All the vast majority of the Muslims we see who are law-abiding citizens, who are good individuals, you don't see them. You don't consider them to be good, righteous people. And you only look at the bad apples that you associate yourself with 24/7.

[00:04:20]So, whenever the enemy wants to in intrude and penetrate your defense lines, they have two big fences.

[00:04:32]So, if they would penetrate the first fence, they would go to the rawatib, the 12 rak'ahs. And if you neglect those, then they're faced with the fard prayers. And if you miss fard prayers, you're doomed. So, you have to restart building this great wall, these firewalls, so that it would protect you with the grace of Allah Azza wa Jalla.

[00:06:32]There are so many things that are interlinked that we don't see.

[00:06:38]And this is not our job. Our job is to fulfill what Allah ordered us in the Quran and the Sunnah according to our capability. Me as a Muslim, Allah told me to do the following things. None of them is to go over my boundaries and try to do things that Allah Azza wa Jal condemns and does not approve of.

[00:07:17]And I also want to use it for to benefit others for the sake of Allah. My confusion is that Allah has already given us the greatest purpose through the Quran and Sunnah.

[00:07:26]When we look at the companions of the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we see how this [snorts and clears throat] purpose motivated them to strive with dedication and excellence. So, why can a person still have a clear purpose, genuine interest, and even a passion for field, yet lack discipline, focus, consistency, and ihsan in his action. What is the missing factor and how can a Muslim overcome this gap between knowing the purpose and acting upon it with excellence? This is due to laziness and lack of Iman and motivation.

[00:08:01]They know that if they die on the sins they're doing they're going to hell and they are continuing to do it.

[00:08:07]So it's lack of conviction, lack of Yakeen and Iman and also lack of the motivation, laziness.

[00:08:13]Procrastinating every time saying maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe the following. There is no motivation for them and it's at the beginning and at the end. Firstly and lastly, it is to a week.

[00:08:25]It is the success and encouragement and the support that Allah gives. If Allah doesn't give it to you, you're not going to do anything good.
