Animals That Build AMAZING Homes! πΎAdded:
Did you know some animals are amazing builders?
Let's go on a magical adventure and discover the most incredible animal homes in the world.
Look, there's a giant beaver dam, a wibbly-wobbly bird nest, and glowing tunnels deep underground.
Animal homes.
Ready to count down 10 of the cleverest creatures?
Let's go.
Number 10, the hermit crab.
Hermit crabs don't build their own houses. Instead, they find old seashells on the beach and move right in.
When they get too big, they look for [music] a bigger shell. So clever. Did you know?
Hermit crabs sometimes line up and swap shells with their friends, [music] like a shell party.
Number nine, the penguin.
Penguins live where it's icy cold. They use rocks and pebbles [music] to build cozy nests for their eggs.
All the penguins build together, making giant penguin villages. Wow, their nests [music] keep their fluffy chicks safe and warm.
Number eight, the friendly spider.
This gentle little spider is a magical web spinner. [music] Using silky threads, spiders spin beautiful, intricate [music] webs to catch their food.
Sometimes, when the sun rises, their [music] webs sparkle with tiny drops of morning dew, like nature's jewelry.
Isn't it amazing how something [music] so tiny can make something so magical?
Number seven, the prairie dog. Prairie dogs dig huge underground towns [music] called towns with lots of twisty tunnels.
They even have special rooms for sleeping and hiding.
Nature engineers, >> [music] >> prairie dog tunnels can be as long as your whole playground.
Number six, [music] the honeybee. Bees work together to build waxy honeycombs full of yummy honey and baby bees.
Their homes [music] are shaped like perfect little hexagons. Tiny builders.
Bees can flap their wings so [music] fast it sounds like gentle singing.
Number five, the leafcutter ant.
>> [music] >> Leafcutter ants march in lines carrying leaves way bigger than they are.
Underground they [music] use the leaves their special ant food.
So clever. Their homes can have millions of ants inside. [music] Wow.
Number four, the weaver bird. Weaver birds are master nest builders. [music] They weave grasses into hanging nests that swing from tree branches. Wow. Some nests look [music] like little baskets in the wind. Number three, the termite.
Termites build towering mud [music] castles called mounds. Inside it's cool and safe with [music] twisty tunnels and secret rooms. Can you believe this? Some termite mounds are taller [music] than a person.
Number two, the puffer fish.
Underwater a tiny puffer fish spins and dances in the sand [music] making a giant swirly pattern.
It's like a magical underwater garden.
Nature engineers.
He builds it all to impress [music] his fishy friends and number one, the beaver. Beavers [music] are the best builders of all. With their big teeth they chop down trees and [music] stack them up to make huge dams across rivers. Their cozy lodges have secret [music] underwater doors.
Beavers keep their family safe and dry even in the wildest weather.
Animals [music] may be tiny but they can build amazing things.
