The Trump administration used administrative subpoenas from the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control to target left-wing political figures like Hasan Piker and CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin for their Cuba trip, while right-wing figures who violated similar sanctions faced no consequences, demonstrating a pattern of selective enforcement of laws against political opponents.

Left Wing Streamer Gets TARGETED By The Trump AdministrationAñadido:
Hassan [ __ ] who's one of the most popular left-wing streamers on the internet, has been subpoenenaed by the federal government in relation to his trip to Cuba. And we've got to talk about it because not only does it relate to the fact that Donald Trump has spent so much time going after his political opponents, this is the largest expansion of executive authority really in American history. And we are watching Donald Trump wield places like the DOJ, the FBI, really any three-letter agency to attack his political opponents to, you know, obviously we've seen indictments against people like Leticia James, James Comey, Katabu Gazale, the list is big. We're going to get into that in a second. But also, you know, we're hearing so much about Cuba lately and Donald Trump. Lately, him and his administration have been ramping up the rhetoric around potentially invading Cuba. So, we've got to talk about that as well. Before I play this video from Hassan [ __ ] Fed subpoena Hassan [ __ ] Media Benjamin over Cuba trip investigation part of broader draget involving as many as 40 American citizens who joined Marxist convoy to Havana. Federal officials have served subpoenas to political influencer Assan [ __ ] and Code Pink co-founder Susan Medadia Benjamin as part of a wider investigation into whether US organizations and leaders violated US laws and sanctions in supporting Cuba's communist regime. Fox News Digital has learned [ __ ] and Benjamin are among those caught in a federal inquiry into whether activists who travel to Cuba in March violated US sanction laws through the financing, coordination, or delivery of goods to Cuba, including potential contracts with Cuban government personnel or entities on the island. The administrative subpoenas were sent to the pair by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control. And so let's watch Hassan Piker's response to this because what's really interesting is like a lot of this relates to there's very specific rules if you go to Cuba about what hotels you're allowed to stay in. There's essentially only one hotel you're allowed to stay in and give money to because you're not really allowed to give money to the Cuban government. And what's interesting is Hassan [ __ ] didn't break this rule around the hotel, but you know who did? Nick Shirley when he traveled to Cuba and made a video actually practically for the administration. You know, Nick Shirley, the guy who went to Minneapolis and claimed all this fraud. The right-wing, you know, guy who's in bed practically with the administration. He appeared to actually break these sanctioned rules.
Of course, he doesn't get a subpoena.
So, let's start here. Let's watch Piker's video. Before we do, really quickly, it mean a lot if you go down below, hit like and subscribe on this video. Really helps me out. Share the video out with a friend or family member. Goes a long way. I appreciate each and every one of you. Let's take a listen.
>> And I'm not going to lie to you guys.
It's It's not great. The news is not great. Okay.
Um I mean it's [ __ ] but still not great that you know they're they're after your boy.
They're up my ass.
And I'll obviously get into it right now.
I'll tell you all about it, but let me blast off real quick.
We will free you, brother. Yeah, free me. Free me.
Free me.
I can't believe I'm saying that. So, here's the thing. A lot of people saw this video, specifically on the right, and they're like, Hosan [ __ ] is terrified. He's saying, you know, he knows he's in trouble. He knows he did something wrong. That's why he's telling his audience, you know, it's not great.
It's like, no, he's being subpoenaed by the federal government because the Trump administration is after him for his political views. That's not great.
Regardless of if Hassan [ __ ] did or didn't do anything wrong, he certainly didn't do anything wrong. But, you know, I don't think Assan [ __ ] is stressed here because he believes that he's about to be caught or thrown in prison or there's going to be some connection found between him and Cuba or they're going to find out that he broke uh some amount of federal law going to Cuba or something. I don't think that's the case. I think Hassan [ __ ] is understandably stressed and concerned about the fact again that the federal government is issuing subpoenas to him.
It's going to cost a lot of money for him to deal with it and it's part of a, you know, obviously again a ramping up of the Trump administration going after their political opponents. It probably will not end here. Let's go to the next clip. Let's listen to him talk about Nick Shirley. We didn't actually stay at the wrong hotel. That was just something that people made up on Twitter, except for an American citizen who recently did violate OFAC and stayed at a hotel that America does not allow American citizens to stay in. It wasn't me though. It was Nick Shirley. Literally, the hotel that Nick Shirley was in was actually on the state sponsor of terrorism list. Okay, we obviously didn't stay at a hotel that the We obviously didn't stay at a [ __ ] hotel that the American government has made illegal to to stay in. Nick Shirley, on the other hand, whether because he's a [ __ ] idiot or because uh you know it doesn't really matter what he does because he's basically an agent for the state, did stay in a hotel that was illegal for him to stay in. I personally think it's idiotic. You should be able to stay in whatever [ __ ] hotel you want to. By the way, I think it's a totally ridiculous restriction imposed upon Americans and Americans only, mind you.
Right. It's hilarious that the mouth breeding right toid accidentally violated US Treasury rules. They're targeting the scary Marxist for literally following the law. Yeah, but yeah, if this is the investigation, that's hilarious.
This is just like headline chasing. The federal government got clickbaited by Twitter headlines.
>> I think that's really well said. The federal government get got clickbaited by Twitter headlines. And it's partly again because of this, you know, uh, exec this expansion, excuse me, of executive authority. These two letter agencies have been flooded with loyalists. A lot of those loyalists obviously are completely incompetent.
The competent lawyers, for example, at the DOJ have been pushed out. That's why the DOJ is often failing so many different cases. That's why uh in any real given area of the executive branch, we see so much incompetence. And this is Assan [ __ ] talking uh or zooming into the Fox article I was showing you a second ago. According to public statements, it's believed the delegation members stayed at a hotel the US State Department has put on a quote Cuba restricted list as business directly tied to the communist government of Cuba designated a state sponsor of terrorism.
And so again, Hassan Piger didn't stay at that hotel, but Nick Shirley certainly did. And I actually made a video about Nick Shirley traveling to Cuba. I reacted to some of the videos he made in his hotel room and he pointed out that people on Twitter were pointing out that, hey, he's at a hotel that you're not allowed to stay at. Of course, you know, now it doesn't matter if you are pro-Trump in some way. You get away with all sorts of crimes. It doesn't matter. Obviously, he sells pardons to the highest bidder. Donald Trump is incredibly corrupt. You know, I don't have to go on this whole rant that you already know. He's 3xed his net worth. His kids are getting super rich.
Again, people who commit crimes but are proTrump in some way or even in prison, but you know, find a way to give money to Trump will get their pardons. So, it's, you know, it doesn't matter for Nick Shirley. Here's a video talking a little bit about uh Nick Shirley. This one titled, "We found where Nick Shirley was staying in Cuba." Take a listen.
>> Says that he's being held hostage in a hotel in Cuba. Well, guess what? We found the hotel. It's right here, Hotel Nasal. And it's actually illegal for him to be at this hotel, but not illegal under Cuban law. It's illegal under US law. Let me show you how we know it's a hotel. All right. If you look at the tweet and the video that he posted, that's the room he's staying in pretty much, right? Red curtains. This is the hotel national website. You can pretty much not you can't stay in this hotel legally as a US citizen. According to US law, Cubans welcome you here, but the US does not want you staying at this hotel or pretty much any other hotel all over Cuba. It there is such a thing as called the there is something called the Cuba prohib prohibited accommodations list.
Here it is right here. Cuba prohibited accommodations list. Below is the US state US Department of State's Cuba prohibited accommodations list. a list of properties in Cuba at which the Cuban assets control regulations generally prohibit persons subject to US jurisdiction from lodging, paying for lodging or making any reservation for or on behalf of a third party to lodge.
It's not just this hotel either. Look at all the hotels. I mean, dozens upon dozens of dozings are calm. There's no security. Everyone this this seems like a normal day like any other. We're not even, my guess is Shirley's not even here anymore.
>> And again, he goes on to talk about the fact that Nick Shirley in the video that he made claimed that he was like being followed and there was Cuban officials downstairs waiting to take him away and he had to plan this whole like escape.
He thought he was in a real life James Bond movie basically, a real life 007 movie. I reacted to uh again that video.
It was seemed ridiculous to me. It seemed not based in reality or fake. And he goes on to just explain that, you know, based on the video Nick Shirley made, it doesn't really seem accurate with him standing right there. But the point of this video being that again, this hotel he's not allowed to stay at.
Nick Shirley obviously facing no repercussions for that. Hassan [ __ ] facing I guess some amount of reproductions. We repercussions, excuse me. We will see where the subpoena goes.
But this doesn't only relate to coming after political opponents. It doesn't only relate to, you know, the two tiers of justice here. anyone proTrump getting away with whatever and people who are anti- the administration uh getting potentially indicted or getting subpoenas etc. It also relates to whatever I predict Donald Trump is going to do with Cuba. We have heard so much rhetoric in the last few weeks about Cuba about potential regime change. Uh we saw an indictment of the 94year-old previous president of Cuba which I'll get into in a second. So, could this be another part of that? I don't know. You can let me know in the comments down below. But this was Donald Trump the other day uh being asked about Cuba.
Take a listen.
>> Are you confident that you can reach a diplomatic deal with >> I think so. I think so.
>> We are I am very prone toward the Cubanameans. They've been incredible people. Many of them have lost family members. They've been very badly hurt themselves. They've been in prison.
They've come to this country. They've been very successful. The CubanAmerican people in Miami, I mean, they are amazing people. Most of them are in Miami, in Florida, but mostly in Miami.
Uh, I'm very, very prone to helping them. I mean, that's they've been I think I got 97% of that vote. Uh, I want to help them. Now, they have family members in Cuba. They've been treated very, very badly. They've been treated extremely badly. And, uh, we're going to get that job. That's not going to be hard for us to solve. You can do that without changing the regime there. You believe in >> changing the regime. I I can do that whether you change a regime or not. You know, it's been a rough regime. They they've killed a lot of people. But uh it's it's a country that really needs help. It has nothing. They can't turn on the lights. They can't eat. We don't want to see that.
>> So again, Donald Trump talking a lot about Cuba being asked about regime change. We've heard people like Marco Rubio and JD Vance mention how the regime needs to change. Again, uh a lot of this increasing rhetoric over the last few weeks and the indictment I mentioned, want to know about the US indictment of former Cuban President Ro Castro. Former Cuban President Ro Castro has been charged in a US indictment with murder and other crimes for his alleged role in the downing of two civilian aircraft operated by Miami based exiles in 1996 off the coast of the Caribbean island. The allegations come as part of escalating pressure by the Trump administration on Cuba's socialist government to open its economy to American investment and remove US adversaries. And again, I made a video around this as well. The idea that we're indicting a 94 year old from 1996.
What's the play here? Is it that he wants some political win on this? Is that he is is it, excuse me, that he's trying to start to create their justification for actually invading Cuba as we've heard so much about? We don't know. Again, you can let me know in the comments down below if you feel like this Assan [ __ ] stuff relates in any way to this kind of increasing rhetoric.
But lastly, I want to point out when it comes to going after your political opponents, this is from protect democracy.org. And they have a really great list here of essentially people who the Trump administration have come after simply because they're anti- the administration starting with Kilargo Garcia, somebody who obviously got deported without due process. And uh just it's been a nightmare. I feel so bad for Kilar Obrego Garcia. Miles Taylor who used to work for uh the Trump administration, Brad Lander, James Comey obviously was indicted and that failed.
Adam Schiff, John Bolton, Kat Abu Gonazale was charged but her charges were recently dro dropped, excuse me, which is amazing. Mark Kelly, Jerome Powell, uh Minnesota Democrats, Southern Poverty Law Center most recently. So again, we continue to see this happen over and over and over again. Make sure you're registered to vote in 2026, though. uh h Democrats with especially power in the House, but both the House and the Senate uh will give them significantly more power against this administration to fight back. I appreciate you watching this video. Make sure you like and subscribe down below.
