basic and easy financial management tool. Don't make it complicated. A budget should tell you the truth about your values. So you can go back and see by it means that's where your value is.
That tells you where your heart is. It determines your current behavior.
Okay. A budget will also tell you small charges, air time, lunch, snacks. If you can manage this, they say if you can ink it, you can think it. So, write it down.
Write it down. There are certain budgeting principles. I'll give them to you. Don't spend everything.
And above it should be 700 and below the 300 should go into number one tithe.
Number two something saved for every 10 you get. Don't use all of them for your everyday's work for your everyday's life. Try EA 7. Prioritize and rationalize. Remove discretionary expense like Wi-Fi. But then do you need Wi-Fi? If you're not working online, you can switch it off for one week, one month, you know, then check the long-term effects of changing your lifestyle instead of a short-term change. Restrict and deny and do what's called value expenditure. Value expenditure means if my 1 hour in Nairobi can add me more time, then I don't have to spend time in easy coach.
I can pay for a flight. So that's called value expenditure. You spend on things you value. So don't just buy things. And then managing how you help others. There are people who are always around you or whatever. There's a whole chapter on this book in how to give generously without being made to feel guilty.
You know those you give because you are you have been ashamed.
No friends, you God when you giving God tithe, it is not a fundraiser you are making.
It is not welfare. You want to plan.
This is how I give my tithe. In the course of the week, part of the worship at home is the question how much have we earned and we calculate and 10% is set aside at home. By the time it's already planned somebody you know massaging your ego you also bring and then you you start complaining. You need to be in charge of how you help others and it needs to be something you measure. You measure. They say whatever you can measure you can understand. Whatever you can understand you can control. Whatever you can control you can change. Financial good manners starts by measurements.
Having said that, if you save let's say six times your monthly expense, but then how will you know that I need six times if you don't know what your monthly expend expense is? You don't know. So you start by writing it down. Then you can use that to build an emergency fund.
Then you you see that the savings will give you freedom. Freedom from debt. It will give you options when someone is selling their house or selling some land. You can always remove money and pay. But it also makes you ready for opportunity. But the question is why don't people save? I have a whole chapter here on why people don't save.
But I have five principles of saving.
Write this five down. Number one, you can't save if you can't have a purpose.
So why are you saving? Number one, I am saving to build an emergency fund.
I am saving to buy a cow for example purpose. Without purpose, no saving. It says where there is no vision, the people perish even financially. Number two, you need a saving percentage. How much will always be saved? Number three, you need a plan. A plan means we are going up to this month or I am saving in money market. That's a place now. Where are you saving? We save. That's not saving.
Saving must make it difficult for you to reach it. And savings don't even have to increase, but you have to be wise to put them in a place where it increases.
Lastly, saving needs priority or discipline. The rest of those explanation you can get in the book.
Well, one of the savings I want you to make, and I'm going to make this a very serious, not a footnote, a serious note.
One of the savings you must make of all your expenditure is tithe. Suppose God came to you at the end of this stewardship week and told you January, February, all the add up your salary by 10. Will you be happy with that salary? Will your salary stay there?
And that's a good question for you. If I were you, I would put God on priority.
But question, how do people become poor?
There are six or seven partners of poverty. And I want you to ignorance.
I am telling you it is diff one of the ways of coming out of poverty.
Take the Bible and read. The Bible is shockingly a book of financial lessons.
Don't be happy and ignorant. Ignorance will always keep you in poverty. Number two, laziness. How do I know you are lazy? If you make excuses, if you blame the government, you are blaming your neighbor.
That is laziness.
The other one victim or entitlement.
Entitlement is we should or victim mentality. I'm an orphan. My friend orphans are making it outside there.
Another another way I know you are lazy is if you have delusion of grandeur where you think you have a lot of money there's a day you know when you are going to marry you can't walk without money so there's a change of money where you don't carry cash. So I told my brother now let's go. So I'm going to an Empessa shop asking them to give me 10,000 shillings.
Four Empa shops didn't have 10,000 shillings and they in business now.
300.
That's laziness.
Another way to know you are lazy is idleness, excess sleep. My mother has taught me something nice all her life and she is probably I think of many of you she could be maybe one or two three people I think but she's still doing good because she has taught us the lesson of rising up early. If you sleep too much I am telling you poverty is waiting for you.
Complete compete now the dead but by all means sleep 6 to 7 hours chakon early to sleep early to rise.
Yeah. Too much TV and social media. So you want to follow a mana a whole one hour is following after football.
Those footballers are aware of a mosquito that beat them one hour ago than they are aware of. They don't even know you exist. We may swallow a whole one hour. Did you know 1 hour Andrew has written a book and finished and that book will sell at 1,500.
You you choose how you use your life by the way. And I used to be a football fan. I'm just saying when I realized you can do a lot with your life, you can change your life. So time wastage on unproductivity.
Lazy people are sting. They procrastinate and you'll find them in some addiction.
This is one way of telling someone is lazy. You just need to give them work.
So avoid this partners of poverty.
Number one, ignorance. Number two, laziness. Number three, unfaithfulness and disobedience. I put that together.
You can't grow. There's a law God has fixed. If you are cheating on your wife, just watch. You have other women's you just wait. You are not going anywhere.
I'm just telling you from the pull pit.
Faithfulness is a serious marker of how you grow even financially.
Disobedience is another one. But let me give you two more. And I want you to avoid these things. Whenever you have a friend who has a does not have investment, stop being their friend.
Look for someone with a mindset of investment.
There are some mentalities that I have to deal with today. Victim mentality.
We are victimized, marginalized, always feeling that someone else owes you, giving excuses.
There was a man, I don't know if you read his story. He was in the pool of Betha. Have you read that guy in John chapter 5? Jamaakqua pool 38 years.
Boss, do you want to be made whole?
Answer. I have no man.
Excuses.
What was the question again? By the way, answer >> or no. So if you asked, do you want to be made whole? What's why are you saying I have no mans? You when people when the water and and he has he has enough excuse.
There's another story. This master had talents. So he looked at the church and said you you can handle five. And talents in the Bible meant one talent was equivalent to today's middle class salary 200,000 shillings 10 or five of those.
The master went when the master came back you read that story. The master called for accounting and said okay bring the accounts. The first guy showed up, he has some investment mentality. He started immediately said, "Master, you gave me five. I made another five. The books will show."
The second guy, "Master, you gave me two. Here's another two. The books will show."
The third guy, I like to think he's an Adventist.
And then he stories.
Train yourself in numbers.
How much should you earn this month?
Numbers. How much should you weigh?
Numbers. After numbers, shut up. How many hours did you do Bible study?
Numbers. Elders.
Chief elder. Train yourself in numbers.
Elder. You are a hard man.
You know, reaping where you never saw. I was afraid. Excuses.
Jesus told this guy at the pool of Beta.
rise up and walk. Then he rose up. I'm like, he could rise up.
38 years.
We are black.
That's a bad mind. You'll grow poor with that mindset.
Minority, poor background. transmit you are from a poor background. We revised it. If you reach 20 years and you say you are from a poor background, you are the background.
In the Bible, 20 years is an adult.
Excuses. It's a mindset. You use it to shift responsibility away from you. God wants you to take responsibility. The second mindset is blame mentality.
Someone else goes ahead of me. He blames the governmental weather traffic village people. Why did you fail school curriculum? No. No.
And your your children have a way of learning it.
Tell them to take responsibility. Why are you poor? Company policy. Uh-uh.
Company policy.
Why are you late for church board traffic? This is the first time you're born in Migori Ken Bridge.
The day, listen to this paragraph. The day you learn to grow from childhood to adulthood is the day you learn to take personal responsibility of everything happening in your life. Can I repeat that? Some of you think age comes with wisdom. It is not true. To some people, age comes alone.
Take personal responsibility.
It will allow you to cut down your bills. Take responsibility. It's not your relatives. There's a good song. Not my mother, not my brother, but it's me of Lord. If I will get rich, it has nothing to do with my parents.
It has nothing to do with the church. It is on me. And God gives everyone a privilege.
That's what Solomon said. Time and chance happens to every man. Another mentality I want you to avoid is which mentality? Read it out there.
Consumer mentality always thinks the grass is greener on the other side.
So there's a guy in the Bible, his name was Lot. So Lot Abraham and then Abraham tells him the place had enough grass.
A few moments later, the guy is inside Sodom. I read it why he how he ended up in Sodom. He went with his animals. He swallowed everything.
They don't care how it grows. They don't know how this church is built.
They don't know how food was made.
Nomadic, you will grow poor. I'm telling you, take responsibility when something is being done. Be in charge. be there know that this is my contribution in it.
God wants us to be involved. Can I hear an amen?
>> This is a hard saying. This is a hard lesson but it has to be taught because I know it is going to to remove a lot of people from bondage. Nomadic also young people don't be happy you don't have an address. Vagabond no fixed address you know they deplete and move on. They don't finish a project.
Foundation, foundation, foundation everywhere in the country. Finish one.
Do you understand?
Take one project and finish. You've been writing for 600 years. Finish.
Jesus is the author and finisher. Start a project and do what?
Nomadism does not finish. They keep moving from one job.
something else.
Take time and grow depth.
And I am speaking with understanding. I have been on this for 10 years. You know, I could change and say now I want to become musician. Now I'm recording.
The next day is you I'm doing what?
Uh-uh. Stay on one thing until you have mastered it. Then you can move to the next. You understand? I mastered speaking first then I went to writing.
Now I'm mastering writing. I write at the speed of light.
This week only I have written almost over 180 pages.
He's okay into books.
Just wait. Just wait. Just wait. Wander us without any plan to own anything.
Please own somewhere. Buy some land. You are not cast to become a tenant. Your grandfather rented, your father rented, you're also renting. No, it is not a generational c. You can buy a small piece of plot. It's thinking.
Materialism. This one is another one I want you to avoid. Number five, and this is the last one. Materialism is where you want to look wealthy, but inside there's nothing. Emptiness. But I pro I promise you, I'll come and tell you when you build wealth, don't just have material money. That's the basic. There is spiritual wealth. Wealth is serving your unique purpose to the world. There is character wealth. A man can get fulfilled.
There is no anti-corruption looking for you. Know that those are part of wealth.
But there's something I want to add to you. I see we ignore it. Number three.
Can you read for me? Number three.
A lot of us don't think that health is wealth. Take care of your health irrespective of which stage you are in in life because it will help you to make more wealth. So don't just be satisfied that you have material financial wealth only. I have put that as number eight.
It is the lowest knowledge.
You don't have experience. That's why it's called wealth of experience travel.
You'll be like ah experience is part of wealth. Career there are some of you who have jobs.
It's called the slow burning path of wealth. That's the last chapter in this book. How to grow your career to become wealth. So don't ignore it. There's something you can do if you want to build all these dimensions of wealth.
Let's see if I can add some more.
There's one law of financial freedom. I want you to write this down.
And I'm going to give you definition.
There are two definitions from your business class. There was asset and liability. Can you say those two words with me? Number one, >> asset. The other one is >> Now, whatever you are taught, I'm going to give you a basic definition of asset.
An asset is anything that puts money in your pocket. Say that with me. An asset is anything that puts money.
A liability is anything that removes money from your pocket. Now you understand.
>> Now what I want you to do is this is the first law of financial freedom. Income follows assets. Say that loudly. Income follows >> assets. So, I want you to ask yourself, what is an asset for you? Let me ask you, do you think this is an asset for me?
>> Huh?
>> It is.
>> What if somebody has a business? Is that an asset for him?
>> What if they can do photography and he buys a camera like this and he's beating people photos and he's being paid? Is that an asset?
>> Yes.
>> Now, you know what an asset is? But what if someone buys a car and he's not using it for an Uber and he has to pay for maintenance?
That's a liability.
But you should come to a point where you you should grow from. Now what is an asset?
An asset is the product of three things.
There are lowhanging assets. You can get number one mindset. Number one is what?
How you think that's what we've dealt with. Number two, skill set.
You can talk to people. Do you know I'm paid more for talking than for engineering.
I thought you should know if you called me to your company, I charge heftily seriously to come and teach these things.
I don't want to say how much. You might think I need security, but I'm paid more on one hour of speech.
That is because of my skill. Did I go to school to study speech? No. I just realized and some of you are good with children.
That's a skill you need to grow. You can be paid for it. So don't crumb. Some of you when you cook when you cook people leak there and then you don't have a restaurant that's a waste cindio and you don't have to be the one cooking you can teach them some of you are so organized and we are struggling to organize our calendars listen asset equals number one mindset times >> number three is tool set do you have tools of working of producing And there are some young people here I have to help. I added for them a slide here. Young people need to grow skills of job hunting, skills of negotiation.
If you've lost your job, you're looking for a job, you need to also have employee skills. Do you know there are employees who are are are um in in the workplace promotion because they know how to laugh at the boss's jokes.
So you need to know employee skills of just showing up. Isn't it taking ensuring that guy is helped? God has a way before he gives you your own. He puts you under the charge of someone else. As a young person, you need to have employee skills. Lastly, you need entrepreneurship skills. And I'm going to talk about this in the next 5 minutes. Then I ask give you some time for question. So entrepreneurship, by the way, if you want to know, there are only three ways known of making money.
You cannot make money through your career sour or invest or become an entrepreneur.
So those who are careers I told you about salary salary we said is fixed is predefined. You can't transfer to your children. It can be stopped. It can be reduced. It can be withheld. That's the problem of salary. It is the slowest path of becoming rich. But you can transfer salary into investment to become rich. Salary also does not show your true worth because I've been paid 300,000 on one training for one day.
Something that government will not pay you. So that's not your true worth. P salary also can keep you in what zone?
There's a poverty zone and it keeps you a servant. They even give you a good name. They call you civil.
So, and don't don't resign. What I'm saying is this. Use your salary to do the next thing to become an entrepreneur. If you have a business, if you have a shop, open your eyes on this next slide. Some of you think that if you have a product, you want to sell clothes, you want to sell shoes, you want to sell chairs, you want to sell mahindi, it that's where you start. That is entrylevel product. Don't just say I am going to start selling. You must ask yourself the second question. Well, you are selling product. Number two, how do you sell it? Let me ask you some of you KFC.
Huh?
Chicken.
Do you know some of you? Is there somebody who has a very good hotel in this country? in this and people go there to eat. I need to use KFC.
Okay.
FC makes a lot of money with the chicken. How? They have a system that delivers the product.
They have a way of capturing your attention. They have someone who does this.
Don't have a business that doesn't have a system. So study systems and those things I've written about someone will not read.
The statistics are 90% of businesses fail within one year. The 10 that remain another 95% of them fail within 5 years.
Reason people think if they have a product they have business not yet. You want to sell something. Question number two, how will it be delivered? How will you be known that you exist?
I have a speaking business.
So every time I speak, I give my number, I give my website, I make advertisement.
That's a communication system. How do you tell the people you exist and I challenge your stewardship leaders in the next stewardship in September, I can help you organize something called stewardship summit so that as a church, you can let other church members know what you offer. Communication, how do people find you? That's why big businesses have sales. So don't ignore it.
product system. How do people know?
It's an important part of business. The other one is cash flow and we ignore this. And I like to use Abraham's uh the Bible has three ratios. 30 30% put that in real estate. So don't put all your money in land. The other 30% in business. Why? Sometimes you want money and all your money is locked in land.
business can bring you profits a little quickly. The other 30% is equity cash.
You must be liquid to a certain extent and you change the proportions as you grow up. We give it a 50. You start adding on the equity side.
The other one is people is part of business. Your staff must be trained.
They must act on your behalf as if you're the one who is acting. They must be people who bear your burden and don't have staff with bad attitude and you keep them there and you think you have a business.
If you know how to hire them and fire them, you will be happy. Number six and the last one for today. You need to know I've seen many businesses begin but someone doesn't know the legals around that business. A few days can join Auja.
Legal is important. With that friends I would like to invite you ah this one I have to teach this one is important there are ratios that I want you to observe in your financial stewardship number one a 10th sacred ratio anything I've said that number two there's something called work and rest ratio work is supposed to be six days don't make rest as an objective rest is supposed to be to rejuvenate to reflect to think through. That's why we have a Sabbath rest. Number three, you can also use something called 70 to 30 bread and seed ratio. I said about that don't swallow everything. Then there's the 30 20 30 ratio. Sorry 50 20 30 ratio. I'm going to share with you that this one.
So you get your money ensure that and you can keep increasing fundamentals is rent food you can't escape this basics.
So ensure that in your this is gratitude in this quadrant is money you must always pay every day but don't miss fun.
Budget for fun and you can keep changing it this way or that way. What is fun? a new clothes it will show up then budget also for your future how you buy your books a course or something like that that is really important for those of you who need frugal mathematics if you're going to buy don't buy 20 bob every day that's how you grow poor buy in bulk you know travel offse negotiate eat at home where possible. Buy what you can afford and augment your earnings. For those of you are thinking of buying homes, building homes, I brought something for you to think about because home ownership because of the prestige but you don't think about it. But home ownership is important because a lot of people in this country don't have homes.
So it's your privilege.
Fathers and mothers who possess a piece of land and a comfortable home are what?
Read for me. Kings and queens. So my prayer is but when you are going to take a mortgage for a home think about it like this. Don't stretch the mortgage into all your life. That's why young people need this lessons. 15 years is good enough. If you take a mortgage for 20 25 years also think about how much you remain with as take home. It should not go beyond 0.25 uh or uh you know a quarter of your salary. So home ownership should start when you are ready. It can slow you down but pay your debt first. Build an emergency fund then you'll be ready to own a home. I know you're wondering why did you put all the emphasis on this?
The question of money is important because God is concerned with our well-being. But number two, materialism.
How you deal with money is going to be our last test before the mark of the beast is announced. They will want you not to buy or sell. So I want you to reorder your stewardship priorities around money. Relational stewardship indicates your daily worship. So put God as your priority every day. Benefit God's cause, but also prioritize godly contentment. Teach it to your children.
Allow your investment margin to grow so you don't swallow everything. And with the help of God, you can get out of debt. Some of you will need this book. I am telling you this book was written from like almost a whole year's research of financial problems. we go through.
But some of you may want to be taught in steps how to discover something they are good at and develop that thing and deploy it for income, for impact and for influence. I created a course called monetize your passion. People have found help. People have come to this course.
You can ask me. I can help you to get through it so that you also get to know how you can earn even while you are here in Migori with the information age you should not be poor with that may God abundantly abundantly bless you if you want to make any follow up any question I want you to write that number thank you for listening but if you want to be taught how to monetize even singing can be monetized even administration can be monetized you can be paid paid extra. I have written for myself a second paycheck from my own teaching ability.
So what did I do?
I wrote it somewhere and I want to help only those who are serious. So if you are one of these people just text the word monetize your passion to that number. I will help you personally. Can I take some questions sir? Maybe three four. I think I've done well.
I'm ready to go to Nairobi.
If you don't ask, I will go back with the knowledge.
Masualis ask. Can I see? I want to pray so that we close. One here. Please give her the microphone. Another one. Can I see your hand questions?
Ask anything from the week to today to the future. You can ask for a friend.
Give her the mic. Can I see another hand?
I'll write your questions as you speak.
>> Thank you. Thank you very much. Uh me personally, I'm blessed throughout the week with your teachings. Now my question is about saving saving account.
>> Are there other other places where we can save safely?
>> Nice. That's a good question. If you didn't ask that, you won't get the answer you're going to get. If you put food in your fridge, does it increase.
Has anybody put food in the fridge?
Huh?
So that's the wisdom. When you save, you need to know the purpose for saving. For me, I'll tell you how I save. I save for a project. When you save, you need to calculate something called the time value of money. Okay, time value of money means there's a time I was building. I went to the shop. I asked for Chuma metal. They told me hardware.
They told me the metal is Chuma's metal bars. Zakuena is 58. It was 50,000. But I also needed a little more for the Fundies and for Simiti and Sambao. So I said, "Ah, I don't still have the money. Let me go and look for the other 20,000 for cime so that we fix this part." One month later, I came back to buy the same amount of cement. It was 58,000.
And I learned my lesson that I should have some savings doesn't have to be bank. I should have just bought that thing candle because now my 50k could not buy what I want. So you need to know different ways of preserving value of your money. The content of saving is not just to increase the value. If you want to increase the value, do something called investment and teach yourself.
Yes, there are money market funds. I have my some of my money in money market funds. Study them. I can give you a number of someone to help you. If you're saving for long term, they are government bonds. I am sure this church.
So but if you are saving for a short time let's say you want to start a business in 6 months then you want to look for a place where the money comes back to you to start your business. So it's not about saving to increase the money but the purpose of saving is what determines the place of saving. Did I answer that well? So if you want the money to grow if you want your food to grow you plant it.
You don't put it in the fridge. If you put it in the fridge, it might be there the same amount. So, if you take your money to the bank, that's one way of putting your food to the fridge. It's the same thing. But there are many uh ways. You can also text me. I can give you specific other areas of saving. That was a good question. Can I take a second one? I see a hand here. Where's another hand?
Please take to him the mic. Another hand. One more.
Okay. I will not be in Migori so long.
So ask now. We are closing this up. We are wrapping this up. It's been a good week. Thank you sir. Ask the question now. He's here.
Thank you pastor for the good teachings at least we have received >> at a point of time. Please pastor with due respect I heard you say h if you had been a worker unemployed >> if you had been >> working employed >> yes >> and don't wait until you retire >> yes >> is when you do business >> but there are some jobs that you cannot do business while still in the job >> that's a good question >> so when you retire whatever little you are getting >> okay >> must you Just stay there that there is no business you can start >> because you did not start business when you are still >> when you're still working.
>> Retirees are not to do business.
>> That's a good one. Let me answer it. I think you got the point.
>> Don't wait until you retire to start.
Can somebody give me another sentence for that? Start now. That's what I meant. Then you said there are some businesses you do that don't give you time. The reason why I put up the slide if your business requires you personally that's not a business there must be a system that can run without you to learn that ma because retiree you have to show up every day it will give you mental health gather a lot of disease. So the earlier you start the earlier you gather the skills that oh if I hire this this is how somebody can manage when I'm not there. So you can become not that a retiree should do nothing because that's also not good for your health. But it's not transferring all that burden into you. Now you are a CEO of a business. You've never worked with people. Now you have to you have to tell people where your business is and you're now you know getting tired. So you need to respect the natural aging of life where you're still working. Yes.
Join this course. I can teach you how to start a business without being there. By the this course teaches you how to start a business without capital. Number one.
Number two without resigning from your business.
So yes, your question is right. You can start but I want you to start early.
Number two, a business should run without you. If it runs with you, even entry level now grow so that it can run without you. Does that make sense? Now, I thank you for that question. Can I take the last one? This is an intelligent audience.
Well, I know some of you will bring the questions um physically. I wanted to I'm not seeing pastor.
I wanted is Oh, there's an hand there.
Yeah, please ask. That would be the last one.
>> Yes, I have a question.
>> Yes.
>> Uh when you invest in uh lands and the other person invest on bonds, which one is the best one?
>> Good question. You you need does somebody remember Ecclesiastes 11:2?
That's the answer. Did you read? Were you here when I gave Ecclesiastes 11:2?
So look for it. The answer is in that text. It's a biblical answer. So don't invest in lands saying it is better than bonds or invest in bonds saying it's better than business. Invest in seven ventures. If you can go to eight understand when you buy land what amount of land and spread some real estate 30% then some business maybe bonds 30% and keep growing. So there is I can't say this is better but depends on what you can start with you know what is available in your area. So that's the good answer I will give to that. Um, I wanted Uhhuh. Let's see. I know some of you will come for this book, but there are people I wanted to give to before I leave here.
Uh, is that another question?
Yeah, because I know they will bless this church later.
I wanted to just say thank you one for trusting me with this opportunity to come over to teach you and I've seen that you're a good audience willing to learn.
Uh maybe let me let me let me wait I'll be given guidance. I can come back. Please just remember that I have a gift I wanted to give to one or two of us right right away. We Okay, I can't hear.
Maybe let me just get guidance.
>> Yes.
>> On their behalf. Right.
>> Okay.
So I think and because pastor is here I've been asked to talk on your behalf.
So I will ask you cuz I'm talking on your behalf to talk on I'll ask the uh elders please come up front for me. I have spoken a lot today.
I just wanted to thank this church keep growing and um I wanted to put this book in the hands of a few of you not that they cannot afford but because they have touched me in special ways. So when pastor comes back I will reveal who that is. I'll give three gifts because I know if they're in your environment given as a gift you will definitely get to read the book. But um we can have a discount discussion after the session. Please pick these books. We write them for you not for money. So if you really need them, just come for them. I would be glad to pray over your financial issues. This book anytime I give it out, I write my personal prayer for your finances. And I know God has helped us to bless many people through this book. It's a book I want every I want it to be in everybody's hand. I wish I could print it for free and give it to you because I know it will help you. So may God bless you. May God hear you when you call. May he supply your needs and keep on the stewardship. If you made any vow to God, please don't go back on it. Keep supporting the church. Build the church.
It is the easiest way to see God's working. With that, I want to hand over this to the next team. God bless you.
I'll be coming back for a final prayer and to hand over the gifts to the three people I wanted to gift. So just be sure you are here because it might be you.
You never know.
Okay, let's let's stand for prayer.
Let's to sim but do not leave after the prayer.
There's still a a program elder will tell you. Let's pray.
Heavenly Father, we thank you because you care about our finances. You care about our home, our lives. Thank you for the privilege to learn today, to hear your word, and to hear the admonitions of uh how we can restore our lives financially and materially. I pray that when you have blessed us, we will remember to bless your name, to praise you, and to lift up your course. There are people here who are planning to start business. I pray that you will open their ways. There are businesses that have been opened. We pray that you will grow them and profit them. There are employments that are about to come to retirement. I pray Lord that you will give them wisdom that they will grow from this uh employment and those who are just starting. There are those who need jobs. Open ways for each and every one of us. The doors we will knock, may you open them and bless us for we pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
