Cash Stuffing $740| July 2026 | Single Mom 26-65
Added:Hey guys, it's Barb from Barbin Budgets and welcome or welcome back to my channel. I'm so glad you're here. In today's video, I am going to rest stuff my wallet for this upcoming week. I'm going to do just a couple scing funds and I'm going to do the graduation savings challenge. So, you guys, if you saw my last video, you know that I have hurt my shoulder and um I can now like stretch my arm out to here, but what I can't do is like pick my arm up. I have to like literally hold it up and then if I let go it falls. So I have been to the doctor um and he knows that I have a shoulder injury, probably a rotator cuff injury by the way the different um tests he did.
So I have to have an MRI. I can't have the MRI until um the pre-authorization comes through and that can be up to 10 days. So, it's not scheduled until the end of July. So, um I can move my arm a little more. The inflammation seems to be going down and a lot of the bruising is gone. At the upper part of my arm, it's pretty bruised still. Um the back of my elbow is pretty bruised. So, I'm getting better, guys. And like I said, I can move it. I can move my hand. I can use my hand. I just cannot like lift from my elbow up.
[snorts] Anyway, I'm not going to count what I have here today because you guys, these are brand new 20s and like I don't want to fumble through that. So, I'll be doing most of the work with this hand anyway. All right, we're going to start with my wallet. And I'm not I'm going to be honest, guys. I have no idea what's going on in this wallet because it's just been a hot mess. And I have a bunch of receipts that I need to scan in to Fetch into um the other apps that I use.
All my apps are listed down below if you're interested in looking at those.
If you use my links, um, I get a little extra, you get a little extra, and it's pretty awesome. All right, so in dining out, looks like I have $10 remaining.
So, we'll set that over here, and we're going to add 25 for this week.
Okay, this might just be Oh, this poor envelope has had it. It's Yeah, I got to get those other envelopes in here. Gas has $5 remaining and we're going to put 25 for this week.
So, you guys know what my new side hustle is. You've seen the video. So, I'm gonna have to start using gas money from there because um yeah, I'm using up some gas doing that side hustle. All right, so let's see what I have left in here for groceries. So, we have a B, a B, a D, a D, a D. So, those five are going to go into the Bucks envelopes.
And then we have 20, 40, 60, 80, 90, and 95. I think I'm going to take the 15, put it towards savings challenges, and then we'll have 80, and I'm going to add 125. So 20, oh boy. 20, 40, 60, 80, 1, 20, and five. So that should be 205. I think the other crazy thing you guys is that my other arm, my left arm, this one is getting pretty sore because Oh, this household has to come out. I spent this.
I spent it. I spent it. Um, it belonged to the grocery money. So, we'll just put it there. Well, we're going to put the $10 back in there because we're going to add 10 in. But that $10 should have been for groceries. I'll put it here. Maybe I should Well, that's okay. It's okay.
Miscellaneous is going to get five. So, like I was saying, like this left arm is so sore because it's getting a lot of work. It's getting a lot more work than it normally did and it's not liking it at all.
All right. So, five in there. Pet care is going to get 10 added.
I'm not sure what we have in here right now.
So, now we'll have 20, 30, 35, 36, 37 in pets.
I kind of feel like I spent some money on cat food.
I don't know, guys. Everything was coming out of groceries. And then spending has 10 remaining. And we'll take the 10, guys. I got the tens all messed up up here. I don't like that. I like all the bills to be the same way. Okay, so that 10 is for spending. And we'll just keep the 10 that's in here. All right. So that Oh, wait. Time out. Barbara, you got some change in here, girlfriend.
Okay. Oh, I'm just going to bring the jar over and put the change in cuz I'm not really sure exactly how much I have.
Oh, it looks like a couple dollars worth.
Okay. And so that's it. The change jar is getting oh very close to being full and I'll have to wait till my daughter comes home because she likes to roll change and she should be home at the end of this month. So that's it for my wallet. It's much lighter, guys. All right, so that means for savings challenges, we have a pretty nice amount of money.
We have 10, 20, 30, 35, 40, 45, and $50 going into savings challenges. Very good. And then we also have 2Bs and 3Ds that will go into those um envelopes for debt. Let me move this change. There we go. Okay. So, we're going to move right ahead. We're going to go into this binder here.
I don't know where my rack is, guys. Who knows? Who knows what I did with it?
Card payment is going to get 300. So, 100, 200, 300. And this is for my August payment. So, there's three, four, five, six, and seven, which is more than enough for my August payment. So, woohoo. We're excited about that.
Okay. Car insurance is going to get 50.
And you guys, honestly, I don't know how much my car insurance premium is going to be because my daughter's not on my um policy any longer, but her car still is.
So, I don't because she's not driving that car anymore. She now has my dad's truck, so I'm just really not sure. But, we're just going to keep trying to save 50 a month until we figure it out. So, we have I mean 50 a week, sorry. We have 500, 600, 700, 800. It's in the high yield savings drawing some interest. And then we have 20, 40, and 50. So 850 for car insurance.
You guys, these trackers are not up to date. I will take care of them later. Pets is going to get 10.
My girl is in desperate need of a groom, so this has to be used for that very soon. So pets has 20 40 60 81 20 30 and 135 which is definitely enough. I think her groom is 100. So that would be enough for her groom and a tip.
All right, I'll just leave it like it is. Savings is going to get five.
Okay, I'm trying to be as normal as possible, guys. This really sucks being hurt. But the bright side is, you know, I'm still I'm still allowed to drive with one hand.
[snorts] I'm still allowed to drive with one hand, you guys. He told me I could and I've been driving. I am definitely my daughter my dad's daughter because he had rotator cuff surgery and was driving the next day. Anyway, I have 1,500 600 700 800. So 1,800 is in the high yield savings. 20 40 60 70 80 85 and 90.
So $18.990.
Oo, very close to another 100 that we can deposit into there.
Okay, so that savings emergency fund is also going to get five.
So now there's 1,00 2,000 3,000 4,000 500 600. So 4600 in the bank 10 20 25 $4,625 in my emergency fund.
All right, the Roth IRA is going to get 10. And you guys, I'm mad at myself, but with everything that was going on, I um forgot to take this $100 and deposit it. So, there is a $100 in here that needs to go into the Roth IRA. So, we have 110 now.
And then in investments, we're also going to add 10.
Whatever we accumulate in here at the end of July will go into my Fidelity account and be invested.
So now we have 50 and I think we have one more week or two, maybe two. I don't know. I don't know when the month ends.
All right. So anyway, that is it for this binder.
And I'm going to set this off. All right. And just a couple just a couple in here. The first one is going to be school. And school's going to get $50. So 20, 40, and 50.
And you guys, school is like, it's coming soon. I got to make a big payment.
All right, so let's see.
So from this syncing fund, we have 500.
It's in the high yield savings making a little bit of interest. What is this? H I don't know. Looks like a piece of a grocery bag. Oh, it's on my finger now.
All right. So, there's 500. That's in high yield savings.
20 40 60 80 Uhoh.
100 10 15 and 17. So 617 in here.
Okay. And then we're going to move to the very back. Oh, all right. We got it.
We're going to move to the very back and put $10 in Disney. You guys, why did my son tell me I want to add Hulu? I was like, no. Disney is expensive enough. if we're going to add Hulu, you're going to pay for it. And he was like, "Yeah, that's fine. I'll pay for it." And once he found out how much adding Hulu was, he decided to change his mind. So Disney has 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 85. But I think if we used a different email address and cancelled the one that I have, we could get a much better deal um for Disney and Hulu. But I think it's only for one year as a bundle. and AAA is going to get five. So, we just made the AAA payment at the end of June. So, we're saving for next June. And we have 25 in there so far.
And I think the payment was $245.
We had $250.
It was 250. So, we now have 25 towards next year. Okay. So, that is it for this binder.
Okay. So, we're going to set $30 aside. That's going to go to if I can, guys. Okay. We're going to set $30 aside. It's going to go into the Village Hop, which is a savings challenge. Um, it's their video is made by a lot of different people in the community. It's hosted by Donna Power by Creativity and Budget with Mama Bear. So much fun.
We're saving a lot of money over there, you guys. $30 a week is really adding up. So, I'm going to set that back here.
And then we have $20 left, which is going to go into the graduation savings challenge. And I have to reach over there because that's where it's at. So, give me a second.
Okay, friends. So, this is my graduation savings challenge. And the way I'm doing this is I'm putting $20 a week in here.
My son is going to be a junior, so you know, graduation will be here before you know it. And we're adding $20. So, I have the ones boxed in. The ones I'm going to have my son color. I'm not going to color them because I'm not doing so well with that right now. So, anyway, we have two sixes. So, there's 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20. So, those will be red and those will be gray. And then let's see what that gives us in here. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Okay. And here's a couple savings challenges that um I I'll also do it another time in the front here. And you guys, I really um you know, I know that this is difficult. I'm having a little bit of a hard time, but I just want to stay as normal as possible and um make sure that I'm taking care of all these financial goals I'm trying to hit. So, we have 20 40 60 81 20 40 60 82. So, we have $200 so far in graduation, which I feel like is really good because it seems like we just started this and we've already accumulated $200 in there.
So, yay.
All right, guys. So, that is all I have for you. Hooray. We have $30 for the village hop and hooray. Then we have $50 towards savings challenges and then $5 that's going to go into the bucks that are both going towards debt. Bes and D's. Bees are for Barb, but they go towards debt as long as I'm in debt. So, all right guys, that's all I have for you. Thank you so very much for watching my video. I hope that you enjoyed it. If you did, please leave me a comment, hit that subscribe button, and um like the video, guys. It's, you know, it helps me out a lot and I appreciate it. So, I'm going to see you guys soon with my one month ahead video. I'm excited about that. And yeah, I'm really excited about that. I like watching that add up. And then I can't wait to finish that binder because remember when I did my big unboxing, there's a month ahead binder in there that I'm itching to use, but I want to finish what I've already started. So that's what I'm going to do. Anyway, take care you guys and know that Jesus loves you so much and so do I. And until I see you next time, be blessed. Bye you guys.
