They start to fall apart a little bit as we get older, and that collagen degradation that we have as we get older is one big reason why our skin feels rougher as we get older. looser, it looks a little more wrinkly. That can be made worse by these advanced glycation end products or eating all this sugar, and that sugar then bonding to that collagen. And the second way is chronic inflammation.
