[00:00:00]classism and colorism in Mexico. So, again in Mexico was invaded by Spain. It was colonized by Spain. And Spain comes from, you know, like a caste system. And they have like the king, the queen, the subjects, the peasants, you know, there's like a hierarchy.

[00:00:18]>> [music] >> Um well, it was the kind of the same way cuz they tried to establish that in Mexico. Except that in Spain, you have Spaniards. And here in Mexico, it's like, okay, well, we have Spaniards at the top. But then, we have a bunch of little hybrids like cuz, you know, we're all mixing together. [music] And we have a bunch of things. So, they created like the caste system. [music] Um and that's its own like history lesson. Um but yeah, basically, like the darker you were, um the more you were associated with being native or indigenous.
