Why Whales Jump Out of the Water 😨

[00:00:00]When you see a whale explode out of the ocean, it looks majestic. But most of the time, it's pure frustration. Their skin gets [music] covered by barnacles, tiny parasites that itch nonstop and dig in deep. So, whales launch themselves into the air, crashing back down hoping the impact [music] knocks them loose.

[00:00:21]Here's the unbelievable part. Some whales swim up to boats, [music] slowly roll over, and present the exact spots that need help. And humans scrape them off. Whales just stay there, calm, waiting. Because they've learned something wild. Humans can use tools, [music] and we can do what they can't. Some even come back later for help again.
