[00:00:05]What is your core philosophy guiding a student engagement at American University today? Well, for the students, they always make sure that they all understand that they all fit in, no matter what. You know, they can come in the beginning and they can have a struggles trying to fit in into the university, making the transition from high school to a university, which for many of them they're coming from abroad, you know, away from their families. So, I make sure from early on that they know that they will fit in, no matter what.

[00:00:33]You know, I will get them engaged in a student clubs, I will get them engaged into leadership positions if they're interested in in those. So, I think making sure that they we're an inclusive environment and an inclusive university in which they all know that they will find their role within the student body.

[00:00:51]So, it seems like the secret is to stay busy. You know, busy in something that you like.
