This update marks a successful transition from basic functionality to behavioral refinement, making the AI feel more like a seasoned driver than a learning machine. While Memory Parking is a practical addition, the real progress lies in the incremental polishing of complex real-world interactions.

First Drive in FSD 14.3.5. Very Impressive
Added:Well, look what I just got.
14.3.5 We're going to do our first drive.
Here we go. Where are we going?
Where do I always go? Meadow.
We're going to Meadow coffee shop and we're going to see what happens.
Very excited about this build. I'm very excited about seeing what happens when we get there with parking.
Now, there's a lot of excitement going around about this build. Everybody who has received it, especially all the um the guys that the first releases go to.
Guys like uh Omar up in California, Holmar's catalog, guys like sorry I married uh Dirty Tesla, other people like that.
They already have this out there and they are just they can't talk enough about it.
This is really really exciting.
So, let's just sit back, relax, and see what it does.
Okay, definitely more definitely more assertive.
If you're uh if you're using full self-driving, you know that when it comes up to those stop signs, it feels like it takes an endless amount of time to make that that little move forward.
And right there, it seemed very assertive.
Very smooth.
Um it there's no jerkiness, there's no I mean, there's not there wasn't jerkiness on the last build, but you know, first impression, it just feels really really smooth.
This is just a you know, obviously your basic two-lane road here. This is a kind of a heavy populated area also. There's not all Although this morning there's not a lot of traffic.
I don't know what it is, but when it rains in the south, people hibernate.
Meanwhile, we need the rain, for sure.
So, and then you have people like this who just pull out in front of you and of course FSD doesn't get angry.
Doesn't uh FSD doesn't have a middle finger. That's what I like about it.
It just kind of gets out of the way and I I'm sure in its own mind it's saying, "Go ahead, idiot.
Rush to the next stop sign." So, how far did that person get? There they are right there.
Our famous roundabout. Now, this is a the traffic circle roundabout. I call them roundabouts, but we got a lot of those around here and it's certainly a great test for FSD.
Are you bored yet?
I kind of am, because you know what?
Full self-driving is getting so good that it's actually boring.
I mean, this is about as close as we're going to get.
Tell me your thoughts. And do me a favor.
I just figured out that 70% of the people who watch my videos are not subscribed.
Please, if you wouldn't mind, just drop down there, hit the subscribe button.
Subscribing is free. I really wish they'd change the name of it because it sounds like you have to pay, like you subscribe to Netflix or some other thing.
But no, it's free. You just push that little button down there and uh it helps my channel phenomenally.
I can guarantee you if 15 people on this video alone, watching this video, hit the subscribe button, I would probably get hundreds, if not thousands more views.
So, please do that.
I don't know if you saw the guy in that pickup truck there. He his pickup truck bed was down. That's really dangerous. That's why you travel around here, you see ladders and paint buckets and all kinds of stuff.
Nobody seems to want to secure anything in the back of their vehicles.
This car is so smooth.
If you have not experienced full self-driving IRL you know what IRL is, right? In real life.
You are really missing out.
So, get out there. There's a link in the comments of this video and in the description.
You can go test drive a Tesla.
Um many cases they will deliver the car to you.
Meaning there are locations usually at superchargers where they will drop off test vehicles.
You will walk up.
They will allow you access and you take a test drive by yourself.
I mean, let's face it. They're not worried about you stealing the car because it's the cameras all over it.
That's another reason too to own a Tesla, by the way, because our cars are like our own security service.
You know, when I'm asleep at night my car's cameras are on.
And they're watching everything that's going on around the car in the driveway.
So, think of it as your Ring doorbell for some other part of your property.
Security is everything, right? Very hard to steal a Tesla. It's almost impossible to steal a Tesla. How do you steal a car that has cameras?
I mean, even if you were dumb enough to think you could and you tried to walk up to the cameras and break the cameras.
It wouldn't end well.
It also has location tracking.
And for as much as we're all everybody seems to be scared of technology like this.
It really is saving us a lot of money in the long run. I believe that Tesla will be the driver pun intended to bring down the cost of automobile insurance. Tesla insurance itself is already operating.
I believe in 13 states. I haven't checked in a while.
Um so if you have access to Tesla insurance in your state, you are going to save an enormous amount of money on insurance.
So give yourself that gift if it's available. I think 13 states. I know close to me, I think Florida is the only state.
Um I sure wish it was available here in South Carolina.
But that's not happening.
Speed bumps obviously, it's been it's been working speed bumps a long time.
Very, very smooth.
Now just watch this stop sign. Watch what happens here. See, typically it would come up and it would stop.
And then it felt like it took forever for it to move, right?
But not today. See that?
That's perfect. And by the way, when people are behind you and they get mad cuz you're stopped, they're breaking the law. Don't worry about them.
You are supposed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign and then go.
And I thought the timing at that stop sign was really perfect.
You know, I don't care how you cut the mustard. I'm driving right now in a robo-taxi.
I could have walked out the door, sat in the back seat of this car, and it would take me perfectly to this coffee shop.
Now let's hope there's parking because if there's not this video doesn't end well because you can only expect the car to do so much. And it turns out there is a couple of parking spaces. So, let's do what it does. Now, remember the video I did the other day about memory? How it parks me where I where I I like to be. It's usually one of these two spots here.
And here we go again.
Very interesting.
Very interesting.
Well, that, my friends, is 14.3.5.
Extremely smooth.
I'm really impressed.
Thanks for watching.
