'FLAT- OUT FALSE': Ilhan Omar denies connections to Minnesota fraud

[00:00:00]Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar is speaking out today over mounting questions from critics over her possible connection to the massive Feeding Our Future fraud scandal. In a statement to Fox News Digital, Omar wrote, "Any claim that I had knowledge of this scheme is flat-out false." She also said she immediately sent a letter to the USDA secretary demanding answers and accountability the moment the fraud came out. In response to the statement, State Representative Kristin Robbins told Fox News Digital prior to Omar's letter, "Omar had urged the administration to keep the waivers in place allowing the fraud to continue." Omar's comments come months after President Trump suggested she profited from the state's massive wealth fraud scandal. Lawmakers pointing to a financial disclosure that temporarily listed her as a multimillionaire, Omar says it was an accounting error.
