[00:28:22]This video starts with a guy simply recording in public near a school when officers suddenly decide he looks too young and start questioning him like he's skipping class. And right away, things get weird. Instead of having a normal conversation, cops immediately start pressing him for his age, asking if he should be in school, and demanding ID over some [music] supposed daytime loitering concern. The problem? The guy repeatedly tells them he's 19 years old and not in school. No crime, no suspicious behavior, just standing there with a camera.

[00:28:53]Officers start escalating the situation anyway, physically grabbing him and trying to pull him toward [music] the patrol car like refusing to answer random questions somehow became a crime.

[00:29:02]This is the kind of stuff [music] that frustrates people. If police are genuinely concerned about truancy, fine, ask a couple questions. But once the guy tells you he's an adult and there's no actual evidence of wrongdoing, [music] why are we still putting hands on him?

[00:29:15]That's where this starts feeling less like community policing and more like intimidation. To his credit, the guy stands his ground. He keeps reminding officers that recording in public is not illegal, that he hasn't committed a crime, and that being young looking doesn't suddenly erase your constitutional rights. He also pushes back on the unnecessary ID demand, which [music] is important because cops do not get to stop and identify people just because they're curious. And of course, once officers finally realize he's not a minor and [music] this whole thing is going nowhere, they suddenly back off and let him leave. No charges, no crime, no [music] apology, just another example of police escalating a situation that never should have become one in the first place. This is exactly why people record the police, because without the camera, moments like this turn into your word against theirs.
