This video teaches five signs of spiritual darkness in people: (1) rejecting Jesus and biblical truth with hostility, (2) causing division, strife, and confusion in relationships, (3) displaying uncontrollable anger and hatred as a spiritual foothold, (4) engaging in occult practices like divination or tarot, and (5) showing no repentance while living in continuous rebellion. The video explains that these signs differ from normal struggles with sin, as they indicate spiritual bondage rather than mere human weakness. It emphasizes that spiritual darkness operates subtly through people close to us, and that deliverance requires prayer, fasting, and the authority of God's Word.

How To Spot Demons In Friends And FamilyAdded:
How to spot demons in friends and family. Have you ever felt an unexplainable heaviness when certain people walk into a room? Have you noticed sudden chaos, confusion, or destructive patterns in relationships that seem almost supernatural? The Bible warns us that not everyone who smiles in your face is sent by God. Some people are unknowingly or even willingly carrying spirits that seek to destroy, manipulate, and deceive. Jesus himself discerned the hidden forces at work behind Peter's words when he said, "Get behind me, Satan." Matthew 16:23. But how can you recognize the presence of spiritual influence in your loved ones?
What subtle signs does the enemy use to operate through people close to you?
Today, I'm revealing five signs of spiritual darkness in those around you and how to discern what is really going on. We will uncover how the enemy works through people, what scripture says about exposing darkness, and most importantly, how to stand firm in the power of Christ. So stay with me until the end because this is not just information. It is spiritual armor that could change your life. Number one, they reject Jesus and biblical truth. When a person repeatedly resists the truth of God's word, denies the deity of Jesus or mocks the principles of righteousness, there is a spirit at work behind their actions. Now, let us understand something. There is a difference between a secular person who struggles in sin and a person who is spiritually influenced by darkness. A secular person who does not know Christ may still possess a heart that seeks truth. They may wrestle with faith, be entangled in sin, or be burdened by worldly distractions. Yet, they do not hold an inherent hatred for Christ. However, a person under spiritual deception will not only reject the truth, but will be hostile toward it. They will despise the name of Jesus, become irrationally offended by biblical teachings, and lash out against those who speak God's word.
Have you ever noticed how some people react with intense anger when the name of Jesus is mentioned? You can talk about spirituality, the universe, positive energy, or even God in a general sense, and the world will embrace it. But the moment you declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, John 14:6, the atmosphere shifts. The conversation becomes tense.
The expressions on their faces change.
And suddenly you are accused of being intolerant. Why? Because the forces of darkness recognize and tremble at the authority of Jesus Christ. The enemy is not threatened by morality or human goodness. He is threatened by truth. And truth is a person, Jesus Christ. Second Corinthians 4:4 tells us, "The God of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel." Number two, they cause division, strife, and confusion.
Beloved, the enemy is not always obvious. He does not always come in the form of a roaring lion. Sometimes he works subtly, creeping into families, churches, and communities, sewing seeds of division, strife, and confusion. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that discord and conflict are markers of spiritual influence from darkness. James 3:16 warns us, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." Proverbs 6:19 lists among the things the Lord hates the one who sews discord among brethren.
Family, I want you to recognize this.
The spirit of division is not just a personality issue. It is a spiritual attack. From the very beginning, the enemy has been using division as one of his most effective weapons. In the Garden of Eden, he divided man from God by introducing sin. Have you ever met someone who seems to thrive in conflict?
Every room they enter is filled with tension. Every conversation is laced with gossip, accusation, and drama. The devil understands something that many believers do not. Unity is power. When people stand together, pray together, and move as one, there is nothing that can stop them. This is why Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that they may all be one.
Now, hear me clearly. Not every disagreement comes from darkness. Some disagreements are necessary. Some conflicts are divine moments of correction. A true friend will correct you in love. Proverbs 27-6 tells us, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend.
But if a person's words are constantly pitting people against each other, planting seeds of doubt or encouraging rebellion against godly authority, it is not of God." 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us, "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace." Number three, they display uncontrollable anger and hatred.
One of the strongest indicators of spiritual influence from darkness in a person's life is uncontrollable anger and hatred. This is not just a personality flaw. This is not just a short temper. This is a spiritual foothold that the enemy uses to bring destruction. The Bible warns us in Galatians 5:19-21 about the works of the flesh, listing hatred, discord, fits of rage, and dissensions as markers of spiritual darkness. Ephesians 4:26-27 gives us a critical warning. In your anger, do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. And do not give the devil a foothold. Let that last phrase sink in. Anger is an entry point. It is a doorway through which dark forces can enter and establish strongholds in a person's mind, emotions, and actions. Now, let us be clear. Not all anger is sinful. There is a difference between righteous anger and destructive anger. Jesus himself demonstrated righteous anger when he entered the temple and saw people turning his father's house into a den of thieves. But notice something. His anger was controlled. His anger was directed at injustice. His anger was not fueled by pride, hatred, or self-interest. But when a person is dominated by anger, when they lash out without control, when they carry a spirit of bitterness and resentment, that is not of God. Satan has been using anger as a weapon since the beginning of time. In Genesis 4, when Cain became jealous of Abel, God warned him, "Sin is crouching at your door. It desires to have you, but you must rule over it." But Cain did not rule over his anger. Instead, he allowed it to consume him. Do you see how the enemy works? First, he plants seeds of bitterness. Then, he nurtures them with offense. And finally, he pushes people toward destruction. So, how do you protect yourself from people controlled by these spirits? Recognize the warning signs early. If someone in your life is always angry, always bitter, always looking for a fight, understand that this is not normal. Set healthy boundaries. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Pray for them, but do not tolerate harm. You can intercede for someone without allowing them to destroy your peace. Sometimes the best thing you can do is love from a distance. Number four, they engage in occult practices and love darkness.
Beloved, when a person is drawn to darkness, when they flirt with the occult, when they dabble in what God has explicitly forbidden, they are playing with fire that does not simply burn the flesh but consumes the soul. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Lord makes it unmistakably clear, "There shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens or a sorcerer or a medium. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord."
The occult is not innocent entertainment. It is not harmless curiosity. It is a direct invitation for darkness to enter a person's life. The enemy is crafty. He does not always present himself in frightening ways. No, he masquerades as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14. Packaging darkness in ways that seem intriguing, empowering, or even healing. We see this in our culture today. Witchcraft has been repackaged as self-discovery.
Astrology is disguised as understanding your energy. Tarot cards are marketed as spiritual guidance. But let me tell you, this is deception.
The enemy knows that the moment a person seeks power, knowledge, or answers outside of God, they are stepping into rebellion. Isaiah 8:19 warns us. When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists who whisper and mutter, "Should not a people inquire of their God?" Some may say, "But it is just for fun." The enemy does not care whether you believe it or not. What matters is that you engage. You do not have to worship darkness for it to influence you. You only need to give it access.
Number five, they show no repentance and live in continuous rebellion. This is the most dangerous state a person could find themselves in where their conscience is silenced, their heart is hardened, and they no longer see the need for transformation. Jesus himself declared in John 8:34, "Everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
Not someone who stumbles and gets back up. Not someone who struggles and cries out to God for help, but a slave. One who is bound and controlled." There is a difference between struggling with sin and being enslaved to it. A struggling person is in a battle. They wrestle, they fall, but they get back up. They cry out to God. They repent. They desire to be free. But an enslaved person has surrendered. They no longer feel conviction. They justify their actions.
They reject correction. They may even take pride in their rebellion, wearing their sin as an identity instead of seeing it as bondage. 2 Timothy 2:25-26 tells us that those who oppose the truth must be gently instructed in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth and that they will come to their senses and escape the trap of the enemy. Did you hear that? Taken captive. That means sin is not just a matter of human weakness. It is a spiritual prison that requires divine intervention to escape.
Some of you may be asking, "But what if someone I love is in this condition?
What if they are trapped and they refuse to listen? Oh beloved, this is where spiritual warfare begins. You cannot argue someone out of spiritual bondage.
You cannot debate them into righteousness. No, this requires prayer and fasting. This requires the power of the Holy Spirit to break chains that no human wisdom can unlock. Jesus told his disciples in Mark 9:29, "This kind can come out only by prayer and fasting." I know this is heavy. I know this is urgent, but that is why I must ask you today, who are you fighting for? Who in your family needs prayer? Who in your circle is suffering? Who have you watched fall deeper and deeper while their heart grows colder toward God? I challenge you right now. Do not accept their condition as permanent. God is able to break every chain. Every stronghold must bow to the name of Jesus. But he is calling for intercessors, for warriors, for believers who will not sit idly by while the enemy takes hold of their loved ones. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2, "Now is the time of God's favor.
Now is the day of salvation. You do not have to remain in chains. Jesus has already paid the price for your freedom.
But you must choose to walk out of your prison. So as we conclude this teaching, I ask you, will you take this seriously?
Will you commit to fighting for their freedom in prayer? Will you stand on the authority of God's word and declare that the enemy will not have the final say over your household? Take this message beyond this moment. Take it into your prayer life. Take it into your home and begin to break every foothold the enemy has tried to establish because where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
