Stealth fighter jets evade radar detection through multiple integrated design strategies: angular fuselage and wing surfaces that deflect electromagnetic waves away from the radar source, internal weapons bays that eliminate external protrusions, radar-absorbent composite coatings that dissipate incoming waves, S-shaped air intakes that prevent radar waves from reaching engine blades, and specialized exhaust nozzles that reduce infrared signatures by mixing hot exhaust with cooler ambient air.

How Do Stealth Jets Disappear From Radar?๐ฑ#shortsHinzugefรผgt:
What if a fighter jet could hide not just from your eyes, but from radar itself? If you paint a fighter jet in a shade of gray similar to the sky and fly it to a nearby island to enjoy the view, it's hard to spot it with the naked eye in advance. [music] However, when radar sends out electromagnetic waves, they hit the aircraft and bounce straight back to the radar receiver. Then, the radar can precisely lock onto the jet's position.
So, you design the fuselage, wings, and tail fins all as slanted surf with no vertical planes so that incoming electromagnetic waves are reflected away toward the sky or other directions where the enemy radar can't receive them. To further reduce the chance of being detected by radar, you store all external equipment like missiles inside internal weapons bays, making the surface extremely [music] smooth. Radar waves then scatter away at different angles instead of reflecting directly back.
You also evenly [music] coat the entire jet with a special composite material that absorb, but the engine blades inside are still strong reflectors and can easily be targeted. This doesn't stump your clever mind. You design the air intake in an S [music] shape, so even if radar waves enter, they keep bouncing around the curved passage and can't directly hit the engine blades to create a strong echo. To prevent the high-temperature exhaust from the tail nozzle from being detected, some stealth aircraft use flat nozzles or serrated nozzle edges.
These designs help the hot exhaust mix with [music] cool outside air more quickly, reducing the infrared heat signature while also scattering radar [music] waves further.
