[01:03:40]Kathleen Thomas was pulled over in February by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Deputy on suspicion of distracted driving.

[01:03:49]According to police body camera footage obtained by CBS News, the deputy claimed he saw Thomas holding and using a cell phone with her right hand while driving on North Dixie Highway.

[01:04:02]However, Thomas, who does not have a right hand, responded by showing the officer her right arm. Despite this, the deputy issued her a citation for allegedly violating Florida's wireless communication while driving law.

[01:04:20]The citation carried a $116 fine.

[01:04:24]Thomas later challenged the ticket in court and according to reports, the scheduled hearing was ultimately canceled after the deputy requested the case be dismissed due to lack of evidence.
