DEAD BY DAYLIGHT JASON POWER REVEAL! EARLY ACCESS FOR "THE SLASHER"!

[00:00:00]Hello everybody and welcome to the channel. It's Polyester here and yesterday you may have seen this little tidbit from Dead by Daylight where they asked some faces you may recognize to react to Jason's Mory a little bit early. And today I'm able to share some uh gameplay footage with you and explain his power and share that full Mory with you and show you how Jason is not Trapper 2.0 as many of you are saying in the community. Okay, so Jason starts the game and he is almost immediately able to use his power which is called omnipresent evil. It allows him to go around the map undetectable. At first when I saw all of these white spots I thought that he was seeing survivor auras but those are his respawn points.

[00:00:44]He finds these survivors in these red clouds and then he uses his secondary ability to jump scare them which will reveal them with killer instinct when he pops out of nowhere. He's undetectable when using um omnipresent evil, but he can't see survivor scratch marks. He tracks them with those red clouds. I'll show you what that looks like from the survivor point of view. Now, from the survivor point of view, they see this mist on the sides and they know that Jason is in Omnipresent Evil and he could be popping up out of nowhere at any time.

[00:01:24]Now, you may have noticed that in addition to his signature machete as his M1 weapon, Jason has this improvised throwing spear in his left hand. He gets one of these, which he can quickly reload at any hook or any of the scrap piles that are located around the map.

[00:01:43]Okay, so here he hits Kate with the spear and then he's going to go to one of these scrap piles to reload. And Kate doesn't seem to be aware that he can see her aura because the spear is visible to him through her back.

[00:01:59]Keep that in mind. Now, it won't always be a hook that he's using for his improvised spear. Sometimes it'll be a piece of pipe or some perforated steel, which uh is appropriate cuz he's getting ready to perforate Kate here in just a second.

[00:02:15]Perforated steel. Perforated Kate tacked her straight to the wall.

[00:02:25]Okay, so now the gens are done. I love the sound effects here. And you can see all the white places, the spawns where Jason can respawn and and pop out of his omnipresent evil power. And he decides to pop in the movie theater. And this Felix finds out the hard way that when he uses his jump scare to come out of Omni Present Evil that the killer instinct is still revealing you in the locker. So keep that in mind.

[00:02:52]Here on another game, another map, I wanted to show you what it's like that Jason might find you not with just those red clouds surrounding a gen. He can track you by following your footsteps if you're running away while he's in Omnipresent Evil mode. and then he can find one of his respawn points to pop out and use the jump scare.

[00:03:14]Okay, you may have noticed that this version has the HUD. So, you can see all of the different options here between kicking in um Omnipresent Evil. And when it says here switch sides, that gives you, from my understanding, the ability to choose which direction you're going to face when you pop out of your jump scare. if you want to face left or right on those respawn points to come out of Omni Present Evil. Now, when someone's facing death hook, Jason has the ability to perform this mini mory to take them out of the game here. Don't even have to take them to a hook. It's just over for them.

[00:03:55]Okay, I hope this gave you a quick overview, an idea of what to expect tomorrow in the PTB and how Jason's power is going to work in game. And finally, here's that Mory that you saw us all reacting to yesterday. The gasoline is just a little bit extra, wouldn't you say? That was I think what surprised me the most. And I love that when he sparks the flame, it's the or the mama mama, whatever sound effect you prefer. I love that they incorporated that into the myy there for sure.
