The shift from circular logic to overt threats perfectly illustrates the intellectual desperation that occurs when dogma is stripped of its self-referential shield. It serves as a stark reminder that a belief system requiring intimidation to sustain itself has already conceded the logical high ground.

Agrees To Prove God… Then Starts Threatening Me
Added:Welcome. So we ask people who believe in a god to try it. And when I say test, I'll clarify that we accept that very few things can actually be tested. It's just a shorthand way of, you know, presenting a reasonable argument for this belief. Is that something you would be willing to do?
Clear. Forward. The Bible says that Satan prowls around like a lion looking for someone to devour. And that's exactly what you do. You seek Christians, trying to devour them. You're like a king... like a lion.
You may be the king of this live stream, but everyone will kneel before Christ in the end. Will I have to kneel? Can I get knee pads for that before I kneel? Because my knees aren't in very good shape. They used to be fine.
I used to play a lot of football, or " soccer" as you call it. But now I notice that when I kneel down, if I have to lay tiles and such, it hurts a little. So, before I kneel before Jesus, will I be able to get some holy knee pads? Should I kneel on only one knee, or is it on both knees, or can I alternate if one starts to hurt during the process? And how long does the kneeling last?
I imagine everyone will be kneeling on both knees, begging for their lives, especially on both knees. And for how long do we kneel? And what are we allowed to do while we are kneeling? Because if I kneel down, I start to get bored. Can I bring a Sudoku book or something to keep me entertained while I'm kneeling, or is it something quick?
If your goal is to provoke Christians, you cannot provoke me because I have the truth. Oh, that's lovely. And after kneeling, what happens then?
All I can tell you is that every knee will bend.
Yes, you already said that, but what happens next? I'm interested to know what Jesus plans to do after we kneel down. Shall we become friends or what? Because I've heard that he wants people to love their enemies.
So, can Jesus model that behavior himself, or does he just tell others to do it while he kills his own people? What's the deal with that?
The Scriptures exist for you to read. Why don't you ask me questions about them? Because you are here to defend the faith and the scriptures. I have read the scriptures and they seemed a bit absurd to me. So I ask you, in your opinion, once we're done with the kneeling part and move on to the next thing, what does that entail?
I'm here to confront you because I know exactly what you're doing.
No, that's great. I'm just, I'm just asking you questions.
Are you able to answer them? I asked you at the beginning if you were going to present a reasoned argument and you said yes. So far, you 're just making threats for the time being, but that's okay. Yes.
Uh, so is that all you've got, threats, or are you capable of engaging in dialogue as well? You are not here looking to prove God or prove anything. You are here simply to attack us.
No, he's waiting for you...no, no, we're attacking positions. He asked you if you could prove, and explained what he meant by prove, provide reasoned evidence or arguments that God exists. And you said, "Absolutely." And so far, you haven't done it. And it doesn't seem like you've tried to do it. In fact, you explicitly said that you're not here for that. So when you first came in and said you would do it, were you lying for Jesus? Can't he speak for himself?
We are together. Sean is here for a reason.
I can speak for myself. But, but, but Shawn was explicitly invited to co-host. So he asked you a question, and so did I.
And the question I asked you, by the way, was serious: once we've all finished kneeling, what does Jesus plan to do to us? That was a genuine question I'm asking you. Do you know the answer? Because I do know it. I'm just wondering if you know it.
Jesus, Jesus commanded us to search the scriptures. So it's up to you to search the scriptures.
Then you don't know the answer. I thought, what about 1 Peter 3:15, which commands you to always be prepared to give a reason? Is that one of those verses you don't like and selectively ignore when it's inconvenient? Or are you going to fulfill your obligations?
I am here to warn you; it is a warning from God.
So you are ignoring your obligations under 1 Peter 3:15, then. And going against your own word of what you said when you first came here. John, John asked you a question. Are you here? To provide evidence of your God, provide reasoned arguments. You said yes. Are you going to do it? Were you...were you lying?
Was it a lie? Yes or no?
The Scriptures answer that directly. It speaks of creation.
The Scriptures answer whether you were lying.
God has made himself known, without excuse.
Ah, Romans One. So, yes. Yes.
Yes. Of course. Romans 1 is delightful. So when I asked you if you were going to present an argument, why didn't you just say, "No, I won't"? " Please read the Bible." "And then leave."
That would have been the honest thing to do. But instead, you misrepresented your position and said, "Yes, I'm going to present an argument." I said, "Fantastic." I gave you the platform to do it. And all you did was make threats and complain that I'm a lion, some kind of satanic lion roaming around devouring Christians. Are you really going to do what you said you were going to do? Or is making threats all you're capable of? There is no debate. But the truth of the matter is this. God has revealed himself without excuse, believe me...but curiously... Yes. No one had quoted Romans 1 to us before. Curiously. Know? We love listening to Romans 1 because it is one of the most easily refutable sections of the Bible. Romans 1:18, which says that if God has made himself known and they have no excuse, and that by looking at the world you can see that God is there, is a statement from the Bible that is trivially easy to prove false. I'm listening.
Well, I've looked outside and seen trees, nature, and the world around me, and all those things, and I'm not convinced that they are proof or evidence of a god. I simply look at them and see proof and evidence of natural processes. Therefore, the claim that anyone who sees these things will be convinced that there is a god is demonstrably false.
So why does the Bible make demonstrably false claims in the book of Romans? The Bible does not make claims.
That is a statement. That is specifically a statement, and it is a false statement.
Testimonies of a living God who makes statements.
Yes. But even so, there are statements inferred from the book, made by the book, and implied in the book. Many of which are demonstrably false. This being one of the easiest to refute. There is no excuse. Spot. What are you going to answer, John?
You sound, you just sound like a chatbot right now. You sound like a teenager with a sound box pressing buttons to give answers. So, at this point, all you do is, you know, make silent threats in a monotone, which I admit is somewhat entertaining and probably more pleasant to listen to than the previous lunatic who couldn't stop screaming. This is just a different kind of madness, isn't it? We like to vary the type of craziness on this channel. Sometimes they're loud and brash, you know, crazy, and sometimes they're quiet and just say things like: everyone's been warned, they've been told they have no excuse. You sound like a cartoon. Is that how you talk to your family? Do you sit at the table and say, "Please pass me the salt"? Is that what you do, or are you capable of having a normal human conversation like the rest of us? Look, take a look at this.
Sean, have you had a good day today?
Yes, I've had it. I like that. I like that. But, you know, it would be great, G. Waltz, if you could have a normal conversation and provide some evidence as to why any of us should give a damn about what this silly book of myths says.
Jesus says, "Deny yourself." This is not about it again. Again, you're appealing to what the book says. Take it for granted.
Assume that we don't care what the book says until you can demonstrate why we should care. Now, is this something you are able to do without referring to the content of the book, or is that task beyond you?
What matters to me is what happens after, you know, every knee bends, but you haven't told us what that is yet. I asked you earlier and you seemed reluctant to answer.
Should we talk about that again?
Because why would you care about Judgment Day if you don't care about what Jesus does after he kneels? What does he do? Should I tell you? It seems, it seems that perhaps you don't know.
So what he does after he finishes the kneeling part is say, "The Son of Man will send his angels. They will gather out of his kingdom all sinners and all evildoers—that would be me—and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth in the furnace." Oh, how naughty, naughty, naughty. This is what Jesus does. And yet, we're also told that Jesus preaches that you should love your enemies. That loving your enemies should be a value. When I talk to Christians, they tell me about all the lovely things Jesus says. All the virtues, you know, blessed are the humble and love your enemies and how to turn the other cheek and forgiveness and all these wonderful things. These are all values that, according to you, he immediately abandons. Um, so you're mad at God and you misunderstand him because I 'm not mad. No, I'm not mad at God. I'm pointing out the, I'm pointing out the There's an inconsistency in the position you're presenting.
The contradiction, the contradiction between Jesus' message and the threats you're now making in his name as his designated agent on earth.
Of course. Do you have a badge? Does it say " Agent of Jesus"? Have a nice day "on your badge." Love isn't something where you simply love people for who they are and let them do whatever they want. God's love is different from that. It's a tough love.
It's a tough love that involves fire and gnashing of teeth. Is that right?
Have we got that right?
That's definitely the kind of enforced love that everyone wants their daughter or sister to be involved with, a kind that loves them perfectly until they don't love him back, at which point the violence begins. This is the kind of love you stand for. Am I correct? God is perfect and He loves us very much. Satan is the god of this world, and that's why the world is so evil. So let's talk, let's talk a little bit about Satan.
Let's talk a little bit about Satan.
So, who's in charge? God or Satan?
Ultimately, God is in charge, so everything Satan does is according to God's will. Right.
God allows him to do the things he does. Yes.
So, everything Everything Satan does is according to God's will. So it must be good, right? God allows Satan to tempt people just as he tempted him. Is it good?
Yes. So, it's good. Then, all the things that... is everything God does good? Have you read Deuteronomy 32:4?
All his ways are just. So, everything that happens, if it's part of God's will, must be good, right?
Satan doesn't force us to do anything.
Yes. Are you able to answer a direct question? Are you able? Are you able to answer a direct question? You don't let me finish my sentence. I 'm asking you a question.
You ask the question, but you refuse to listen to the answer because you don't want to hear it. Because, again, you said you do n't care. I asked you the question precisely because I do want to hear the answer.
So, is everything Satan does according to God's will?
God's will is perfect. It is God's will.
That doesn't answer my question. I'll ask it again. Is everything... Is what Satan is doing according to God's will?
No. Definitely not. I see. Then God is crying: " Boo-hoo!" "I wish Satan would do something else." Totally powerless to stop him. Right?
No. God can stop Satan, but then he could stop him, but he chooses not to. So it's according to his will then, because if he wanted Satan not to do it, he could make him not do it.
Right.
Well, obviously he will. It says at the end of the Bible when God locks Satan up. I 'm not asking what will happen someday. I'm asking right now. If God wanted Satan to do something else, is he able to stop him from doing what he's doing now?
God isn't a control freak.
He doesn't force. I did n't ask you if he's a control freak. I asked you if he's able to stop Satan from doing what he 's doing. In the same way that, if my son starts torturing the cat, I would intervene, take the cat away, and say, "No, stop torturing the cat." There's no torturing the cat because I'm able to intervene in my son's actions and stop the torturing. He doesn't torture the cat. He loves the cat. Is he Is God capable of intervening to stop Satan's behavior? Is He able to do that, or is it too much of an effort?
God is very capable, but He doesn't simply choose not to because He wants Satan to be able to do all those kinds of things, right?
He does it because we are being tested. It must be good. That means I have to voluntarily and actively make the decision to choose to follow Satan or to choose to follow God.
Yes. So all of Satan's activities are according to God's plan and are good. Hooray for God and Satan, winning team! Isn't there a verse in the Bible that says, "I, God, create evil"? Yes, there is.
Yes. Yes. So fantastic. So everything that happens is part of God's plan. Hurrah. And in your world, in your world, the people who don't follow his plan, people who, for example like me, who are honestly not convinced that his plan even exists, that must also be part of his plan.
Because if it weren't, if he weren't, he would have intervened to change it, right? Because he is very powerful, you understand?
It's a lack of understanding, my friend.
Whose lack of understanding is it?
On my part? On behalf of all of us. We want to... And do we punish people for a lack of understanding in your world? Does that happen?
God gives people time to understand, but we are the ones who use that time on other things instead of seeking His truth.
Correct. And what about those who have sought the truth and at the end of that process are not convinced by the theological claims you make?
Although they search honestly, they do not believe that there is a Satan or that there is a God, and they have analyzed the evidence and found it insufficient, as is my case, Sha's case, and that of many others who listen, and genuinely, sincerely, and intellectually they have come to the conclusion that they are not convinced by this. So what? Is it time to kneel down and be thrown into the oven because God loves us so much that he wants us to be well roasted? Is that what you're suggesting?
He says not to rely on our own understanding. He says so. He says so. Do you know what that verse means? That verse is literally an exhortation for people to stop using their minds. I reject, I reject such totalitarian language. I will not accept it. I will not allow them to tell me to stop using my mind. And anyone who decides to stop using their mind is deciding to become stupid. So I'm withdrawing from that particular project. Do you have any other evidence beyond mindlessly reading Bible verses in a monotone?
I should ask you. You seem to be full of questions. So you have any other questions? Because the question— well, the main question here is: why should anyone care what this ridiculous book says? This book is about talking animals, magic, and things like that.
Why should anyone care?
I denied God. I reported it for many years until I realized that certain things happened in my life that led me to see the truth. And once you know the truth, you can't unsee it. People say exactly the same thing about Islam, exactly the same thing about Hinduism, exactly the same thing about Mormonism, exactly the same thing about Sikhism, exactly the same thing about Hare Krishna, exactly the same thing about Jainism, exactly the same thing about all kinds of religions. Nobody cares what happened to you in life. However charming the story may be, why should anyone care what the Bible says? I agree with you. People say all sorts of things, the exact same things about religion and so on, but Jesus simply says, "I am the way. I am the truth."
Again, you're quoting the Bible as if you 've earned the right for anyone to care about what it says.
You would have to earn that right before assuming it. I don't care what the book says. Why should I care?
Jesus Christ was a person. I am not quoting the Bible. I am quoting him. He is... You're quoting the Bible because you have absolutely no idea what that man said. And nobody else has it either. All we have are stories passed down orally through a pre-scientific and highly superstitious culture of credulous people who didn't know where the sun went at night, until decades later, someone anonymous decided to write those stories down. So don't pretend to know what Jesus said without quoting the book.
That's all you have, a bedtime storybook that tells you what this person said, who may or may not have existed. So why should anyone care what that book says? Because it's a matter of life or death.
I could say the same about Puff, the magic dragon. It's a matter of life or death. You must believe Puff's word. He lived by the sea. And if you don't do what he says, you'll end up at the dragon's big barbecue. Brilliant. Have I now established that you should pay attention to Puff's book?
So, outside of religion or Christianity or any of that garbage, why do you live? What is your purpose?
That's a completely different question. I think it's a wonderful question, but let's stick to the one we're discussing. Can you give a justification before we end the call? Can you give a justification for why someone should care about what the Bible says?
Because at this point, the only claims you make about it are found in the Bible, which is a circular argument. It is a round thing with a statement at the beginning and a justification of the statement at the same point where the statement is. It is round and circular and really, very poor. So, other than that, what do you have? I don't believe in the Bible. It's the same as being entertained. The word muse, the word demon, the word spirit, the word genius, from where the intellectual and knowledge come.
Wow.
The body is just a vessel. It is the spirit that is in that vessel that speaks through that person. Whether it's you or me, whether it's someone filled with the Holy Spirit of God or a muse, a demon, a devil. So, as we bring the argument to a conclusion, um, what you've told us is a lot of stuff from the Bible, a lot of verses that culminate in your assertion that you don't actually believe in the Bible. So, um, I guess it would be a logical point to end the discussion and say thanks for coming and reiterate that, like us, you don't believe in the Bible and then many, many other crazy claims that we simply won't go along with, if that's okay. Resist the devil and he will flee. As I said, you can resist the devil. What if you like the devil? What if you really like him? Because in reality, between you and me, I am the devil. Excuse me, who said that?
Who? What was that?
Believe him. Who was that?
See you. Thanks for that. There you have it. Fully grown adults believe this, people. This is wild. Grown adults. People who are able to operate motor vehicles and own pets and raise children and drive cars and walk dogs and work in government and vote and things like that. Scary. Absolutely terrifying.
