The show attempts to frame surgical transparency as empowerment, but it ultimately reinforces a culture where self-worth is tied to constant physical modification. It mistakes the public airing of private transactions and fetishes for meaningful social discourse.

The Weekend View – Full Episode April 25, 2026Added:
Thank you. Thank you. Okay. So, so here's a story for you. Chris Jenner has been very open about getting plastic surgery last year. She was saying that it makes her happy to be what she thinks is the best version of herself. But there are multiple unconfirmed reports that she is raging, quote unquote, because the effects of her recent $100,000 plus facelift are starting to wear off.
>> She looks good.
>> That's a filter. That's filter and that's facelift. She looks great in both, but that's a filter.
>> The one on the left is a filter, >> I think. So, >> yes, definitely.
>> She looks incredible.
>> She looks pretty in the second one.
>> Yes.
>> There's nothing like a little lines and stuff. Although I have none of them.
Yeah, >> but you know, doesn't she have to accept that time marches on? Gravity gets all of us.
>> But but it does.
>> But the the facelift was just last year.
I was going to say I don't think it's it's dropped. She looks good.
>> No, but the lines that she has were probably there before. They just they just did something. This is AI or something like you said.
>> Well, for the price point I could get being mad that you're seeing a change maybe within a year >> cuz she paid $100,000.
The smile helps. My doctor said to me, "A smile is like a natural facelift." I said, "I wish my ass had a cent."
>> Seriously, that was a good one.
>> Now, there were other >> That was really good, Joy. Just pause.
>> And there are other celebs that have been going on social media to put a positive spin on their experiences with plastic surgery. Watch. always said I would never get a faceelift, but as we get older, you start to see gravity, so that's why I decided to do it. I am coming to you with a full face of makeup on my post facelift face. I'm still super super swollen, way more swollen on this side than I am on this side. I'm only 2 weeks out, so I'm really liking it.
>> I've had a lower neck and a lower face and neck lift. You look it looks so good.
>> Thank you.
>> It looks really good.
>> I kind of think it's the best facelift I've ever seen. And I love that I can talk about it. I'm I'm I'm fully transparent. Always have been, but I I don't want there to be any stigma.
>> Wow. Look at Ricky. Huh.
>> I I have a I have a friend who's been uh looking into getting a facelift and has been interviewing several of the surgeons. So, he went to the Chris Jenner surgeon. His price point now is way up thanks to Chris J.
>> Past 100,000. A lot past 100,000. So if he's got to give her a tweet house, >> she should do he should do it for free.
And he also went to Ricky Lakes doctor.
>> Yeah.
>> And I think he's going to wind up doing it with with him because he said that the difference is how meticulous he is and how long he takes. Like this guy told him, I'm going to take x amount of hours. It's like 10 hours.
>> He's complaining that it's dropping already.
>> No, not regular. Oh, >> it's Chris Jenner's supposedly alleged.
>> That's the one who's who's uh Yeah. Oh, I say not Ricky.
>> I do love when celebrities don't gatekeep and they like share what they had done because we all know like Instagram it's a highlight reel. Like there's there's filters, there's body contouring, there's a lot of work that's been done. And I love when people tell you because I'm super guilty especially when I was pregnant and like postpartum.
My body's not quite where I would like it to be. And you see these women, it looks so unattainable. But then you hear somebody say, "Oh, well I took JLP1s to help me out." And it makes me feel so much better that like, okay, to get washboard abs after having kids, like there are way it's it's harder to get there than you think.
>> Well, the washboard abs don't come in the shot.
>> We're never getting washboard abs. Let's just be clear.
>> That's a separate shot. I don't know.
>> No, but just just to kind of take off that pressure that we all I think are guilty of putting on ourselves knowing that a lot of it people have had help.
>> But isn't it a good idea to come out and do you think it's a good idea to just tell everybody like Ricky?
>> Absolutely. Absolutely. been very with everything. I had um some lipo suction.
I had breast reduction and a breast lift. I'm like the bionic woman. I've got like all kind of like little stuff >> and and yet she sings you make me feel like a natural woman.
>> I I I just think you need to be transparent about it.
>> The problem is though that I mean that there's also a lot of people who can't afford to do the things that expensive.
>> Okay. Courtney Kardashian just turned 47. Happy birthday. and her husband Travis Barker celebrated on social media with a message reading. H the message said this, "Happy birthday, my beautiful wife. I love you forever and ever." He also included this photo where he's sucking a heart.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> Oh my god.
>> So, first of all, that picture should come with a warning, particularly if somebody's somebody's eating at the moment. Well, but I mean, first of all, do you like two parts to this question?
Do you like having your toe sucked? And part two, do you do you want your husband to post it on social media?
>> I find it revoling.
>> Why unhygienic?
>> I just think it's unhygienic and disgusting.
>> I still suck on my kids toes. I grab them.
>> I'm going to be honest. I kiss my babies.
They're delicious. I want to eat them. I want to put them on a sandwich.
>> But see, babies are like uber clean because you're cleaning them. All right.
>> Do you remember this again?
>> Oh, >> that's a beautiful foot.
>> That's a beautiful foot.
>> Okay. Who wants to suck on them?
>> How about you, sir?
>> But listen, you you shouldn't kink shame your spouse. You should be open to what they might be into, but the need to share it on social media is when I take initiative.
>> Well, they do a lot of PDA since they met. And parts of me are a little bit of jealous. Like, >> yeah. Do you guys remember >> you're jealous of that? My husband does not chase me around nibbling on my toes.
I think that would give me >> That's hard to do when you're running around.
>> Of all the places he could nibble, my toes would be on the last spot. But >> the uh this party's getting rough.
>> The uh the Do you remember? Do you remember like it back back when um there was a scandal, a toe sucking scandal when Sarah Ferguson was separated from back then prison and and she got caught with a man like in a in a beach resort with a man who was sucking her toes. Is she serious?
>> And then she had to go when Yeah, cuz it was paparazzi. I mean, this was like a telephoto. This is on this Kardashian thing on Instagram. That was like a a paparazzi candid shot using a telephoto.
And then she had to go and see the queen and explain it to the queen.
>> What did the queen say?
>> Do you know?
>> Uh, no. I wasn't there, Joy.
>> Well, you know, you seem to know when she said to her, >> "Keep your shoes on."
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. And if you're going to get sucked on, do it in private.
>> There are foot fetishes though. This there was an episode of Sex in the City where there's a guy who's super into Carrie's foot and like >> You can make this second.
>> I think I told you the guys that story, right?
>> Which one?
>> Oh, your friend. Her husband.
>> My friend. Yeah. My friend's husband at the time was a photograph is a photographer and he agreed to take photos for another friend's birthday party. So we kind of broke into his computer because we wanted to see the pictures already. All the pictures were of our >> That is so Okay. She actually pictures >> because this might be a crime. She didn't actually break into anybody's computer. I didn't >> The computer was open, right? And then we looked for a secret file.
>> I have a question. Is he a podiatrist?
>> No. With them?
>> And they're divorced now. But we we had to call it to her attention. Question on the toe sucking. Is it a turnon >> for some people?
>> Is it an erogynous zone or an erroneous zone?
>> I don't I'm sure it could be. I think anything really could be.
>> I mean, a foot massage does feel great.
I love a massage, >> right? And when they hit the toes, those guys.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> It's pretty hot.
>> Usually hit your hands. So, >> honey, particularly if the guy giving you the foot massage is Matthew McConna.
>> I know that's true. Matthew McConna gave me a foot massage on this show. Remember we went in the Hamptons and got foot massages.
>> Not by Matthew Mchanic.
>> Not by Matthew, but he's only does me.
>> His price has gone up since he worked with her feet.
>> Okay. Now, here's this. The messy divorce between real housewife Lisa, she doesn't have a last name. Her name is Lee Hawk.
>> Hawk.
>> Um, anyway, she and her ex-husband Dr. Lenny Hawkstein, that's his name, just got Messia the divorce. Okay. because Lisa turn and so Lisa turned her herself in to face a felony charge that she was spying on him.
>> She pleaded not guilty, but there's real bad blood since they split in 2022.
>> So if your ex were making you that miserable, is a little spying warranted is my question.
>> No. If they're making you miserable, >> a little moving on is warranted. Moving on.
>> Well, maybe a little spying to find out exactly what's going on. I'm not averse to that if it's a one party consent state.
>> I I don't I don't think that's the way to separate them.
>> But the problem with these two for more when you go in.
>> Yeah. You'll find what you're looking for.
>> They can't quite move on because the problem with these two is they have little children. So, they're going to be co-parenting for the next 10 12.
>> Another reason not to creep up on her dad like her.
>> But she turned her she turned herself in and her mug shot is great.
>> Yeah. Let's see the mug shot. You got it.
>> That is the lesson. If you're going to do crimes, have a look.
>> I don't understand that look. I don't get that look. It's very Mara Lago said the same thing.
>> It looks fake. It doesn't look like those lips. Yeah.
>> It's better than a lot of muck shots that you see. Like your muck shot is like forever. Like if you're going to like um get your driver's license done or your >> apply for a job and they look you up.
>> Yeah. You want to you want to have a good driver's license. I want to win.
Look at my mug shot.
>> Here's the thing though.
>> Did you Photoshop a mug shot?
>> No. Oh, well then how did she get that on Instagram? Because she got her makeup in because she turned herself in so she had a full face of glam.
>> Therein lies the difference. She wasn't arrested in the middle of the night. She turned herself in all done and real housewives are surgically attached to the glam.
>> Do you remember that hot guy that got arrested guy?
>> The the guy that guy remember his mug shot?
>> You know he got a modeling job off of that mug shot.
>> Well, he's very cute. I'd let him suck my >> but I don't normally >> when I'm swiping I don't normally swipe motion right maybe that one shot but you see we'll be right back we got to go so we have talked here before about the nearly 10-year wedding engagement of real housewife of Rhode Island Alicia and her fiance Billy. But on the after show, we found out what's really keeping her from walking down the aisle. Let's watch this clip.
>> He made me sign a prenup. He wanted me to. So, I went to the lawyers and they said, "He's not even leaving with you with a penny. Nothing." You know, >> he won't put my name on the house. I will sign a prenup. I I don't want to take away from what you did in the past.
I don't want your businesses with your family, your your your friends, everything, but like I just want something. So, I feel like I live rent free. This is my problem. I don't really pay for anything. I pay for my nails.
>> But you literally are a mother and your wife and >> I agree. But deep down inside, I'm like, "Okay, like you're not working, but he didn't really want you to work, Alicia."
So, it wasn't like an easy situation for me that someone that didn't go to college that just trusted him to like go to the lawyers and be like, "Okay, it kind of made me feel like you don't trust me and I don't even spend his money."
>> Would a prenup keep that you couldn't get? He didn't want to give it to her.
Would that keep you from marrying the guy? Would that be a red light?
>> Red flag.
>> Red would um >> a red flag.
>> I'll translate for joy. Um no, this situation is a little bit of a red flag because you know um there's no insurance or security for her. Like she's the mother, the wife, the partner. And it's beyond just not trusting her. It's almost saying >> they have children.
>> Yeah, I know. But if god forbid something happens, you have no security.
Everyone wants to know they have a a stake in something or their name in something and he's not putting it anywhere. And that to me is the fear is not that you're planning on a divorce, but >> that means you're not you don't even care if I feel safe here and comfortable here and part of this. But my question is why the 9-year engagement? Because you also don't get any assurance in an engagement like she's not getting protected in any way. At minimum, she should talk. These are conversations you should have. You should talk about finances before getting married. I think it's one of the biggest drivers of divorce. But like I am home together at least entitle to alimony to child support and I would imagine if they break up a roof over their heads >> you know there was a time in history when nobody had a prenup and they got divorced and then you paid alimony. Why why is it any different? Well, why rely on the state when you can rely on your partner to say, "Hey, we're coming into this together. If, god forbid, something happens, we're both parents."
>> Legally without a marriage, all she's entitled to really would be um I guess child support, >> not no common law like after seven years.
>> Seven years in some states, but not all states. Um and I I mean I I just don't know. He seems to have what you build before your marriage, you're entitled to, right? then you get married and then of course you would you would separate it with your and have without a um without a prenup. But what I don't understand is if he's built this sort of empire of 10 businesses when he's been with her, she should be entitled to private.
>> It's a red flag. It definitely means he's not >> um getting getting even some level of prenups has become much easier, right? I mean you can like go to whatever 1800 >> 1800er.com and and get some sort of form. I do have friends who've had prenups signed and then make a lot of money and the prenups get challenged when they go get divorced and they are in huge fights despite the prenups because >> you know that people say oh I signed it under duress I didn't read it I didn't have a good lawyer whatever uh so even prenups aren't you know there is there are some states I think California is one of them where you have when you get a divorce >> community >> you split it they split I I don't really approve of that >> because I know people who are celebs I won't mention names >> who did all the work they are the talent they made all the money they got married in LA or LA or you know and then they get divorced and then the the the spouse gets half the money I think that's unfortun part is that they secure something for their partner because you >> but I'm talking about half and millions of dollars that these people >> do you remember was it Joan Collins who had a a palimony suit I mean she had been with a guy I can't remember his name for years and he sued her for uh for a palimony and got something >> yes so that was a new law then >> that was newh >> but I do think how you treat the mother of your kids even if you're not married says a lot about you so I think giving them some level of assurance even if you're saying I don't think he owes her everything he's earned, but saying if our marriage doesn't work out, my kid will be taken care of and when they're with you in your home, you're going to be in a safe place and you're going to have some provisions. I think that's crucial.
>> Well, according to this um divorce attorney and the CEO of what they call trusted prenup, here's the best time to bring up the subject. Watch.
>> So, let's say that someone wants a prenup with their partner.
>> Yeah.
>> When do they broach it? Pre-engagement.
Straight after the bachelorette party.
How would you go about it?
>> Personally, I think third date. Like I think I I'm not kidding. I think that there's plenty of ways to safely enter that discussion. Talk about celebrity that's getting married. I wonder if they have a prenup. Oh, Travis and uh Taylor, I wonder if they're having a prenup. Get start getting the temperature of this person as to, "Well, I would never have a prenup." Or saying, "Oh, I'm sure they do. It's a smart I mean, they're both smart business people. Why wouldn't they have a prenup?" Like, start to get the feeling of what this person's, you know, or are they just dead silent on it?
Which tells you something that silence.
I think a question like, "Hey, you know, how do you feel about things like a prenup?" I think that's a useful dialogue to have. To me, you can't feel loved if you don't feel safe.
>> Bringing up marriage on a third date is wild. I'm sorry, that's too much.
>> I like his example, though. Do you think Travis and uh Kelsey and and Taylor Swift have a prenup? That's a really easy way to kind of inject it instead of what do you think about marriage? You think they got a prenup? You know, by the third date, you should be jumping in and out of bed and not even having these conversations. If you're not, then dump them.
>> Such a >> I know.
We'll be right.
So, um, recent baby maker Alyssa was recently on the Webbby award-winning Behind the Table podcast and they talked about a parenting trend that's gotten out of hand. Watch.
>> There was something that caught my eye and I wanted to get your take on. The creator of the gender reveal party, you know what a gender reveal party is? Um, he she now says that she's horrified at what parents are doing. I feel like we constantly see these viral videos of gender reveals gone horribly, horribly wrong on social media. I can't get enough of them. What's your take on it?
>> Okay. I generally agree with her. I believe in celebrating the best moments in life. But I think that this outside pressure of like, okay, you get engaged and you need an engagement party, then you need a bridal shower, then you have a wedding, which costs a fortune, then you need an Instagram worthy honeymoon, then you have a baby and you need some over-the-top baby reveal, then you need a baby shower, then you have a baby and do a sip and see. Like, I love attending all those things. It's a lot to plan to be part of. It's expensive and it puts this pressure on people that like if I didn't do this, am I not like mom enough? Am I not bright enough?
>> Did you uh do do you like was there any kind of big moment when you found out you were having a boy?
>> We wanted a boy. I felt like it was a boy. And I think I told the story it became abundantly clear at the 20 week that I was having a boy.
>> Oh, there we go. Hey, now. Yeah.
>> It was like we laughed so hard. It was the most perfect shot that I was like, "Yes, that's a little boy." And that was all the gender reveal we needed.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> The shot was so cute.
embarrassing him already and he's two months old.
>> I I actually wanted to be surprised when I was pregnant with Gabriel and uh Manny was there for the sonogram and he wanted a boy and I wanted a girl and then he's you know they were going over the stomach and Manny goes yes and I was like >> you both try to hide >> but you both got your wish. You have a boy and a girl.
>> I have a boy and a girl. Yeah, but we he >> would you like to have that happen to you, miss, if you had a baby?
>> I I I Well, I'm not having a baby. I'm 54 years old. If I'm have a baby, call the Vatican cuz I want it declared a miracle. Um I I I don't know. I just think that, you know, if you're in involving a plane, a helicopter, a hot air balloon in your proposals or your gender reveals, it's a little over the top.
>> The question is, are there too many parties going on?
>> Well, that those gender reveals that I've seen gone wrong, it's not worth it.
Yeah.
>> Like people are blowing up their cars, blowing up houses, pyrochnics and stuff is exploding.
>> Dads are crying cuz it's a girl, not a boy.
>> Yeah. It's like it's bad.
>> It also just feels like um a little intimate moment. Like when when we found out each time it was more about Max and I experiencing it than anyone else, >> but by the way, they can get it they can get it wrong on the 20 week. A friend of mine thought she was having a boy until her 30 week and they were like, "Oh, no, never mind. It was like a limb. It's it's a girl.
I have no words.
>> I have no words.
>> But but you know, I think in a way I like the idea of doing it because I like the more parties the better. Life is short. Have a party. So maybe I I don't >> I like I like the the the gender reveal gone wrongs or the proposals gone wrong that involve helium balloons.
>> You like the the the engagement ring is it and it flies away.
>> It flies away before they can catch it or the >> there've been a lot of problems. My husband proposed on the back of a boat and I gave him the wrong ring size cuz I I don't know. I guess I didn't know my ring size. I'm like that could have fallen into Lake Winnipegasi like hundreds and hundreds of feet down. I don't think it was insured at the time.
They had to be careful.
>> Yes.
>> So if you have another one, you'll do another gender reveal party.
>> No, no, I will either tell No, I'll probably keep it to myself and >> How many do you want to have?
>> Two and then vasectomy.
>> Two and Justin gets snipped. I've done all the hard work.
>> You see how she does this? She goes like this. I don't think Justin wants to see you do this.
>> Well, she's had three.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. She didn't get the basectomy.
>> I know. He keeps trying.
>> Not the vasectomy either.
>> So, um, in case you haven't noticed, Behind the Table streams wherever you get your podcasts or you can watch us on YouTube. Have a great day, everyone.
Take a little time to enjoy the weekend view.
