When xenophobic protests against undocumented immigrants escalate, affected nations often respond through diplomatic channels, such as sending delegations to engage with host country leadership, while also addressing concerns about the rhetoric and safety of their citizens abroad.

High delegations from Nigeria 🇳🇬 to SA 🇿🇦 on claimed XENOPHOBIC on Africans 😳Added:
Okay, well, citizens.
No sound.
Uh Nigerians here uh it would be very economic for me to say that uh they are not living under fears. They are living under great fears.
Uh it has affected my our national so much so that some of them for the past 2 3 weeks, they could not open their shops.
They could the some of them does not have any means of livelihood.
They have been running away from being uh uh targeted or attacked or because I mean uh the the issue is that we see what is going on. The tension in the air has made it quite uh worrisome.
And even for me uh uh being here I'm also greatly greatly concerned about this. To this uh spate of demonstrations that convey different meanings to the outside world.
And that also seems to impose fears and intimidation on ordinary uh people in terms of uh foreigners, even some South African even South African public.
Some are beginning to also feel quite unsafe in terms of these particularly the rhetorics.
The rhetorics that are coming out from the leaders of uh these movements uh is is quite troubling.
Very troubling.
So uh my country my country is very very concerned about this. Very very concerned.
Our National Assembly as I said that uh we are concerned. They are also concerned about what is going on in South Africa presently.
It is on the basis of that that and taking together that we have, you know, had a very pleasant relationship with South Africa in terms of Nigeria reaching out to South Africa. We've always seen South Africa, even during apartheid, we've always seen South Africa as our brothers, as people that we can never leave to their own fate. We must always come there. So, when you see this kind of thing coming, every stakeholders in Nigeria will be greatly concerned. And that is what is happening right now.
They are very concerned. And our parliament, on the on the basis of inter-parliamentary dialogue, they have resolved to come to South Africa to meet the leadership of the parliament in South Africa, which I think is a good development. It's It's It's a right step because, of course, these are representatives of the people.
You understand? And the people need to talk together with themselves. That's on the basis to which we operate.
Okay, so you said it about SABC News. It says Nigeria's acting High Commissioner to South Africa, Alexander Timipre, says a delegation from Nigeria National Assembly will travel to South Africa to engage with South African public representatives on escalating challenges linked to protest against undocumented immigrants. Well, well, well. Now, this is it. Africans are retaliating. They are saying that the ongoing protest against illegal immigration in South Africa is actually getting too much.
Even political parties are campaigning on the basis of illegal immigration in the country. They are saying that now now now now is the time for this to stop. So, they are now saying that Nigeria is sending their delegation soon to South Africa to ask questions and answer why there have been these issues still persisting in the country. I have seen Ghana actually calling for such thing in Ghana, calling High South African officials in Ghana to talk about the same issue. Nigeria also sending delegations to do the same thing. Ghana is also sending the whole conversation to the EU for that as well.
Now, things are actually escalating real bad and Africans are actually going back and forth with South Africa. The question is, who is at fault here and what do you think about this though? Let's see how some people took the news. You might find yourself a point of view. Let's see where you stand. One of the brothers came and said that they must discuss escalation of hijacked building or they must take South Africa and we must keep quiet. Why don't they discuss escalated drug trade by Nigerians and other foreign nationals?
Wow, okay. One says it is immaterial as this is no longer about the government position but about us as the public. 80% of those government officials reside in suburb areas with high walls. They rarely come across these drug dealers and hooligans.
Okay. One says that they must come and take their illegal immigrants and leave the illegal ones, not come for talk show and enjoy our beautiful country as well.
Wow. Maybe they will come and they will also not leave though. That would be so funny, right?
One says instead of blaming victims or downplaying the crisis, South Africa must address the violence head-on and ensure real consequences for those who harm Nigerians and other nationals.
Nigerians have shown remarkable remarkable restraint and discipline in the face of provocation and anyone who values justice and solidarity across Africa should stand with them. It is time to move from words to real actions.
Protecting lives matters more than political optics.
That's a Nigerian right there.
And lastly, one says that instead of traveling to South Africa to talk, the Nigerian National Assembly should be passing budgets to facilitate the safe and organized return of their citizens.
Wow, so basically this is it though.
These are all points of view from various African people concerning how the Nigerian delegation will be in South Africa and what they believe that needs to be done rather than just talking and doing diplomatically. What are your thoughts about this? Let's see where you stand. The name is Adashi.
Thank you for watching this though.
Thank you.
