This $225,000 judgment serves as a stark financial reminder that weaponized entitlement is an expensive liability in a society governed by civil rights. It is a rare, satisfying instance where the legal system effectively translates moral failure into tangible accountability.

Do it.
Do it.
Do it.
Do it.
Do it.
The Karen-icity in this one runs deep.
We have identified this Karen and there is actually a happy ending for those she victimized. Let's put up a picture again.
Full mass here. All right, first of all, anyone that has that hairstyle in your community, bad things are coming.
Let's show the mug shot that we were able to find of this particular Karen.
Okay.
There's a backstory. Indianapolis. A judge ordered a former homeowner on Indy's northwest side to pay more than 225,000 to a neighbor and the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana. It's called the FHCCI in a housing discrimination lawsuit.
Wow.
That's a lot of money.
Vicky New Vicky New, a former resident of the Twin Creek subdivision in Pike Township, had previously been caught on camera attacking neighbors with a yard sign.
She was accused of making racist threats and continually harassing neighbors.
"She has told me to go back to Mexico, to go back where I came from, said Rios.
She tells me on a daily basis, I'm going to kill you.
Then neighbor Miguel Rios told 13 News, this was back in 2018. So, what do you what do we know about this Karen? Uh she has been harassing neighbors for years.
Okay? According to the reports that we have. So, Wednesday a federal judge had to step in and ordered Ms. Neu to pay a former neighbor $100,000 in punitive damage, $50,000 in compensatory damages. She'll also have to pay the FHCCI more than $37,000 in punitive damages and more than 12,000 in compensatory damages. All right? Additionally, both the neighbor and the housing organization were jointly awarded more than $26,000 uh 26,000 in attorney fees and costs.
Uh so, and and I'm glad we have attorney Adrian Lawrence on the show uh because she knows better than anyone uh nobody's going to get any money out of this woman. All right? So, let's talk about why why was it important for the federal judge to step in and not only allocate compensatory, but also punitive, which is a punishment. Why do you think this was important for the case? Oh, absolutely to come in for that compensatory element to make sure that that person feels that they've been made whole cuz the last thing you want is people out there um taking matters into their own hands. And also for that punitive element, that's also essential too when someone is acting intentionally and with malice to cause harm and to hurt. It wasn't one of those oops it happened, it was oh yeah, it's going to happen. And so for the judge to acknowledge that behavior also goes to helping the plaintiff to feel to be made whole. And the thing is when we have neighbors, it's one of those things that can turn dangerous quickly. And so having the justice system in place where people can go to uh a member of the the judiciary to decide who's right, who's wrong, and to allocate um these damages in a way to, again, make people whole.
It's so incredibly important so people don't turn to using physical violence.
Yeah.
