[00:00:02]Even the most horrific scenes in in a in written a written word or in movies are have to be beautiful in one way or another. Um Schindler's List. Yeah.

[00:00:19]>> What could be more horrific than that?

[00:00:21]But it's a beautiful movie. Yeah.

[00:00:23]>> And they went to incredible pains to make up every frame, you know, work. I mean, cuz if it's not beautiful you know, we are in a world of anxiety Yeah. these days, right? With the politics and everything that's going on, ice and all this You look at, you know, read the news and you're going to kill yourself.

[00:00:41]But I think an antidote to anxiety is beauty. Um it's all unfortunately only lasts for the moment.

[00:00:50]But there's something about and this must God must have built this into the world in some crazy way that uh it's got to be beautiful. The prose has to be beautiful, the rhythm has to be the beautiful, the framing of the shot has to be beautiful uh no matter how horrible it is.

[00:01:08]Um and somehow that beauty saves us in some crazy way.
