[00:01:50]Ednesday main concern is going to be looking coastal. It's going to be that high surf rip current risk for us as we head into the middle to possibly end of week with that high rip current risk. Now right now tropical depression too does look very disorganized on our satellite imagery. Radar is still for the most part dry, but we do have some of those outer bands already making their way towards the Florida Big Bend. This is going to be similar to what we could see later on down the line Tuesday, Wednesday, uh with a few of those pockets of heavier downpours, then clouds and some breezy conditions with the bulk of the system looking like it's going to be staying to the south. And this is what we're going to be watching as we head into the middle of the week.

[00:02:31]So, just something to keep in mind here Tuesday and Wednesday. You'll have some brief periods with some heavy rain showers. Now, you can see we do still have a lot of that rain and wind staying in the south in the Gulf. So, we'll be watching that closely. But you can see those outer bands is what we'll be watching for Wednesday and or Tuesday and Wednesday with some of those brief periods of some heavy tropical rains.

[00:02:51]They are not going to be looking like a wash out for Tuesday or Wednesday.

[00:02:55]Again, coastal conditions will be the main concern as we head into the middle of the week. And then by the time we hit Thursday, you can see that system moving south of Louisiana. Going to be moving more and more towards the west as we head into our Friday. By Thursday, winds should calm down and our rain chances with the system will already be subsiding. So, we are going to be watching that closely as we head into the middle to end of the week.

[00:03:22]>> It is 7:02. The look outside 110 near Tahar Drive this morning. Traffic moving smoothly there. Although a short while ago there was a wreck at Davis Highway and Plantation Road. There is no roadblock, but keep that in mind if it's part of your morning drive. This morning, the US military carrying out more air strikes against Iran after three more American troops were killed over the weekend.

[00:03:44]>> This when Iran targeted a US base in Jordan. One soldier listed now as missing. The most recent death in northern Iraq.

[00:03:53]>> Video circulating online appears to show Iranian missiles hitting a military base in Jordan, killing two Americans.

[00:04:00]Central Command also says a body found could be the missing third service member.

[00:04:06]18 18 Americans have died so far in the war. There are roughly 50,000 troops in the region and overnight the US hit a series of targets to weaken Iran's ability to control the street of Hormuse.

[00:04:18]>> Iran has retaliated each time sending missiles toward US allies. In one strike, they targeted a desalination plant in Kuwait that supplies about 90% of that country's drinking water. Are the Iranians getting information, targeting information, intelligence from another country? If they are, uh, that would explain how they're getting very accurate in their ability to reach out and strike not only our base in Jordan, but say the desalinization plant, power plant in Kuwait.

[00:04:47]>> A US official has told ABC News that more American war planes are being sent to the Middle East, including fighter jets that are currently stationed in the UK and Germany. Well, here in Florida, gas prices are jumping again.

[00:05:00]>> Last week, prices spiked 19 cents and it eased a bit with Friday's average at 396 a gallon. Today, it's 394.

[00:05:09]>> AAA blaming the war and a strong demand for fuel in the summertime. The prices we're seeing are 84 cents higher than we were paying a year ago. Northwest Florida does still see Florida's least expensive gas. We check the prices around Pensacola to Panama City area.

[00:05:24]That's averaging in the 370s.

[00:05:27]>> Separate boating accidents took the lives of two people, two Mobile residents, happened Saturday night.

[00:05:33]>> One happened in Wolf Bay near Orange Beach just after 8:00. The two boats collided, critically injuring a woman who later passed away. She was taken to Bowwin Health in Foley, where she was pronounced dead. Troopers confirmed her identity as 46-year-old Kristen Delaney.

[00:05:48]>> The other fatality in Mobile Bay off of Point Clear. 18-year-old was piloting the boat when he fell overboard.

[00:05:55]Passengers stopped the boat, made a search, didn't find him. A dive team did find his body yesterday morning. Marine patrol still investigating both those incidents.

[00:06:06]>> We are waiting for more information about report that a boat hit the Bob Sykes bridge >> Saturday night. Our cameras looking at first responders at the scene. We did reach out for more information. When they let us know officially, we'll let you know officially right here.

[00:06:20]>> Yeah. And we're also waiting for more information on a crash and arrest after the Pensacola Beach air show.

[00:06:26]>> Viewers sent us pictures of the accident which was in Gulf Breeze out of the afternoon. Now FHB says the same truck was involved in multiple accidents on Pensacola Beach. He was arrested by Gulf Breeze police after being stopped. We're still finding out more about how this unfolded. When we find it out, we'll let you know.

[00:06:43]>> This morning, an elderly Navar woman is recovering after being rescued from her home. Holly Novara Fire District said time is of the essence when it comes to rescues, especially when the home is being filled by smoke.

[00:06:55]>> W's Arya Cirker with more on how this all went down. What firefighters did to get her out. Good morning.

[00:07:01]>> Good morning. Around 8:00 Saturday night, the Holly Navar Fire District responded to a home on Villa Court.

[00:07:08]These photos of the blaze were shared by Midway Fire District who assisted. Chief Kevin Lewis of Holly Navar said a neighbor called in the fire. One child and five adults lived in the home, but only the elderly woman was there when the fire started. Battalion Chief Jason Martino found the woman unconscious.

[00:07:26]Lewis said the quick response and immediate emergency treatment saved her life.

[00:07:31]>> Once you're in a house filled with smoke, you you you have minutes because everything's made out of plastic and hydrocarbons and petrochemicals. It's not like the 1950s and60s where everything's cotton and wood. Uh nowadays you have just minutes.

[00:07:46]>> The woman was taken to a hospital in Navar before being airlifted to Sacred Heart in Pensacola. Lewis believes she is in stable condition. Seven dogs and one cat were killed in the fire. The state fire marshall's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.

[00:11:50]Nine people had to be sent to the hospital after a shooting in Tucson.

[00:11:54]>> Happened overnight Saturday into Sunday.

[00:11:56]Police say they were near the scene, heard the gunshots, they ran towards the scene, came on the suspect. Police say they gave some commands repeatedly.

[00:12:04]Ultimately, an officer shot the suspect.

[00:12:06]Investigators have not yet confirmed what led to that shooting.

[00:12:09]>> They are, however, investigating whether it started as some kind of argument between two groups of people. Nine people were critically injured with gunshots to their extremities. The suspect was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. At this point, no more information has been released.

[00:12:24]>> Let's talk about the investigations into the recent shootings by immigration officers in Texas and in Maine. A controversial report this morning in the New York Times says federal agents have been told the FBI will no longer investigate confrontations involving ICE officers.

[00:12:39]>> The administration says no, denying the report. Now, the Times reports agents were notified such cases would be handled by an agency called Homeland Security Investigations a part of ICE.

[00:12:52]>> Effectively, then the agency would be investigating itself. Now, the FBI and Homeland Security are denying that there has been any policy change. They say the FBI will continue to investigate in line with agency policy.

[00:13:05]>> This, of course, comes after two recent deadly shootings involving ICE officers.

[00:13:09]One in Bedford, Maine, the other in Houston. Agents in both cases were not wearing body cameras. Border ZAR Tom Hullman says ICE is moving forward with plans to equip agents with those cameras.

[00:13:21]The Tate brothers due in court today on rape and sex trafficking charges.

[00:13:26]>> Andrew and Tristan Tate set to appear before a federal magistrate in Miami.

[00:13:30]The influencer brothers are being held in federal detention.

[00:13:34]>> They were arrested Saturday on charges that are out of the United Kingdom.

[00:13:38]British prosecutors say the charges are connected to four victims with the alleged incidents taking place between 2010 and 2017. Now, the attorney for the brothers calls the charges and I quote, slander. In the coming weeks, a judge will decide if the tates meet the conditions for extradition.

[00:13:56]>> At least six people are dead after an earthquake hit the Andes region of Peru.

[00:14:01]>> 5.5 earthquake hit late last night. More than 30 injured, 300 people displaced.

[00:14:06]Not clear how many people are listed as missing.

[00:14:08]>> We do know there have been multiple building collapses and widespread damages reported. Officials say the use of rustic adobe materials to build homes in the region contributed to the amount of damage. In 2007, there was an earthquake in Peru that killed 600 people. The magnitude of that quake 7.9.

[00:14:26]>> And there's more. Severe weather blamed on the deaths of at least eight people, all killed in flood waters.

[00:14:32]>> There have been several days now of heavy rain and flooding across the Texas Hill Country and other parts of the Southwest. In Utah, a fire captain, his wife, and three children, and their sons were killed when they were swept away Friday afternoon by a flash flood.

[00:14:48]>> It happened during a family hiking trip in the Fish Lake National Forest near the town of Big Nell. And then in Arizona, Puma County Sheriff's Department says the body of a 29year-old developmentally disabled man was recovered on Saturday. Witnesses saying he was swept into the Santa Cruz River in Tucson by a flash flood. In Texas, Governor Abbott announcing two people were killed in flash flooding that hit Uvalde and Care counties.

[00:15:22]>> Stark change of scenery there. You know, prayers for those folks affected by that flooding. Of course, we've got, I guess, perhaps our own flooding worries if not to that scale from the rain or is that really going further south away from us?

[00:15:34]>> It's looking like most of the rain should be south. We'll still have a few little pockets of some heavier showers.

[00:15:38]Right now, what we're going to be looking at is going to be the main concern and we're already seeing that.

[00:15:42]It's going to be that rip current risk increase for us as we head into the middle to end of the week. Uh we're watching closely tropical depression, too. But as of right now, coastal conditions, that's going to be our big concern. And again, you can already see those rip currents forming. They're going to be getting into a little bit worse as we go forward. We'll have a high rep risk, high surf especially Tuesday, Wednesday, uh possibly into Thursday as well. So, that's what we're going to be watching closely as we move forward. We'll still have a few of those outer bands move through with some pockets of some heavier showers could picking up pick up anywhere up to about an inch of rain over the next couple of days. So, you there's a look at your radar. You can see where we do have tropical depression, too. We're already looking at some of those outer bands moving along the coastline. Going to be that Florida Big Bend area as well as Appalachiccola. Now, it does still look disorganized. Tropical depression, too, uh this morning does not look too organized for us currently. That is expected to change as we head into the next 24 hours. It is forecast to become a tropical storm by the end of the day today and then it will make that way closer towards the northwest eventually more westward turn as we head into our Thursday Friday. We'll still watch closely for any changes in this forecast but as of right now it does look like the bulk of the activity just with the shear that we're expecting on that northern half the side uh will stay more to the south and you can see our forecast model still taking it more to the south of us as we move forward. So, let's take a look at what we can expect with this forecast model. This is just one of many forecast models. You can see again, lots of shear to the north. That does mean that it's going to be a little more bottom heavy, which means this is where a lot of the wind and rain will be in the Gulf. We'll still have some of those outer bands whipping around going into our Tuesday. Thursday is where we'll have the best chance of some of those heavier pockets of some showers.

[00:17:31]It does move through as we go into our Wednesday still. Again, we'll have brief periods of heavy rain and then we'll have clouds and some breezy conditions.

[00:17:39]Still going to be quite breezy for us.

[00:17:41]Even though that center of circulation offshore, it is going to continue to move more towards the west as we head into our Wednesday. You can see by Wednesday evening, it's going to be well outside of our viewing area. We will be watching closely with some heavier pockets of some rain mixed in going into Tuesday, Wednesday, starting as early as tonight with some heavier brief periods of tropical uh rain pores. We'll see that going into that Tuesday. Again, it's going to be fast, but we'll still have some of those uh brief periods of tropical rains moving through going into our Wednesday as well with again coastal especially brief periods of tropical rains all the way into our late Wednesday evening. By the time you hit Wednesday evening, you will notice significantly drier conditions and we'll see drier weather heading into your Thursday and Friday. Overall, when it's said and done, we could pick up anywhere between a quarter of an inch to about an inch of rain. Uh, it really just depends on where some of those heavier pockets of tropical showers move through, especially south of I 10. Look at north of I 10, our rain chances are going to be a bit lower. Winds will also stay high. We're expecting winds up to about 20 to 30 mph winds. So, it is going to be breezy Tuesday and Wednesday, especially. So, even if you don't see that rain, it's going to be cloudy and breezy as you head into that afternoon.

[00:18:53]So, expecting things to look breezy Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, the breezy conditions will come to an end.

[00:19:01]As for our alerts, currently we are under that tropical storm watch that does go until further notice. Uh we do have our tropical storm warning where we're more likely to see those tropical storm force winds just offshore, well offshore. Uh so, we will be watching again for any changes in that forecast track, but as of now, looking like it is going to be staying just to the south.

[00:19:20]Let's take a look at what we can expect with your 7-day outlook. We do have your chance of rain coming in Tuesday, Wednesday, again, going to be brief periods of some heavy rain mixed in with just some very cloudy and breezy weather for Tuesday and Wednesday. Going into your Thursday, Friday, we'll see our rain chances coming to an end. And you will still look at your temperatures staying in the 90s. Overall, main concern with that system to the south is going to be coastal. It's going to be that surf and that rip current risk.

[00:19:44]Ripcurren risk is expected to stay high possibly into Thursday, Friday. Could linger there. So, we want to make sure we're paying close attention to those coastal conditions if you have any of those coastal plans as we head into the end of the week.

[00:20:00]Keeping an eye on that Monday morning drive. And so far, we're looking good.

[00:20:04]This is I 10 west of Pensacola Boulevard. Getting a little bit busier this time of day, but moving smoothly at 7:18.

[00:25:36]Something was missing in the sky Saturday at the Pensacola Beach Air Show. What one of our state lawmakers says about her conversation with Blue Angel pilot number three.

[00:28:21]It is 7:27. Welcome back to the morning current. I'm Laura Hussy.

[00:28:25]>> And I'm Jared Willitz. And we got a little something going out there. A little tropical situation, but nothing to be too awfully concerned about.

[00:28:32]>> Yeah. Well, what we're mainly looking at coastal impacts here. It's going to be high surf current risk for us. We'll also have some of those outer bands as we head into our Tuesday and Wednesday, but it does still maintain looking like the bulk of the system stays south in the Gulf for us. Now, right now, it is tropical depression, too. It is likely to become tropical storm Bertha by the end of the day today, but currently not looking too organized. We're seeing some of those outer bands make their way onto the Florida Big Bend, Appalachiccola area. This is going to be a similar forecast for us with some of those outer bands moving on shore heading into our Tuesday and Wednesday. So, that's where we will have the chance of some of those brief heavy showers. Now, it's important to be said, doesn't look like a wash out Tuesday or Wednesday. We're just going to have those bands move through. Every once in a while throughout the day, you might see some of those heavier tropical showers, especially along the coastline.

[00:29:21]Now you can see this is just one of our forecast models, but we are seeing this trend through most of them uh where we do have this really sort of uh bottom heavy with those showers, thunderstorms just because of the shear we're seeing to the north. So we'll be watching for mainly just some of those outer bands with the bulk of the heavy rain, those high rain totals staying in the Gulf.

[00:29:41]We'll still see some of those showers coming in as we head into our Wednesday.

[00:29:45]By the time we hit uh late Wednesday going into Thursday, that's when that system will be south of Louisiana. For us, we'll also see some breezy conditions. Winds possibly gusting as high as 20 to 30 miles an hour for our Tuesday and Wednesday as we see uh just sort of that higher windfield come through as we head into the middle of the week. We do still have our tropical storm watch in effect for coastal areas.

[00:30:08]It does include our entire coastline.

[00:30:10]That her tropical storm warning is going to be well offshore. will continue to watch as that continues to move towards the west if they do expand that tropical storm warning. But right now, it does remain offshore with those tropical storm warnings uh that have been issued with what is right now a tropical depression, too. Again, we're going to be watching this as we head through the middle of the week. We'll see coastal impact start as early as today.

[00:30:38]>> Let's get a quick look outside, shall we? This is the interstate near Pine Forest Road. Busy busy, but no problems to speak of and no slowdowns anywhere so far this morning.

[00:30:46]>> 7:29. Now, after his sudden death, Lindsey Graham's office has now announced two memorials to honor the late senator.

[00:30:54]>> He died July the 11th. The first memorial will be in DC Tuesday, the 28th of July, the second in, South Carolina the following day.

[00:31:02]>> Voters first elected the former Air Force lawyer to the Senate in 2002. He was campaigning for a fifth term when he died at 71 from complications of heart disease.

[00:31:12]>> It was another successful year for the Pensacola Beach Air Show. A few things did kind of happen, but we'll move on.

[00:31:18]>> Well, if you judge it in terms of attendance, I think you got a, you know, 10 out of 10. Thousands of thousands of people packing Casino Beach for the action on Saturday.

[00:31:28]>> After a full, well, almost a week of action with the Blues flying four days in a row. Now, we're hearing a lot about traffic being slow or at a standstill on the island after the show on Saturday.

[00:31:40]>> There are no numbers yet for the number of cars that passed over the Bob Sykes bridge. Now, I would swear we were driving a dust in both days for family stuff. I think it went all the way there. It was hot out as well. Local emergency responders were prepared for what was a big big uh you know, a lot of folks. They did have something of a field hospital set up and were stationed at a number of locations to handle medical emergencies.

[00:32:03]>> Now, one thing spectators didn't notice, Blue Angel Jet number three was not in the sky.

[00:32:08]>> You all know this. This comes after that low pass at breakfast with the Blues Wednesday. Now, there was support for from the White House, from the Pentagon, the Secretary of War. The Blue Angels say it was simply below their standards.

[00:32:22]State Representative Michelle Salsman says she spoke with the pilot of jet number three. In a Facebook post, she said, quote, "He didn't make excuses. He didn't try to shift blame. He simply talked about the miscalculated turn, something no pilot ever wants to experience, especially one who's dedicated his life to flying at the highest level of precision."

[00:32:42]>> Apparently, he talked about the weight he's been carrying since that moment.

[00:32:46]went on to say, "The Blue Angels don't take training lightly, of course, and at the end of the day, well, mistakes can be made."

[00:32:52]>> She called for grace and continued support for the Blue Angels in Northwest Florida.

[00:32:57]>> That goes without saying.

[00:32:58]>> Pensacola Beach Air Show did contribute to some flight delays at Pensacola International Airport.

[00:33:04]>> Several flights Saturday unable to depart or arrive during periods when flight restrictions were in place for the air show. Flight aware shows how many? 153 flights were delayed at Pensacola from Thursday through Saturday. We did speak to the airport and this is what they had to say.

[00:33:20]>> So, one of them is uh you know the airport, we're under major construction for our east west runway. Um and that's like an 11-month project. So, that limited us to our north south runway.

[00:33:32]Well, it just take a look at a map. the what they call a temporary flight restriction was uh centered down on the beach there at the air show that potentially uh impacts use of one of our north south runways uh namely the one heading north.

[00:33:49]>> Flights went back to normal with no significant delays reported Sunday.

[00:33:53]>> All right, today is the deadline to register if you want to vote in next month's primary election. August 18th includes races for the governor, state cabinet offices, US Senate, other congressional legislative races. Locally includes things like the referendum on whether superintendent should be elected or appointed into Scambia County.

[00:34:12]>> Today is also the day to change your political affiliation if you want to switch parties. And that's important because Florida is a closed primary state. Partisan primaries can only be voted on by members of that specific party.

[00:34:24]>> Vice President JD Vance and the Mrs. is welcoming child number four.

[00:34:28]>> The baby was born yesterday. The vice president thanking the medical staff at Walter Reed and the White House medical unit as well.

[00:34:36]>> He said the second lady and the baby are happy and healthy. The baby's name is Alec Neil Vance joining siblings Elon VC and Mirabel.

[00:38:16]>> And new research says you're probably right. Scientific statement published by the American Heart Association in the journal Circulation says up to five cups a day.

[00:38:29]>> Yeah. The report found for those who have had a procedure to address an irregular heart rhythm, daily coffee can cut the risk of the condition returning by 39%.

[00:40:00]>> All right. Now, those who spent more time in bright daylight went to sleep and woke up earlier. Those with consistent daytime exposure reported sleeping deeper and healthier.

[00:40:13]Experts say the study reinforces what we already know. light basically just resets your internal clock and exposure to that bright morning light, not through a window, right? Got to get out there in it. They say that is the most beneficial for sleep health.

[00:40:26]>> This is the they talk most it's morning light they're really into, right?

[00:40:29]>> If if you can do it, the morning light is ideal. Otherwise, if you're like on a shift like we are, they say get out there later in the day for a longer period of time. But make sure you get that exposure in the sunlight. And on the flip side, they say if you limit bright light at night, that that can help you sleep as well.

[00:41:02]>> More ahead. It's an outbreak being blamed on a parasite and track to a single ingredient. Who is pulling lettuce off the shelves in This is new for you. An $11,000 reward is now being offered for any information that leads to the arrest of a woman who was wanted for murder.

[00:43:54]>> Isabelle Johnson is wanted in the murder of Jason Kulart, whose remains were found in Freeport last month. Now, five people have already been arrested as accessories after the fact.

[00:44:04]>> You can call the number on your screen for Crimestoppers. are offering a reward for any information again that leads to her arrest.

[00:44:11]>> Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling some of its iceberg lettuce in 27 states amid the ongoing cycllospores outbreak.

[00:44:19]>> The recall includes all states along the Gulf Coast, Florida, Alabama included.

[00:44:23]The effective lettuce was sourced from central Mexico. It's the shredded lettuce sold between June 29th and July 16th at Walmart locations. Now, this lettuce also went to other places, including restaurants like Taco Bell.

[00:44:37]Originally, the outbreak was traced back to lettuce served at Taco Bells in five states that led them to pull lettuce off of the menu. More than 1,600 people have gotten sick in this outbreak.

[00:44:56]>> Should we worry not? I mean, we'll see some coastal conditions. So that's what the main concern is going to be high surf and also going to be that high rip current risk. So that's going to be what we're watching with what is right now tropical depression too expected to become tropical storm Bertha as we head into the next 24 hours likely to strengthen but right now it is looking very disorganized. You can see we see lots of sunshine right now. We'll start to see a little bit of a rain chance coming in for Tuesday and Wednesday.

[00:45:23]We'll have some of those outer bands impacting us. You can see your radar currently looking nice and dry. where we're seeing it, it's going to be well to the south of Appalachiccola, moving right now towards the northwest, eventually going to turn more west. You can see where we do have some of those showers starting off with those outer bands. Very similar uh concern for us with some of those outer bands heading into your Tuesday and Wednesday. So, here's a look at that satellite imagery.

[00:45:48]again doesn't look too organized here, but as we see it later on in the week, it will start to encounter some better conditions where we should see it uh get a little more organized. As it moves to the south of our area, we are expecting it to encounter sheer and some dry air, which is why we are expecting it to be a little more bottomheavy where most of the impacts remain in the Gulf. But again, outer bands is what we'll see as well as a high rip current risk and that high surf as we head into the end of the week. So there's a look at the tropics guidance. You can see how those forecast models do take it more towards the west.

[00:46:22]Really starting to see a little bit more agreement here. It is going to continue to encounter some of that shear uh over the next couple of days as it moves south of us. So again, a little bit more of a bottom heavy system. So you can still see some of those outer bands moving on shore, but look at where the bulk of that rain is. It's going to be right to the south of that center of circulation. Heavy rain. That's where most of that heavy rain falls. We're also going to be looking at most of those tropical storm force winds along that center and you can see remains to the south of our area. We'll still be watching some of those pockets of some heavy tropical showers mixed in here.

[00:46:56]We'll still look at lots of just cloudy skies. It's not going to be looking like a wash out either day, Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll look at the breezy conditions as well. Going to be very windy as we head through the middle of the week. It will continue to move more and more towards the west. So, let's take a look at that futurecast. Another forecast model for you. Again, we could start to see some of those bands come in later this evening where we do have a chance of some heavier brief pockets of tropical showers. It is going to continue for that Tuesday. Again, we'll have some heavy showers, especially along the coastline as we head into your Tuesday with those outer bands moving through. We'll be watching for breezy weather and cloudy weather outside of those showers. It will continue until at least late Wednesday with those rounds of possibly heavy rain showers coming to an end as you head into the evening on Wednesday. After that, we will be looking at much calmer weather Thursday, Friday, rain totals, we could pick up anywhere between about a quarter of an inch to possibly up to about an inch of rain. This is just again one forecast model, but if it does continue to stay more to the south, uh we'll be looking at rain totals up to about an inch with this. As for your winds, it's going to be breezy. We're expecting your winds to pick up today. We'll see 15 20 mph winds. Could gust as high as 20 to 30 as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday. So, we will be looking at a little bit of some higher winds as we head into the middle of the week. Winds calming down by Thursday, but we should still be looking at a high rip current risk, high surf as we head into the end of the week. Overall, your alerts, we do have your tropical storm watch in effect for our coastal cont coastal areas. that does uh go stretch all the way from our area all the way up to the Big Bend. Uh tropical storm warning offshore of Appalachiccola where they are looking at those tropical storm force winds. Here's a look at that week ahead. You can see we do have your temperatures staying warm despite some of those pockets of some heavier tropical showers. 70 to 50% chance of rain. We're not expecting a wash out, but we will certainly see some rain around with this. We're also looking mainly at our coastal threat with this system. That's going to be high surf rip current risk, especially starting today. We're already looking at your rip current risks starting to tick up there and that will continue at least through Thursday, possibly longer. So, keep an eye on those coastal conditions.

[00:49:08]Temperatures will stay in the 90s as we head into your weekend.

[00:49:14]Something to watch out for if your morning commute includes the Crest View area. Here is a live shot at I 10 East of Antioch Road. There is a wreck on I 10 East at mile marker 54. Again, very near 85. Uh the right lane is blocked.

[00:49:28]Use caution. And there's also a problem in Escambia County. We want to let you know about. That one is Johnson Avenue at Bel Meadow Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol says there is no roadblock on that one, but just be careful.
